You open the tiny leather-bound book up, to find a dedication written on the first page;

Underneath is printed in careful block capitals:

You turn the page, to find the next is entitled:

'Me'

I'm Kelly. A Houaza Komodo - Phoenix Child. I suppose that means I'm special; just like everyone else, eh? Nova, my new guardian, says that I am special. I suppose I am, but she says that everyone is. I think she's a 70's throwback or something o___o;

I like... I like writing. It's not exactly fun, but it's nice. Yeah. Reading is nice as well. Maybe it's rather sad, but I do love reading fantasy books. It's like I can be somebody else, somewhere else, and I don't have to be me.

Like I said: kind of sad.

I'm pretty short for my age; I hate that >___>; but I've been told I have a charming smile when I'm not glaring at people or bursting into tears. Hmm.

Um... I haven't really talked to anyone... it's... kind of scary. I suppose now I live with Nova she's going to make me... but I don't really want to...

When I have time, I'll put up my opinion of various other people in my current household.
