It's been talked about here adn there so I figured it was finally time to make a thread just for talk of this.
-spoiler about other people besides Light who have used the Death Note below-
Remember, we aren't just talking about Light here. We also have Misamisa, Yagami-san, Higuichi, and Mikami. Even Taro from the pilot!

That picture is damn awesome.
Uh...
We know that a person who uses the Deathnote neither goes to Heaven or Hell as well. Ryuuku tells us that in the beginning.
It could be possible that users actually become Shinegami when they die, and end up in the Death God rhelm. confused

Naota is dead set on that picture being Light... I think it looks a bit like Teru too myself.
If you pay attention to it though, besides normal human skin that could also be Remu's and Ryuuku's skin too (color wise and all).

Light being a shinigami... he'd be a very busy one, as would Teru.
If Teru got to be a shinigami though... oh my no... That would be bad. He'd probably kill nearly every human on earth!

Sweet, I was looking everywhere for that picture *-* I don't know who Teru is [I've still got some reading to do, obviously xD] so I can't say if it resembles him or not, but the hair seems far too dark and too long to be Light's. The patches of skin do seem to be the same colors as Rem's and Ryuk's skin; that's pretty interesting... But whoever it is, his pants are hot heart
[EDIT] Yeah, that guy looks way more like Mikami than he does Light o.o

pigeon-wing pengu graven ok which chapteer does yagamisan use it? *nods* I seem to remember Ryuk saying something about how because Yagami-san didn't use the Death Note to kill anyone, he'd go to heaven.

Wuu I hope this is a mystery that we will eventually find out as the manga progresses. Perhaps with the death of Light wink *hopes* possibly misa? meh? who thinks shell die, i mean with 1/4 of her life left.... cool and she hasnt been involved that much in the second arc whee she'll be all "but raito why dont you remember me" *glompage* in her shinigaminess cool i cant wait to see raitos face after that cool

[EDIT] Yeah, that guy looks way more like Mikami than he does Light o.o His pants are definitely hot... if only we could see Mello dressed in such a way... and Near, L, Light... even Matsu-chan!
