Kuro is around 5'9" in height. This shinigami is rather handsome and muscular yet slim in body build. He has shoulder length jet black hair that is usually disheveled. His eyes are a shade of deep crimson and are usually surrounded by dark circles from his lack of sleep. He wears the same black uniform required by shinigami along with a long black haori with the inside being red, the tail of this haori is ripped and torn, battle worn from his many fights. A white sash remains wrapped around his waist, the two ends draping down from the middle of his waist.
Accessories:
A black pocket watch with a silver crescent moon on the lid that is brilliantly designed, appearing beautiful and elegant. The clock itself is designed with golden arms and a silver second hand. The face of the watch is surrounded by black intricate numbers and the same symbol in the center that is tattooed on Kuro's right wrist.
Personality:
Kuro is rather carefree and lazy. He is, however, strong willed and when he is presented a challenge or a job he will always get it done with the best of results. Kuro is a prodigy as well as a genius. Though he hides it most of the time he has a rather huge ego that causes him to be power hungry, driving him to always fight to become the best at everything.
Bio/History:
Kuro was born in a small town in Japan in 1906. As he grew older he began developing spiritual awareness, allowing him to see vague images of spirits that walked the earth. At the age of eleven, he and his parents were walking down a dark deserted road when they were attacked and brutally murdered by a group of unknown people. When Kuro awoke, his parents were dead and their spirits were no where in sight. He then turned only to see his own body lying beside him. It was then that a young man dressed in a black kimono approached him. This was a shinigami whose purpose was to send souls to another world known as the Soul Society. Kuro closed his eyes as the young man performed the soul burial. When he opened his eyes he was standing in a section of what appeared to be a community. He later learned that this was called the Rukon district. Kuro was now alone and had to do anything to stay alive and survive by himself. Over time he grew stronger and more cunning. He soon knew the streets of the Rukon like the back of his hand. It wasn't long before he began making friends with the other children of these streets. They would hang out, having fun and causing mischief. His closest friend was a young girl with blond hair that always remained tucked behind her ears. She was shy yet fun. Her name was Hana and over time Kuro fell in love with her. Many years later, Kuro decided he would become a shinigami in order to help the world and the people within it. Hana begged him not to leave but Kuro knew that he had to. A few days before the start of the Academy year Kuro received a message telling him that Hana had been killed, all the evidence pointing to that of a hollow attack. Kuro vowed to get his revenge on these creatures that had taken her from him. He would grow stronger so that he could protect everyone he loved so that no one would suffer like that again.
