Haemon slunk through undergrowth, his tail hung low and his head rolling between his shoulders, he walked with an all too relaxed gait, though even in the manner he carried himself he'd still stand taller than a lot of the larger male wolves. He did not carry a lot of weight, his build being lean and somewhat gangly but the aura he gave off demanded respect and even in those with a strong constitution his presence could often instil a great deal of fear or unsettle.
His bloody red eyes shone with humour. The female, Liriel, which the alpha had paired him with had escaped his company, though admittedly he had let her go, she was good sport for a short period of time but her mind was twisted and he did not care for such company. So he headed off in search of the run away female by himself.
He had no hopes for finding the female, though he did hope the time would allow him to build up a certain knowledge of the surrounding lands and packs. He noted there was a fair amount of game in the area, sensing the life blood flow but with time he noted another wolf was present in the area and was heading in his general direction.
A small smile slipped up the side of his face. He carried on, towards the other at a steady, unfaltering pace.

Aitou had begun her run early that morning. She'd run into a bit of trouble, and ended up with a deep wound across the side of her neck. Panting heavily as she loped in whatever direction her panicked mind sent her.
The wound had begun to clot, finally, but from her neck all the way down her shoulder was what looked to be a drying waterfall of blood. It wasn't as much as it might look, but it was enough to make her a little dizzy.
Tongue lulling, her body finally picked up a limp when the throbbing from her neck was sent down into her shoulder, and her running was slowed to a mere trot--an awkward trot, but still decently speedy for a wounded wolf. All she could smell was her own blood, her fur bristled up so she looked bigger than she was, and her oceanic blue eyes wide to spot anything that might be coming after her--or towards her. Aitou's breaths were heavy, coming quickly in gasps and thick swallows. Suddenly, she felt like she couldn't go any further, and she collapsed down to her stomach, settled her weight to the opposite side of her wound. "Damnit.." She cursed, craning her head to try and get a look at the gash.

The closer Haemon got to the other the more he became interested. His nose picked up the scent long after his shaman abilities had told him the story, but now he could scent the other wolf and analyse that it was a female. She had cut her shoulder, somehow and had lost a considerable amount of blood though the wound was now clotting and beginning to heal she'd be weak for a while yet.
He never changed his pace and after a while his eyes came to rest upon her. She had collapsed, unsurprisingly onto the ground. He smiled down at her. Haemon was not a heavily built wolf but he dwarfed even his alpha in height, he shadowed the female and in a creeping, menacing tone of voice he addressed her, 'You've lost a lot of blood there my pet.'
He bent down and licked the drying blood from her leg, flickering his blood red eyes to meet her dazzling blue, a sparkle dancing upon the surface. He pulled away and then focused on her shoulder.
He increasing the level of platelets in the blood being supplied to the wound at her shoulder, speeding the healing of the wound and then he encouraged the bone marrow to produce more blood cells, erythroid cells in carry more oxygen about her body and aid in the recovering oxygen depleted muscles from her frantic run. Lymphiod cells to aid the immune system and any possible infection to the shoulder wound and finally Myeloid cells for aiding with the blood clotting.
His shoulders dropped a bit with exhaustion from helping the female, but he soon recovered and asked with a grim smile, 'How do you feel?'

Aitou hadn't been paying enough attention. When the male came, seemingly out of nowhere, into view from her peripheral vision she jumped. A low snarled rumbled up from her throat, making it ache from previous screams and cries of being mauled. Being a lone wolf, this had to happen often enough to where she should know better than to run herself down like that.
The lick to her leg made her bristle that much more, hackles rising and body trembling. Was he going to kill her? He was huge. His voice sent chills through her body, and yet...it seemed familiar in a way, a comforting way. As to how that could be comforting, she couldn't be sure. But Aitou wasn't in her right mind right now.
The tingling sensation that ran through her made her panic, trying to scramble to get up but failing miserably, embarrassing herself by thumping right back down to the ground multiple times, sending up a cloud of dust as she went. "Stop! Stop, what're you--" And she silenced. The pain had settled into a slight stinging sensation, and her muscles were slowly beginning to stop aching...her breathing had slowed, but her heart was still racing in her chest, threatening to breath through at any second.
Her eyes rose back up to the male, confusion taking over rather than fear. "What did you do?" She demanded, but her voice was soft, thankful, despite herself. "..what are you?" He couldn't be a wolf, no. He had just gotten rid of her pain, her suffering. Was he a god, an angel? Aitou's mother had spoken of them before. But he didn't resemble an angel at all.
Not in the very least.
"I...feel better," she admitted, but now her side ached from falling onto the hard ground so many times. "Who are you?" She was just filled with the basic questions--who, what, where...he looked so calm, walking up to a wounded, scared and panicky wolf such as herself. Maybe that was the thing that surprised her the most. "I'm not dead am I.." She deadpanned, looking around and picking up a bit of her mother's dark sarcasm. Nope, not dead. Still hurting.

His smile still in place he let the female rattle out her questions before lowering himself to the ground. He lay down calmly in front of her, his blood red eyes caressing her body and then coming back to rest upon her blue. Crossing his front two paws he stared at her a moment more and then choose to answer her, 'First answer; I increased the number of thrombocyte cells in the blood being supplied to the wound, which caused it to clot quicker and seal the wound from infection. Secondly I increased the production rate of various blood cells being produced by your bone marrow to quickly replace what you had lost through your wound.' He stared at her, his eyes searching hers for a reaction, his smile still in place.
He continued, 'Second answer; I am, as you should be able to tell, a male adult wolf.' again a spark danced upon his eyes, it was not something to inspire comfort. 'And lastly I am Haemon, the Shaman from the pack Reign of Terror.' All the while his smile remained, a slightly humourless curving of his upper lips.

The first set of comments seemed to go in one ear and out the other. She had no idea whatsoever what he had just said, nor did she figure she needed to--no more than he had just helped her wound heal, which was a curious subject indeed.
"W-well yes, I can see what you look like..." She said snarkily, smartass she thought to herself, a frown pulling at her maw while he finished up his explanations.
A shaman. She'd heard of seers, but never shamans. This made her very curious indeed. "Shaman...huh," she mused, her eyes never leaving his--those vermilion eyes just seemed to pierce right through her, but she didn't want to look away. Aitou wanted to be able to look through him as he did her...but currently, that was to no avail.
"Why did you heal me? I dont know you, and you certainly dont know me. I've never met someone who handed out free 'I'll save your a**' opportunities." Especially not wolves with packs...she was intruding, and now she was a little scared. Her fur bristled back up, despite him now lying in front of her...wait, shouldn't she be scared of him joining her like this? Was he making sure she was okay...? Gah! The blood needed to go back to her brain before she could think correctly...

The smile he worn turned into a malicious sort of grin as the female answered him, the sarcasm in her voice humoured him. She was full of bite this female, he liked that but it came at a price. He watched as the reddish fur about her eyes shrunk and the paler sandy toned marking lowered as a frown formed upon her brow.
'I believe you'd be more use alive to me than dead. I doubt you'd taste very nice, though I could always give you as a gift to my pack mate Valdis who enjoys eating the flesh of other wolves.' The tone of his voice wasn't a threatening growl as was to be expected, it remained as a creeping husky sort of whispered he used for most addresses.
Still those eyes remained fixed to her powder blue and then the grin broadened. 'But if you rather I hadn't...' His eyes slipped down to the gash on her shoulder and he began breaking down the platelets which had formed over the open tissue and allowed the blood to begin to flow again, slowly at first to allow her to understand the potential outcome of a meeting with himself.

Whether he meant it as a true threat or not she took it as one. Aitou's ears folded back against her skull firmly, and her expression sharpened at the idea of being fed to one of her own kind. It was a sick thought, and the churning in her stomach didn't make it any better.
Gasping the second the wound began to reopen the smaller female cringed and closed her eyes tightly, finally breaking the staring contest they had previously been having. "Not...saying I'm not thankful for your gift to me..." She hissed out, the warm blood dribbling down and over the previous trails that it had created in the first place.
The power behind this wolf--it all intrigued her. And now she knew he meant business. But she was too stubborn to accept that this was some 'get out of jail free' card. "You have a use for me, then...what is it you want from me?" Aitou said calmly, slowly, making sure her voice was steady despite the pain in her neck. Cracking her eyes back open, the muscles of her shoulder began to spasm on their own accord, which made her grit her teeth. One thing she despised--looking weak in front of anyone. And this stranger had the ability to make her strong, or make her writhe just by staring at her. Her long claws dug into the dirt while she straightened herself up, trying to relax herself as much as possible.

The grin remained for a moment more and then it slipped back to the original smile which had greeted the female. He watched her writhe for a bit, watching her bear the pain, her claws grasping the ground for some form of relief. She bore it well and he admired her for that and slowly as her eyes opened and focused back on his he could tell she knew he was not to be angered.
The smell of her blood was intoxicating but slowly he began to increase the level of the platelets once again, sealing the wound. Red eyes pierced threw her and he answered her, 'What I desire from you personally. Nothing, yet. Myself, I desire that my line be carried on, that my blood continues in the circle of life, I desire a mate.'
The female was hansom and she was strong willed. But he was regarded highly by the alpha within his pack and now Geri and Freki had joined the pack he himself would not leave, not while he could benefit. Would the female desire to call the pack her own, he did not know.

The pain began to subside again and she let out a light breath, eyes focused to Haemon's without hesitation. Usually this would be seen as a threat, a way to warn someone that they were going to attack them if they didn't back down. For some reason--she didn't have the urge to hurt him for his threats and what felt like blackmail. Not only because he could probably rip her wound back open, but she actually felt thankful that he'd healed her--even if he was using it to his advantage.
His blatant explanation of what he wanted--whether it was from her she didn't know--but she couldn't help but bark out a bit of a laugh.
"A mate? You crossed me as the kind of male that'd have a line of females at your heels," a little bit of sarcasm, but either way she meant it. He was strong, obviously could protect a family if one just so happened to pop up...and this pack of his sounded just as powerful as he did.
"You're going to trust a female you've never really met...you dont know my name, where I came from, or what I could possibly be..and bring me into your pack?" Had he actually asked her, or was he just musing to himself? This pack of his sounded interesting, and for some reason she found herself lured in by this Shaman. He was interesting, something to look further into. "...My name is Aitou, by the way," she murmured softly, looking down to the puddle of blood that had begun to sink into the dry earth, wondering how much more she'd need to lose before she ended up passing out.
"I guess I owe you a favor for doing this. So, if you need something from me specifically then name it."

'Aitou...' He grinned at her as he stored her name away to memory. Shifting a bit to avoid cramp in his hind legs he answered her, 'Perhaps I do have a few females to choose a mate from, but one more couldn't hurt.' A spark danced upon his eye and he winked at her in humour, though it would send a shiver up weaker wolves, it was a slightly unnerving gesture coming from such a wolf as he. 'Honestly, I have several female acquaintances but they are nothing more, not yet. As you have pointed out I do not know much about you, or the others. I want a mate for life and I will take my time finding her.' And if any of the females got bored or tired of waiting then so be it, he wanted someone who would desire him as much as he would in turn for them and who ever that would be, would wait.
His eyes always fixed to hers, always looking through her, now backed up a bit and he actually looked at her, 'From you, as I say, nothing yet. I would like to meet you again, you will find me in the Reign of Terror's pack lands, no harm will come of you should you try to find me, should you desire, I promise you that.' He would make a loyal mate and they would hold a high position within the pack next to him. He wondered if he'd see her again though. 'I will stay with until you feel ready to stand again, if you'd like?'

Though the pain was going away, she was still exhausted. Aitou had been running to intensely that she'd finally drained herself of energy...and even with the shaman's powers, it might take her a while to actually want to get up and wander anywhere. Especially to where ever this pack of Haemon's was.
"Dont blame you," she breathed, slowly lying her head down against her paws, body relaxing. Her ears lowered slightly, only because of her muscles un-tensing, Aitou's eyes remained settled to the other wolf's. Who wouldn't want a loyal, strong mate? That's what they were all seeking. She managed to chuckle, "Good to know you have a line of girls after you. I can see why you're so popular," slight sarcasm, but he was kind of creepy...he had to agree with that, didn't he? A grin tugged at her ebony lips.
"Where are these packlands of yours? To the north, east?" She guessed quietly, tiredly. As to why she felt so relaxed around him...well, if he hadn't wanted her to live, he would have killed her by now. That's that. Or, at least, in Aitou's mind that's how it all worked.
"You can stay if you feel like burdening yourself as a babysitter..." She muttered, feeling like a pup again. Slowly, the stubborn she-wolf began to raise to her feet--albeit shakily. A moment of struggle passed, and she was up, joints feeling like they were creaking under the light weight of her body. This just made her feel old.

Haemon remained where he was, laying on the ground, he barely had to raise his head to look at her in the eye as she stood above him. 'I do not mind waiting with you until your strong again, I would hate to see harm come of you after I have just made your acquaintance and more to the point spent some of my strength healthy you.' Though it really hadn't drained him much at all. He remembered times then that would haunt him forever, when he had worked alongside Geri and Freki torturing other wolves, that had drained him to the point of collapse. He blinked and then and came back to the present moment.
He dropped his eyes then and caught a slightly trembling in her legs, her muscles where tired and their was nothing he could do to aid her with that a part from slightly increase the levels of erythrocytes in her blood. Raising his eyes again he fixed them to her powder blue and then slowly began to rise himself, shadowing the female. 'You are not far from the pack lands and my den is somewhat on the edge of the territory. If you want a place to rest I would not mind you sharing it with me tonight.' He did not mean anything by this, just it gave her time to recover and him an opportunity to get to know her better. From the look of her she was a lone wolf anyway.

Honestly, she would not usually accept such things from strangers. The male hadn't quite gained her trust--if anything made her question it with his powers, the ability to heal her then rip her wound back open.
Taking in a slow, deep breath, she looked down at him when she felt his eyes scan over her. She was strong--she could do this. Aitou was a stubborn creature, no matter the circumstances.
However, when Haemon offered the den for her use...if she wanted it, and didn't mind staying with him, of course. This pack seemed a little shady, if nothing else, but from what she could tell from his personality, maybe it was just the creepy sort of pack with an undertone of calm.
Somehow, she had a feeling it wasn't like that.
"I...appreciate the offer," Aitou began, her legs finally settling beneath her, no longer trembling. "I dont mind your company..." Her eyes lifted to stare up at the shaman, once again surprised by how large he was, "S-so..if it's okay, I'd prefer to rest in the den," out in the open made her nervous. She'd learned to be that way when she was young. Dens, usually, meant safety. She just hoped she wouldn't be forced to run into other pack members, most packs she had managed to get caught by weren't too friendly towards a loner.

He chuckled slight, the sound seeming rather odd coming from him, almost humourless. 'I would not of offered it if it wasn't okay, would I now.' He stared off in the direction they were going to be headed and waited patiently for her to start walking, allowing her to set a pace she would be able to manage in her current physical state.
His thoughts then ran to that of the Alpha, he doubted he'd mind him bringing a female to his den and perhaps he would not even question his motives. He had yet to report back to him about his inability to find the run away slave, but everything came with time, right now he focused upon his own wants and desires.
He trusted the female to be able to look after herself should he have need to leave his den, he had evidence of that already, but he would not leave her long either way, as she had already pointed out, he did not truly know much about her.
