All right. This is the area where you create your very own duelist. We're not going to ask for a whole bunch of personal information -- background stories and details like that are better when revealed through the roleplay itself. The process of creating a duelist is simple. Simply take a look at the list below, then fill in the information and post it in this thread. If you would like your duelist to be added into the banner on the front page, please create a tektek avatar of them and send them to Luna di Luce, or ask her to do one for you.
Not sure what a term means? Ask a moderator or look at other duelist profiles. You can organize these bits of information however you like, turn it into a character description sheet-thing, just make sure you finish filling out all sections. Go on, give it a little flair!
Note: if you really want to play as a canon character, or a relative of a canon character, please contact a moderator beforehand for their permission. Also, we're in need of a villain and some henchpeople. PM Luna di Luce for details if you're interested.
Furthermore, as there has been some confusion, this roleplay is not linked with the 5 D's story arc. Therefore, those wanting to be signers/dark signers/whatever else will have to make a different choice regarding character creation. We're simply using this generations new rules and cards, nothing more. If you wish to roleplay during the 5 D's story arc, feel free to make your own roleplay thread. I apologize for not making this clear from the get-go.

Deck Type: Calls her deck "Hat Trick"; uses spellcaster-type monsters primarily that make good use of spell-counters.
Partner Monster: Arcane Apprentice
Trilby is, most likely, one of the smallest duelists one will ever see, standing at an amazing 4'6". She is eccentric, outgoing, and puts on quite a show during her duels with a small display of minor feats of magic. She doesn't necessarily mind losing, though her win record is quite impressive (except the fact that she keeps losing to the same person over and over). Fascinated by magic, she hopes to one day become a famous magician.

Partner Monster: Armageddon Knight In the age of 6, he was promise to never touch a Duelist Card ever in his life. His parents told him it was a great danger and you'll be in a gang, they were a Domino City Police. Then right before his 7th birthday, before the clock hit 12:00 his parents died from trying to capture Card thieves. then around 7:00 on his birthday, a card fell down out of no-where. It gave him confidence to solo, and wanted him to go to tourneys, to win Prize money to make a nice grave for his parents. Now 13, He joined Duelist Haven.

While he is usually very aggressive, he also likes to draw out the duel to see his opponent's skills. Duelist Name: Eizaku Fujiwara Age: 14 Physical Appearance:  Deck Type: Hand Sacred Crane Control Partner Monster: Sacred Crane Eizaku loves to see everything's perfect. When he wants to achieve something, his focus is just unbelievable, especially in duels. Eizaku's style while dueling is drawing a lot while also mantaining control over the field. Due to this, he can pull out some nasty combos with a lot of cards.
