Ayla flapped her Silver wings swiftly, causing her to shoot through the sky. She looked like a shooting star if one was to glance up quickly. Though her son had indeed taught her how to bring large game down, it showed in her slightly muscular build. But now as she flew so fast through the sky, she felt frantic, searching for her son. He'd been gone for far too long now. What if he'd gotten hurt or lost...? She was determined to find him...
Lunar had fallen asleep with his wing covering Jay much like a sort of blanket. Since they'd finally gotten the courage up to tell each other how they truly felt, he'd gotten more protective of her. Though he was awake now, he remained in his laying position in case Jay was still asleep. He figured moving his wing could wake her too easily.

Selene charged through the forest at top speeds. Her daughter hadn't been in her cave, and neither did she answer to her many calls. Things, horrible things passed through Selene's mind. She tried to think better, her daughter was an adult now, she could take care of herself. But still that worrying ache in her heart wouldn't leave. Giving up on searching on foot, she took to the skies in one swift flap of her wings. Before she knew it, Selene was watching as a silver streak flew across the sky in front of her.
Jaya was nestled comfortably next to Lunar. She lay there with her eyes half open, but still felt a little sleepy. Her tail wrapped around his gently and she purred, turning her head to peer up at him with a small smile.

Ayla's ears pricked up as noises of breaking branches and movement caught her from below. Without a second thought she dove, incidentally ramming right into the other lioness. The force of the impact caused Ayla to spiral down and flop onto the ground. She lay on her side, waiting for her head to stop spinning.
Lunar nuzzled Jay's cheek lovingly as she looked up at him. "Hello beautiful..." He smiled as his paw moved to pull her closer, just nuzzling up to her. Being so close filled him wish such joy.

Selene had no idea what had happened, but she lay there on the ground. Her side throbbed with pulsing pain. Remembering the silver streak in the sky, she quickly gained her feet again in case she was among enemies. The world spun and she had to lean against a tree to stay upright, her vision was blurry as she tried focusing on the lioness. "You're Ayla. . . Lunar. Where is he? Where's Jaya?" Selene asked, as she recognized the lioness.
Jaya nuzzled him back affectionately and licked his cheek, "Hey yourself big boy." She snuggled up against him, as he pulled her closer. Everything felt so much safer with him, and since the day they had both confessed their feelings for each other, she never wanted to leave him. Jay brought one paw up to stroke his silver mane and turned her head so she was staring into those mezmerizing blue eyes of his. "Can we stay like this all day?" she asked, her tone was soft and loving, but had hint of morning sleepiness.

Ayla held her head in her paws as she sat up, peaking at the other lioness from one eye. "Ugh...your Selene then..." Staggers to a standing position, then moves closer, still trying to shake off the affects of the collision. Once she felt her head would not split open, seeing as she literally landed on her head, she spoke again. "No...I'm looking for him...he's been gone for far too long..."
Lunar chuckled a bit, returning the lick affectionatly. He took this moment to move a hind leg that had fallen asleep, then nodded softly. "Sure we can. There's no rush." The fact that she was so bubbly and flirtatious only served to attract him further. It was rather cute to him.

Selene shook her head, trying to get the dizzy to subside if only for a moment. Finally feeling as though she wouldn't fall over her own feet, she glanced around and moved a couple of feet toward Ayla, "That's correct. Jayashri had been missing too for a while now. She isn't in her own cave and she - well you get the point," Selene took a couple more unsteady steps to the right to peer around Ayla. "Well seeing both of our children are missing, do you want to look for them together?"
Jaya purred and snuggled up to him, feeling the warmth from his body surround her. She felt safe and relaxed with him and she was able to be more of herself than the good lioness her parents had taught her to be. "Good, because I like us this way," she gave another purr then moved one wing to stretch it. It felt stiff from still being asleep. "I wonder, what should we do today my love?"

Ayla nodded, shaking herself as if to try and rid herself of dizziness. Finally feeling normal, aside from a bruise forming on her shoulder from the impact, she ran, taking to the air once more. "There is one other spot Lunar used to go to...the spot near that hole he got his head stuck in...Let us try there and pray we find both of them...probably just chatting..."
Lunar nuzzled her cheek, purring rather happily. He'd never felt such joy before, and now he had began forming a plan to sort of "propose" to his lover. Though for now, it would wait. "We could rest for a while longer, then go for a dip and get a bite somewhere. Anything with you really..." After saying that he nipped Jay's ear affectionatly.

"I hope that's all they're doing," Selene said with a sigh. She wouldn't know what to do or think if her daughter had gone against her commands. "But what if-? Nah, maybe they're just playing like they had that one day?" Selene suggested, though she knew the confidence in that was blunt and false. She could feel a lump forming on her and ignored how it stung as she walked a few feet, then looked back at Ayla. "It's this way right?"
"That sounds lovely! Hmm, maybe we could go out and have a flight among the stars tonight!" Jay smiled and rubbed up against his body. A shiver of joy ran through her at the sound of his purr. She gave a squeak at the unexpected n** and purred, as she rolled around to face him. Jay licked his cheek and snuggled up to him. "I could follow you to the ends of the world!"

"You don't think..." Ayla hurried past the other lioness hearing voices, stopping and freezing in place watching as her son nipped Selene's daughter. Anger rose in her chest until she couldn't hold it back as she let out a roar and ran over. "LUNAR! What are you doing?! Why are you nipping this lionesses neck?! And why are you letting her lick you?!"
Lunar stared at his mother horrified, her words smacking him as if she'd slapped him across his snout. Never in his life had his beloved mother screamed or roared at him...until now. He stood over Jay protectivly, glaring at his mother angrily. "You just relax Mother. I love Jay with all my heart. You have no right to come here and yell at me."

Selene's eyes grew wide, as she charged after Ayla and came only seconds after to find her daughter and Lunar together. She was bewildered and angry. Confusion arose and her expression turned mean, "Never in my life had I ever thought you would disobey me!" she hissed in rage. Selene heard Lunar's words and turned her gaze to him, then back to Jaya. "We're leaving right now Jayashri! Come!" Her commands were scolding and held power in that angry tone.
Jaya had no idea what to do. First it was Ayla, then it was her own mother! Oh how this was embarrassing! She shrank under Lunar and stayed close to him, knowing he wouldn't let anything bad happen. Jay was going to listen to her mother, but then something clicked. She stood up and puffed out her chest, ready to backsass her mother. "I am an adult now. I'm quite able to make my own decisions, and I want to stay with him. Forever. I love him!" she said calmly, but with cofidence. Jaya stood by his side loyally and felt his strength give her enough to stand up to her mother.

Ayla stood rigid, hackles raised as her son disobeyed her. Telling her what to do to her face. Since losing her mate and other son she'd clung to him and given him everything. Now he stood there and so easily refused to do as she said. "We are leaving now Lunar! Your love isn't real. It is just infatuation! One day you'll wake up and she'll be gone!"
Lunar growled, glaring at both Mother's now. One of his star covered wings draped over Jay as she stood next to him, standing up for herself as he was. No matter the cost, he'd never let Jay go. "I'm not leaving Jaya. And she'd never leave, just as I wouldn't. You mate might've dumped you in a ditch Mother...but you are not me! Don't dump your past on us and say things you don't know. If you cannot be happy I have finally found somebody that loves me...then you can just leave!!"

Selene glared at her daughter, a fire in her eyes. "I will get your father if you do not come now!" she spit the words, her hair standing on end. If need be, she'd fight to bring her daughter home. Since both of her cubs had grown and left the den, she feared the worst and only wanted what was best for them.
Jaya frowned at both of the Mothers and stood her ground with Lunar. Having him there made it easier. She nuzzled him and purred, letting him know she loved him no matter what. She wouldn't let the two lionesses standing in their way now, break them apart. "I love him Ayla, I'd never leave him. I swear it! And mother. It'd take a lot to make me leave, and I'd rather die than ever be without him again!"

Ayla froze as her expression became more of pain than anger. Her shoulders drooped as her ears pressed flat to her head, tears filling her eyes. "Lunar, how dare you?? Don't talk to me that way...I..." Memories of her ex and her lost son hit her as if Lunar had struck her. She padded over to him, back pawed his snout, turned and left, her sobbing audible.
Lunar started to feel sorry for his words, almost walked over to her and comfort his Mother. But then she hit him. A storm raged in his eyes as she flew away. He had no intention of following her, his life and love was here, and that would never change. "So be it...but I'm staying...." Her paw had left a mark as little droplets of blood trickled down his cheek.

Selene was about to scold her daughter again but was stunned as Ayla backpawed her son. Never in a million years would she do that to her daughter, but it was all the same. She felt sorry for both Ayla and Lunar. Selene saw how hurt the lioness was and wanted to fly after her to comfort her. Instead she let her expression soften before she turned to leave. "I'll always love you. Don't forget that," she said quietly over her shoulder. "Ayla! Wait!" she called taking flight.
Jaya didn't know what to do or say. Were those going to be her mother's last words to her? Forever? Jay hoped not. Even though she was mad with her mother, she still wanted her to be apart of her life. Jay turned to Lunar and nuzzled underneath his chin, "Are you all right my love?" she asked in a softened voice.
