Simply because you don't conform.If you act like,or like things that the general population doesn't,you get label as a weirdo and people (for some screwed up reason) think thats a good reason to bash you and keep you separated.

pretty much its all to what the public wants to see and wants to hear if your different your a freak and they think its ok to screw with us thats why im an anarchist ^^ i say f**k those who arent different.

Some wish they could be like you or other people who also be themselves, jealousy rules some people, but others just hate those who dont do what they believe should be done.

I have the same attitude but the only difference is I still hold a small bit of hope for the system

well, for some strange reason it seems almost human nature to make fun of others. we're all at least a little insecure with ourselves, and because of that, we have to point out the flaws of others. sometimes, though, it's because they're jealous that they can't be as open with their differences. see, its also human nature to desire acceptance, and despite the fact that some of us say we only want acceptance for who we are, we still find it, and that's what makes us happy and secure with ourselves. it's a big society problem that stems from what people are.
or maybe people just suck. i kinda like that excuse better, cuz it's easier to say. haha

people fear what they don't understand. and they express hat fear through hate and cruelty.
Something I have discovered since I came out: Straight people hated me because I wasn't straight. And the gay people I went to school with hated me because I wasn't exclusively gay.
There are gays who hate transgenders because they feel those people took the cheap way out by becoming something else instead of embracing who they were born as.
There are also gays who really hate Drag Queens because they feel that Queens make the entire gay community look bad because they parody female singers and women in general and act overly flamboyant. So they think that the straight community judges them by the actions of a few people who "have too much fashion sense for one gender", as quoted by the great Noxeema Jackson (plays by Wesley Snipes) in "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything. --Julie Newmar".

lol yes im nerd but I have to use this quote cus its good Storm once said to Jubilee when she asked why to people hate us so much (us being mutants) and storm simply looked at her and said child people fear what they do not understand
