Randy waited for his students to show up to class, he had teloscopes set up all around the classroom and a lesson plan ready. He waited as class wasn't to start for a couple of hours.

Laurel trudged up the stairs to the astronomy tower. No matter how many times she had ascended the stairs, she could never get used to the tiring trip. She had finally reached the top, noticing she was the first student to arrive. Still our of breath Laurie smiled at the Professor. "Good evening, Professor," she greeted.

Randy turned around and noticed a student, "Good morning, You are?" Randy waiting for an introduction. "I'm Professor Ross."

Trista trudged up the long spiraling stairs to the class in her wolf form with her bag slung around her neck. She reached the door and morphed back, retrieving her bag and carrying it through the door where she noticed the professor and Laurel standing. "My apologies.." Trista walked forward and stood next to Laurie. "I'm not usually late, sir. Trista Finsteti." Trista introduced herself.

Randy nodded, "Very well, Let us begin. You may sit anywhere that your on your tables half of the room. I believe i put Ravenclaw and Slytherin on the right and Hufflepuff and Gryffindor on the left." He explained. "Can either of you tell me what a star is?" he asked. "Once i see you have an understanding we will get into our activity."

Trista looked up at the professor as she took a seat on the right side of the room. She didn't know much about stars, but she did know how to summarize them. "A star, I believe sir, is a ball of burning gas. Our sun itself is considered a star." She felt that her answer was awefully vague, though she knew that was the gist of it.

"I'm Laurel Williams," Laurie introduced herself to Professor Ross. She then proceeded to sit on the left side of the room, and concentrate on the Professor's question. Laurie agreed with Trista's answer, but thought maybe she'd add onto it a little. "Aren't stars made of hydrogen and helium gases?"

"Your are part right." Randy said with a smile, "A star is indeed burning gases. Hydrogen and Helium are the main elements in them even though you will probably find some others. Our sun is a rather small star, believe it or not. It is also a very dim star, hard to believe but true." Randy said. He looked around for 9 different round balls. He pulled out two sets and handed one to Laurel and one to Trista. "Alright, now this balls represent our planets and the sun. The activity is rather simple, you must line the solar system up on their axis in the order they are in the solar system." He explained. "If you line them up in a straight line the answer will be incorrect, the catch to this is the balls take on different rotations based on where they are located now and will move all over the room. Some will spin rather fast being that they are mini versions of the planets. Once in their right position the movement will stop. First person to get it gets a point for their team." Randy explained

(( We use a dice roll system. 100 sided dice. you must role once for each planet and 65+ gets the planet in order. However, if you roll under that number and planet will move around the room wildly and it will take an 80 to catch it. Roll only one die at a time for each planet. Depending on how this goes their might be some house points awarded.))

Ginger stared at their professor, then to Laurel and Trista. The balls that were supposed to represent the solar system were gleaming oddly, to her. So they were supposed to team up and try to get their system working correctly? She looked at the two girls, wondering in what team she was. Did they choose, or did Professor Randy tell them who to join?

Randy looked at Ginger, "hello, Slytherin right?" Randy said watching the rest of the class, "You should go to the left of the room with Ravenclaw." Randy said as he handed Ginger a bag of the 9 balls for the solar system. "Ask your teammate for instructions,"

Ginger nodded at the question of whether she was a Slytherin or not, "Virginia Pure, Professor," She said, then took the bag from their teacher and peered into it curiously, before moving towards Trista with a questioning look.

Randy sat back and pulled out some bearty box every flavor beans. "This should be good." he laughed.

((People aren't really posting but read back a couple posts the instructions are there.)) xd

Trista chuckled at Ginger's puzzled look. "He wants us to set these balls up as our solar system. We are supposed to line them up according to their position right now, i think..and we must set up the axis up correctly, and the rotation of the planets too. Once their motions have stopped, you know that the position is correct. He said something about dice too, but I really can't remember how that was supposed to work." Trista laughed and dumped out her bag of spheres onto the desk and started levitating them each, leaving them to hang in the air while she thought of a simple way to take on the project.

((No the dice system it's a role playing thing, If you guys don't already know, look above were you type for Post Action and change it to dice roll, You need to get a 65 or higher each roll or the dice will go all over the room.))

Randy Looked around at the puzzled look of all his students and simply smiled, *Let's see if they get the trick as well,* thought Randy. He waited for the first student to try.

((Heres an example of a dice roll.))
