This is not mine, but my mother's. While she was pregnant with me she craved frenchfries drentched in vinigar and salt. And she believes it's the reason why I always want salt and vingar chips and frenchfries. *Yum*

And she believes it's the reason why I always want salt and vingar chips and frenchfries. *Yum* Yes, there seems to be a large belief that, when women crave something during pregnancy, it's not their craving, but the fedus's. I've read one case where a pregnant woman craved nothing but powerfully spicy foods; she had always hated spicy foods. So, she threw up after almost every spicy meal until she gave birth to a healthy baby girl; even today, the girl can't resist jalepeno nachos!

She craved "hott" foods and hates spicey stuff. But, I eat jalepenos like candy. My husband is Mexican, loves spicey foods, but can't keep up with me when it comes to my jalepeno benges. (He thinks I am insane.) blaugh

Thanks for making the thread, Nikolita!
Anyway, my mum's food cravings were always hamburgers. Nothing else, really, just hamburgers.
I like cheeseburgers more, now, but burgers have always been one of my favorite foods.

During: cheeseburgers from mcdonalds, cheese steaks, wawa hoagies Yum! Frenchfries with hot wing sauce is awesome! Expecially durring that time of the month. Or Arbey's curly fries with hot sauce. *Faints* sorry. I've never been pregnant, but I always have weird food cravings, expecially near that time of the month. My husband likes to put chips on his sandwhiches.
Another of my mom: With my brother she ate alot of hotdogs. My brother loves hotdogs. ( i think they are disgusting!)

My mom wanted Slim Jim sandwiches with extra pickles from Big Boy...I think the sandwich has like ham or turkey and lettuce and stuff on it, and it's on special bread...I don't like them at all, but it's all she could eat. The people working the late shift at Big Boy would ask how she was doing whenever my dad called since he called so often.

I had been a vegetarian for I think about 5 years before I got pregnant... but then, I started craving steak... BADLY! It's ALL I wanted! That should have been my FIRST clue that I was pregnant with a boy. razz So I gave in, and gave up on vegetarianism. The steak was just TOO good, LOL! When DH's mom was pregnant with DH, I guess all she wanted was McD's, and when she was pregnant with his brother, all she wanted was Taco Bell.

The first time around, Bannana split Blizzards from DQ.
This time around, Chips and Salsa, Mcd's Frenchfries, and subsandwhiches with extra extra EXTRA pickles.
Damn...now I need some subway.

Hehe, according to old wives tales, craving meat and cheese is a sign you're having a girl. whee Shows how much they know.
My cravings have been really varied depending on where I am in my pregnancy. The big ones are just beef in general, M&M blizzards, and early on I was craving cantalope and I HATE cantalope.
