Well, I feel kinda stupid about posting this. Yeah I'm proud of myself for moving to first clarinet, but, I'm a Junior...in a concert band class full of Freshmen... redface
Oh well! The main reason I'm usually on third is because its the easiest part! Plus I like to watch the Freshmen strugle with first! Its funny...I'm so sad... sweatdrop

Yeah...I switching to oboe too. Our oboe graduated las year, so me and a friend voluntered to play. I just need a reed. sweatdrop

Darlene I stayed cause the freshman needed me, you can hardly hear them, but now I abondon them for BASS CLARINET!!!! MUWHAHAHAHAAHH!!! I HAVE EASIER MUSIC THEN YOU NOW!!!

congrats!
i was boosted up to 2nd clarinet as soon as i entered senior band.
i really counldt stand third.. but then again.. i need solos xD
dont really wanna be in first though.. too hard hehe
but congrats on that!

6th-9th grade I played 3rd, my section leader's friends didn't like me, however I was upgraded to 2nd my 10th and half my 11th grade year, now its my senior year and I almost wish I was back on 3rd its easier and I don't need to know a high F, that is why I will be playing an alto clarinet in wind ensemble. hopefully if we still have it.
