I just wanted to let everyone know that there a lot of horses in the path of the Station fire in CA. Rescues and Firefighters are working around the clock to get things under control. Please keep them in your thoughts.

yup. i live roughly...30? 40? mins away from it at the moment. the smoke is killer here. it sucks. (fire season sucks actually. i hope nothing springs up out my way, but its bound to.)

my barn's trailers weren't at the barn this weekend, so i'm guessing they're farming out our trailers to help with evacuations, like they usually do. i think they've set up an evac site at hansen dam eq center and at laec, but with the way the fire is going, laec isn't the first choice i believe. thankfully i think i heard the facilities at flintridge are alright as well. they've also been taking in horses at pierce college too. its been a crazy fire season already, and we're only at the beginning. ugghhh.
