Character Info
Name : Jackie "Jack" Cobb
Age : 17
Gender : Female
Appearance : Jackie is a tall, lithe figure with a stocky and muscular frame. Her hair is a rich reddish brown hue and she keeps it cut rather short and boyish. Her eyes are a striking and attentive green.
Though she is a pretty girl, she dresses much more like a male and nearly very much like her father. She seems to adore suits and the like, so it is not uncommon to see her wearing her father's clothes now and again. The two are nearly the same size, as he is a scrawny and slightly short fellow.
Personality : Jack, as she would prefer to be called, is certainly an interesting individual. She tends to keep more to herself and often will focus conversations on the other person she happens to be talking with. She comes off as friendly and very bright, but avoids speaking about herself like the plague. Because of her warm and seemingly caring personality, she attracts a lot of attention. Usually it amounts to others relaying their problems to her, which can get very tiring and frustrating.
She spends a great deal of time focusing on her studies and works hard to do what she calls her “duties to herself and her family.” She is determined to do well in life, even if her ties with her family aren’t as strong as she pretends they are.
When she does find something she is passionate about, she literally throws her all into it. She goes out of her way to make her visions come around to being tangible. She tends to try and take care of herself and will do what ever she can to avoid having to ask others for help.
While at times she can be bold, she tends to judge her enemies and the situations that she finds herself in with a great deal of scrutiny and will back out as fast as she can if she deems the situation a little too deep for her.

History : Jackie was born the first child to a medium sized family. She had her mother, her father, and two younger sisters. Her father served in the guard and spent most of his time working on duty, while her mother spent much of her time working in town as a nurse. Given this, Jackie spent a great deal of time watching her younger siblings, the youngest of which was born with a sort of mental illness that made her extremely violent and argumentative. That is not to say she didn’t have time for some of the things she took a great deal of pleasure in during her younger years, but she certainly didn’t get to get quite as gritty as she would have. She spent what time she could in the yard catching frogs and playing in mud, generally taking delight in the natural world around her.
Her dæmon began to manifest very early in her lifetime, though she was just a whisper in the back of the girl’s mind.
Jackie had been out mucking around, she often did when she was younger, and was merely ten years old. She considered herself to be just another one of the boys and romped just as roughly. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary as two teenagers approached her. Even now, she can’t imagine what possessed her to be so trusting of the pair, but she followed them behind a stretch of homes not too far from her own, with the promise of a hunt for slimy amphibians.
And it was there that she known in ways she never wanted to be known.
“Hold tight.” The voice was small and so quiet she almost couldn’t hear it, but it was there. “It will be over. You will be okay.”
That voice was like an anchor in a storm. The girl clung tight to it, dry eyed and terrified, and when she was home, safe, it was nearly gone. It was only the shadow of a whisper in the back of her mind. She struggled to forget the events and, in a desperate attempt at self-preservation, managed to convince herself that it must have been nothing more than some horrible nightmare, as she did with multiple events over her young life.
Though she moved on with her life, it was always gnawing at the base of her skull, like some ghastly secret she could never escape…
But she managed.
As she moved on, however, something seemed seriously wrong.
Things were growing off her chest. Those weren’t supposed to be there. Suddenly it wasn’t right to romp with the neighborhood rabble of boys.
Her body was doing things it wasn’t supposed to.
Everything was wrong.
Like she had with many events in her life, she struggled to block it all out. All the memories and unhappy feelings.
Much to her surprise, a voice began to speak in the back of her mind. It was a comforting voice. It felt very familiar.
It told her not to worry, that everything would be alright.
