We have always wondered so far why the Big Sister is always the way she is.
Personally i think its her monthly adamnized period lol

Chenrezi I'm going to take a wild guess here and say MASSIVE CHILDHOOD TRAUMA. i also agree with that but also that she was practicly taught and raised to collect adam from corpses also to protect any other little sisters so they won't go threw the same stuff she did when she was a little sister i bet when did the bad ending of bioshock that little sister that tryes to give you the key to rapture and u grab her i think that little sister comes back to get revenge and in bioshock 2 she sees that new big daddy acting weird and thinks that that big daddy is the guy from the first game but isen't sure

well, it's just like asking the 'Why do Big Daddys -yes if its a name, you dont put ies lol- protect the little sister?'. This is because of what was found by doctor Suchong (before he got buttraped by a big daddy xD... b*****d deserved it twisted MUAHAHAHAHA!!), 'The Father-Daughter Bond' which was a gene given to the big daddy so he would give his life to protect her~ crying SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I never heard they gave the big sister, but i'll bet they did... cool
