The moon is particularly bright tonight, Tsukiko thought to herself. Once again, like every other night when the moon was in the sky, she was staring at it. Every once in a while she would lower her head to nibble on some grass in the meadow clearing, which she had picked out for that evening stroll. The surrounding forest whispered gently in a soft, cool breeze, causing her hair and feathers to sway slightly.

It had rained earlier, which caused some evening dew to form everywhere. She did not mind at all. I'll bet some of the pretty-whores would freak out if they were out in this, she thought smugly.

She then took some time to gather in her surroundings. The forest was mostly pine, and the meadow was full of tall grass. No water source could be seen. Evidently no other creature had visited the area in some time, to her eyes. She then asked herself, Maybe there's a reason? Could there be danger here? Shaking her head briskly, she lowered her head again to graze some more, her mind's eye still watching the moon.
