HP: 24Oh Gods, oh Gods, oh Gods... how was he supposed to do this? How had he managed to get through the first round?
He wasn't a fighter. This was all a terrible mistake- he had thought the sky festival would be about birds. Birds made kids laugh... Why hadn't he been paying more attention?
There was nothing funny about this.
With his tail between his legs, Vtla approached, dreading another fight when the last one had gone so poorly. He'd almost lost. Bumping into others and flailing like an idiot was apparently not the best way to get things done. Who would have thought? And this lion he now stood before looked ready to go.
This would be a short fight.

Vtla was ready to go... kinda. He was nervous as hell and pretty sure he'd peed a little as he got into position, but aside from all of that: he was ready. Maybe the battle would be quick and painless. He could always surrender if things got too crazy. Same thoughts as the last match, naturally. The lion had no faith in his own fighting abilities.
Mostly because he was convinced he didn't HAVE any fighting abilities.
"Here I come!" he all but wailed, voice cracking slightly. Leaping forward, he brought his paw forward, knocking the other lion right in the nose.

-Just as he had in his first battle, Sahale stayed back, waiting for his opponet to make the first move. Due to his Ela bloodline the rogue before him was definately bigger.. but he also seemed.. jittery was it? Surely it would give him the upper hand.. being calm and collected.
Snorting as the blow stung his nose, Sahale pulled back swatting at the shoulder of the other male, taking advantage of how close he'd gotten. Perhaps that'd get him off balance a little.-

Vtla whimpered pathetically at the strike, almost ready just to give up after the hard hit landed and knocked him back. Managing, somehow, to keep himself on his feet, the large animal threw his paw again at the other male, closing his eyes as he did so.
It was a little desperate, the animal knew, but he never claimed to be the best fighter in the world.
His paw connected with the side of the lion's face, no claws leaving marks as Vtla was not aiming to make the other bleed. Good Gods, he would make the other so angry if something like that happened.

-The face again! He shook his head at the sting, trying to clear his mind and vision for his next attack. He supposed it was a good strategy, going for the face... much like going for the neck of prey. But nonetheless he didn't really like the sensation.
Swatting out in frusteration, he aimed too now for the other male's face, those his paw missed the middle, and simply grazed the cheek of the other. His tail lashed impatiently, soft rumble sounding low in his throat. He knew this was for 'fun', but he'd always been the competitive sort.-
