I was finally able to get it downloaded, but when I try to play story mode it kicks me off and says that it's encountered an error right when I beat Reimu.
I heard problems about this happening after people beat Okuu; how do you fix this problem again?

It's still acting up mad It probably has nothing to do with this, but are you using Applocale or have your system locale set to Japanese? I remember that SWR played perfectly fine normally, but if you tried to use the palette editor with it, you had to have both running in Japanese.

So...after patching to version 1.03 it still crashes after Reimu, or is something else happening now...?

I'm not sure if the patch actually installed correctly; we downloaded it and it still crashes after Reimu

I'm hoping that is the case, because it would make this problem a lot easier to figure out.

Also, I don't have a japanese language pack, so the characters (words) come out REALLY garbly.

Are you making sure it's patching to the right location of the game? Because admittingly, I accidentally entered the wrong directory and that was my problem last time I patched. Or rather, I accidentally created a new 12.3 folder within my 12.3 folder. >>; Just run the patcher again and double check.
It doesn't matter, you really shouldn't need one.

If all else fails and it won't patch, I'll upload a pre-patched version or something.
This game is on a computer, computers are related to science, it works. ...As for Jesus, you're on your own figuring that one out.
