Stand Navy out to sea, Fight our Battle Cry; We'll never change our course, So vicious foe steer shy-y-y-y. Roll out the TNT, Anchors Aweigh. Sail on to Victory And sink their bones to Davy Jones, Hooray!
Anchors Away, my boys, Anchors Aweigh. Farewell to foreign shores, We sail at break of day-ay-ay-ay. Through our last night on shore, Drink to the foam, Until we meet once more. Here's wishing you a happy voyage home.
Blue of the Mighty Deep; Gold of God's Sun Let these colors be till all of time be done, done, done, On seven seas we learn Navy's stern call: Faith, Courage, Service true, with Honor, Over Honor, Over All.

You think the Navy, note the "y" there, has a bad reputation for something? Marines, Army, Air Force, National Guard, everyone's service has their own negative points. <3

It's not a big deal, heck, we poke fun at the Marines and Coast Guard all the time. I think I just got a bit picky with the whole thing because a friend of mine had just deployed to a Marine unit over in Afghan to help them out. XD
@ Allysdair; You're an IT huh? Same here. When did you go to boot camp?
-Remembers that tune all too well from boot- Dear god that was years ago. How time flies.

I think I would join the Navy if I could go swimming, but then again- I don't think anyone could handle me on a boat for 6 months straight xd

How's the Florida weather? You're in the newer version of A school then, I was in the instructor based older version where we HAD to stay in C. Station for the full 3 months. Over a year ago, though I doubt much has changed about the way the base itself is run. Good luck getting the orders you want, though I'll admit, it's not true that best in class gets first dibs on the place they want orders to. If you're first/top ranking in your class, you're going wherever they think they'll benefit the most with you. I was pretty high up in my class and thankfully got the orders I wanted, but top and second in our class got Norf*cked because they needed people at Command Second Fleet.
Good luck in school. Have you met the fire ants yet? lol.

Well, I am glad that my thread has a few ITs in it. I am one as well. Though, you are right, top of the class doesn't mean you get your orders. I got put up in DC. But good luck on your orders.

So, no airdales in here?!
I wanna know some airdales, especially avionics airdales, like me. I'm training to become an AE; I first took ATT in TSC Great Mistake, and now I'm awaiting class up for AE A in NAZI (get it?)Pensacola.
Ah, we are not lazy!!!!!
