I like it. To us the guild will always be LG. lets face it weve pretty much leveled out. join requests are barely existant. we got all the gangsta types on gaiaonline we wont grow anymore. We have an opportunity to grow if we change our image. Its not what I want to do but it might be what we need to do. I really think this name suites us. Does anyone else think we should give it a try? Sounds like the best one ive heard of any. its general. and we could advertise ourselves as guild of the new era

Alright, a new name would be good.
New Era seems a bit too general and non-cool looking imo. xD

well Lyrical Generation sounded too un-general. Maybe we need to appeal more to the masses. I think New Era sounds kinda powerful. I need some more input. I already got Los Gangstas name saved on another guild. IF im going to do a name change it has to sound more general. im not just going to go with another hip-hop type name, if im going to do that id have just kept our original name we had for 5 years!

how about "The New Era" would that look better. If were gonna change i at least want LG to focus on the modern aspects of life and not anything really old school

I came to look for LG and I saw "New Era" and I knew these we're my LG niggas... I love the name.
The New Era or New Era... both are good fam.

Yea like we gotta be unique I see your point here. and this names unique compared to a hip-hop name. Just let all know that we allow anybody and focus mainly on Hip-Hop followed by a small peice of organization involved ('cause we are one)

I want to appeal to the masses too but we're mostly a hip hop guild here and we're a core of hip hoppers, keystylers and rappers, that doesn't mean we don't welcome or don't post anything else other than hip hop... don't get me wrong, I like variety but community is something I think would be important too.... We can always invite people who aren't to hip hop to come here but I guess New Era's alright and it does say that we focus hip hop on the main page. ^^

I think being too general with the name is good.
It'll bring in more different people and not just one type.
The New Era sounds awesome.
