It had been a while since Pilate had made an a** of her self with her fail hunt in front of a gentleman of a lion. Now she seemed to feel a little.... drawn to him. Hard to believe it had only been a little while ago she met him. Now she looked for him almost every chance she could get.
Her radioactive pelt disturbed the grass fields as she made her rounds. To an on looker observer, she might be mistaken for being on the hunt almost. But this cheetah was not, at least not for food. Her bright pink eyes were ever searching as she went. Her nose was well at work as she stopped to sniff out that familiar scent.
She wanted to go down by the creek today and catch fish. The cheetah wanted to show a trick she had been taught by a leopard. Really, it was a good trick. Totally the reason she was seeking him out right now. Yep, she didn't like him like that. ... They were friends.
Pilate puffed out her chest and lifted her nose in the air sniffing.
"Rahvu.. where are you?" She mumbled.

Rahvu was just being slightly odd today. Then again he liked to do that some times. The grass was soft and if felt nice laying in it. It was shady and soft. You can't forget how hidden he was. He flicked his tail around a few times. There was one feline that was really stuck in his mind. Pilate... Yes. He wasn't that sure but the green creature was really staying in his mind despite his attempts to think of something else. It was odd, he really never had anyone stuck in his mind for that long.
He had a lazy smirk grew on his face as he was sprawled out on his back his paws resting on his stomach, and a dreamy look as stuck on his face. Maybe he should go out and look for her later, spend some time with her. No that was a little creepy. Was it? No not really. You're looking for a friend, not its not that bad... She wasn't more than a friend.
He was snapped out of his day dreaming as some one walked by him, then he heard his name. Was some one looking for him? He jumped up quickly slightly out of surprise and instinct. It then took him only a moment to realize who it was saying his name. "Pilate!" He chuckled slightly as he caught his balance on his paws, a little dizzy from jumping up so fast.

The radioactive cheetah whipped around to find her dark lion companion. A smile found its way to her maw instantly. She was relieved that finding him had been so easy.
"Rahvu!" The cheetah grinned and bounced her way over to him. It was evident that she was very happy to see him. Her grin couldn't have been wider and the bounce couldn't have been bouncier. The green cheetah tilted her head up at him.
"So you lazing around the plains today I see. " She did a little turn around and started to strut in another direct, "I have a funner idea how to spend the day if you want... " She stopped and sat on her haunches. "Lets go catch some fish~" The cheetah chimed a little.

Rahvu looked at the cheetah, he couldn't help but to smile as she smiled. It was pretty contagious, it made him happy too. As she bounced over to him he leaned over some and nuzzled his friend, a friendly gesture. Yes, just a friendly one, it didn't mean more than just a friendship thing... Right?
He nodded with a slight chuckle. "I was." He winked at her before nipping at her playfully. "That was before I ran into my bouncy friend." He laughed slightly before winking at her,a smirk stayed on his lips. He watched her strut and his maw twitched for a moment. She was pretty cute- No! That was his friend. He flicked his tail behind him before cocking his head to the side. "Really?" He asked with a smile still on his lips. "Fishing?" He asked as he sauntered by her side before pulling at her ear softly "Sounds like fun. And if we can't get any swimming is always fun." He laughed softly before looking forward
"Theres a lake not that far off... You wanna race?" He asked with excitement in his voice.

Pilate gave the lion a sly smile, he wanted to race her? Well, to be truthful, Rahvu was really fast for a lion. He almost rivaled a cheetah.
"Race?" The cheetah echoed, "You want to?" She with held her chuckle. Didn't want to come off as arrogant. The cheetah purred, a race sounded fun. Pilate loved to run.
"Alright , but you get a five second head start. Then I'll come in and whoop your a**. " Pilate winked, she was joking of course. Rahvu was really fast. Honestly, she doubted that he would need the five second head start. She'd seen him run before.
Other lions were clumsy and to awkward for such fast running. Not Rahvu.
"Are you ready?" Pilate gave him a wink and crouched down into a run position, "Better start running Rahvu ~"

Rahvu bumped Pilate playfully with a grin on his face. "Of course I want to race. Thats why I suggested it." He laughed slightly then licked his lips. He was really good at when it came to fighting he wasn't the most powerful creature, he wouldn't be able to take on some one his age he would be able to avoid the hits and such but he wouldn't be able to knock another lion over easily, not at all. But he could easily run from them, or dodge a hit.
He laughed slightly before looking at her with a small smirk, wiggling his toes in the sand and grass. "Only if you want to lose." He laughed before slinking down a bit. His body preparing itself for the sprint. He always loved to keep himself in shape with little things like racing and stuff.
"Of course." Before she could finish telling him to start running he took off. His paws quickly hitting the ground. Looking back for a moment before he continued running quickly toward the spot that they were both heading.

Pilate smirked and started to count. She didn't draw out the numbers like she did for most lions though. Rahvu was fast for a lion and didn't need THAT much of a head star. "Five!" And she was off. The streak of radio active green followed the path Rahvu had chosen. Dodging this and that with skill she had mastered over the years.
She was fast as any cheetah, using her tail to direct her through here and there. It was quite a sight. Still, Rahvu seemed to have the upper paw.
Five seconds... may have been to generous of a head start.
"I'm gonna get you! " Pilate cried, her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth as she ran.

Rahvu heard her cry for five. It made him grin even more, running just that much faster. His tail wrapped around his leg to keep him from going slower. He looked up with a grin determined to beat her. His lanky body did well in the run and he was glad that he was as skinny as he was. He really was glad.
He laughed the best he could while running. He turned a quick corner around a tree before laughing slightly. "Sure! If you sa- so!" He said in pants before looking forward, he was almost there he was so happy. His paws were starting to hurt a bit. "I'm going to win!" He called out as he slowed down pawing more slowly. He was pretty sure that he won but he looked around as if to make sure. His tongue lolled out of his mouth and he wandered toward the water and started to lap up some of the water

Pilate was closing in on him toward the end of that race. He was slowing! The cheetah grinned and kept her pace up but..... Rahvu beat her anyways. The cheetah laughed and plowed through the water, slowing as the water got up to her shoulders. It was nice and cool.
"Wow, " She giggled looking over at Rahvu, "You really are the fastest lion I'd ever met." She ducked her head under the water real fast and disappeared under the murky water. A slight shimmer of green was the only thing that gave the hint she was still there.
After a minute or two she shot back up taking a long gasp of air.
"Phew its hot. Water feels nice."

Rahvu grinned at the cheetah before chuckling slightly. "You're really fast yourself." He laughed breathlessly, before leaning over and lapping up some water. He pushed some of his paws into the water, getting used to the feeling of the water on his fur it was nice after a run. Especially when it was hot out, and around this area it almost always seemed hot out.
"It does." He moved forward some more into the water before looking back at her with a grin, swiping a paw her way making sure to splash her. "Still think it does?" He asked joking around a bit before wading a little more into the water. "You still up for that fishing?"

Pilate shook the water off of her that Rahvu had flinged.
"Yup, still feels pretty good." The cheetah gave him a smart a** grin. She liked playing with Rahvu, he was fun and kinda cute.... Wait what? The cheetah blinked and shook her head again, sending water flying here and there while she did.
"Fishing. Oh right ! " Yeah, she had almost forgotten. "Alright we should probably get to shallower water then," The cheetah kicked off and headed closer to the rocky river bed where she positioned her self, reading to show Rahvu her new trick.

Rahvu looked at the cheetah before laughing slightly. "I'd have to say its a lot better than running." He winked at her before leaning over once more and lapping up just a little more water. It was always good to have water after a run. He was glad that they ran to a watering hole and no some where else. that would have been a pain in the but. At least to Rahvu anyway. When he ran and didn't have water to drink, he'd normally flop down and go to sleep. That wouldn't have been very nice to Pilate.
He chuckled slightly before nodding. "Yeah silly! Remember?" He teased slightly then flicked his tail behind him. He let out a small yawn before nodding toward her. "Sounds like a plan." He chuckled slightly before wading into the water looking around and scoping out the water, looking for the slippery figure of a fish, half watching Pilate with a grin on his face.

Pilate stuck her tongue out at Rahvu playfully, "Yeah of course I remember. I'm not a du- OHHHH" and the cheetah was down in the water having tripped on a rock. Dramatically she just laid there for a moment not sure if she wanted to get up.
But the cheetah did get up after a few moments of laying there like a dud. She was frowning. That had not been something she wanted Rahvu to see.

Rahvu looked at the cheetah returning the favor by sticking his tongue back out at her. He laughed slightly before leaning down for a moment, chuckling a bit as the lioness talked. Right as he noticed a fish it was startled away and Pilate didn't finish her sentence.
He paused before looking up and blinking at her on the ground. He trotted over and nudged her, trying to help her get up. "Silly, you have to watch where you're going." He chuckled lightly, not laughing at her but in a playful manner.

Pilate lifted her head up , still frowning some. It wasn't a sad frown now, it was teasing.
"Yeah of course," The cheetah craned her head to the side, " This is twice now that I messed up a hunt. Heh, and here I claim to be gods gift to hunting, " The cheetah slowly got up.
Honestly the water felt nice, but she didn't want Rahvu to worry that she had hurt her self by continuing to just lay there.
"Right. So lets see about this fishing then shall we?" The cheetah purred and flicked a bit of water of her paws. Little good did that do as she was standing in water.
