Dont know if anyone remembeers but aboout over a month ago I was saying that my throat feel swollen.
Well, at first we didnt go to the doctors since mum doesnt like using medicine and rather use like herbal/natural stuff.
And for bout a month up until almost 2 weeks ago, she cooked like herbal/natural stuff. But it didnt get completely better, it did work a little, since at the beginning it was quite swollen and then it went a little less swollen.
But it still wasnt better, I think im just really slow at recovering since there was other illness which take me ages to get better.
Anyway, since it took quite long, she took me to the doctors just to check that it wasnt anything serious. Because, well, she know quite a lot of herbal ingredient and stuff, but it's not like she's actually a doctor.
Went to the doctors 2 weeks ago. (I went with my dad, but technically I was alone since he doent understand very well). And well, the doctor didnt say it was serious but he didnt say it wasnt either. Just gave me antibiotics for a week.
Well, I finished taking it a few days ago. But it still not completely better. And well, since it not too serious, she ended up just going to make healthy stuff for me.
After taking medicine, the swelling at like my throat near the back of my tongue is better. It doesnt feel like its swollen. But my throat, like kinda where the neck is feel like...umm...not sure how to describe properly, but it feel like something's there? like there's a lump in my throat. It was like that since near the beginning, my mum was like, "yea I know, I had that before. etc etc." and say shes gona make this and that. It's not like it's always there, it occasionally comes and goes.
But it's just really annoying. Herbal/natural stuff takes a while to get better I know, but I wish I would get better soon. And being...weak? doesnt help the recovering process. Also though mum make healthy stuff, she doesnt have time to make it everyday, so its just like maybe weekly.
Why doe it take so long to get better but so quick to get sick...same goes with pretty much anything. Good takes ages whilst bad things seem to hapen instantly...
-sigh- Sorry just had to get it out otherwise I think too much.... -Goes to look through the gazillion collection of one shot mangas to get mind off it-
-Anyone else takes a while to recover?

I'm sorry that it's taking so long for you to feel better *huggles* I do hope that it goes completely away soon 3nodding
As for me, I'm actually always sick. I have allergies in every season, achs and pains everywhere thanks to family and such, and a hubby who doesn't get sick but somehow still passes something onto me confused
Messed up huh? lol

i'm the one that gets sick the most in my family <.< and i don't know how. but i'm a trooper, so even if i get sick, i either recover quickly or it's not that bad o.o everyone else is usually down for the count for several days.
it was weird, i once got hit by a really bad cold out of nowhere. just all of a sudden one day, i felt tired, i had a slight headache, and after hours of sleeping i noticed that i must have had a really bad fever because i still felt cold despite 3 layers of blankets O_o i eventually got up and managed to watch the tail end of a movie my parents were watching, but i was drifting in and out. by the next morning i was feeling a lot better. weirdest thing...just glad it wasn't something serious.
i hope you get better soon...though that lump or whatever sounds a bit worrying.

I'm sure you'll be fine. *huggles* :3
As for me, I usually get a cold every month and a half. Usually they're not really bad, like I hardly get fevers anymore, but I did get one right before exam time in June that I particularly remember as being pretty bad. Of course I had to go to school everyday anyway because it was the week where we got a bunch of evaluations and essays. >_>; Still, makes me wonder if it wasn't the Swine flu, because I sure felt like how they described it. (and to anyone who's watched the ending to the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, I can tell you right now that watching it while running a fever makes it even more weird and... effed up)
