Pilate, usually a kind soul, still had alot of playful behaviors. She was also a hunter. While she could be kind and nice to feline and canine folk, she was far from that to what she hunted and considered food. A good soul yes, just NOT when it came to those beneath her.
Now she was accompanied by Rush, a leopard she'd met at the watering hole some time earlier in the day. He'd wanted to leave the watering hole, and so now the two were on a pointless journey to some where in Africa unknown. Go epic team go!
Really, Pilate was used to wandering the plains of Africa and usually never had a destination in mind. So now she was leading Rush around in a pointless path.
That was until she spied something hooved. A playful grin spread out on her maw. The radioactive cheetah looked back at her companion and winked sinking low to the ground.

Ruu'sh never really had a plan in mind; truly the rogue life was for him. He hadn't met too many, he's usually kept alone, to his dismay. He hated being alone. He dreamed of leading a pride one day, a league under his wing to follow his rules. That would be nice, wouldn't it? A pointless dream it had seemed. So far away.
For now, he was traveling with Pilate, the cheetah he randomly met at the local watering hole. Their destination? Unknown, really. He just told her he'd follow.
He had hardly got her message when she'd slunk down into a hunter's crouch, yet he followed, paws stepping light as a feather. What were they stalking again?... Start paying attention, Ruu'sh!

Pilate gave him a nod and pointed with her paw to a few gazelle off a little ways away from them. Hopefully he'd get the message.
Those fat fish from earlier had been enough for the cheetah, she had no intent on killing these gazelle. No, she wanted to chase them. Just for the fun of it.
Yeah, Pilate had no feelings for those that she ate and probably never would. One of the leopards she'd met earlier in her life had eaten lions. In a way she still didn't understand it but everyone had their ways right? Her's was to eat things with hoofs and some time annoy the crap out of em. The cheetahs tail lashed as she watched the approaching Gazelle.
Steady... steady.

Ruu'sh blinked at the gazelle the cheetah pointed to, his eyes narrowing into slits at it approached closer and closer. He didn't move an inch, with his belly pressed to the ground and paws ready to spring.
Unaware of his feathered necklace close to his nose, he winced. And winced again, trying to fight the urge to sneeze.
"..Ah..ah...AH..ACHOO!"
..Uh-oh.

Pilate's eyes widened, he had sneezed and the Gazelle had probably heard that. Taking a look ahead, indeed the gazelle had heard it and... were still coming this way? What the?
Pilate backed up slowly. Those gazelle seemed pretty pissed. Were they ... charging.
"R-RUN!" She got up and bolted the other way, "RUSH RUN!" She cried.
Those Gazelle looked pissed.

His eyes widened as he felt a gush of wind and fur fly past him. Oh wait. That was Pilate.
Upon hearing her cry, and seeing the obviously pissed off gazelle, he took off after her, very much disappointed in himself. What if that was a meal he needed to survive? He'd totally flunk that test.

Those gazelle were out for blood man, and usually gazelle were so docile and easily spooked. Never had Pilate been around ones that CHARGED. Looking back at Rush she gave him an awkward grin. Who knew just a sneeze would set those horned beasts off.
Cheetah's could not climb trees but they could run. Leopards were the tree climbers. Lucky for Rush Pilate was barreling as fast as she could towards one.
The bastards of Gazelle were hot on their trails. Pilate could out run em all day though if she wanted to.
"NAH NAH NAHAAAA NAAAAA~ Take that you bastards!" The cheetah cried to the gazelle in her dust.

Trees? Oh right. He can climb!
With the gazelle hot on his trail, he darted for the nearest tree he could find; a skinny little thing, barely enough to hold a leopard..but who cares! He easily launched to the first branch and then the second before making a little hop to the third.
Looking down, he mockingly stuck his tongue out at the gazelle and swished his tail. "Hahaha!"

It would seem she lost half the herd some where around where she'd left Rush with the tree.
Still she had about three or four hot on her trail. The damn hoofed things, she was supposed to be chasing them. The cheetah quickly did a U turn and sprinted as fast as she could in a semi circle until she was behind the four.
"Miss me boys?" She gnashed her teeth in their direction. Yeah, she could be mean if she wanted too.
The gazelle snorted at her but didn't turn around to charge back at her. Heh, served them right.
It would seem the four of em lost interest in her at least. Good thing too cause Pilate needed to catch her breath. The cheetah looked back over at Rush, watching him taunt the gazelle.

The gazelle looked angry, very angry. It began ramming the lone tree with a good enough force to send Ruu'sh clinging to a branch.
So much for graceful gazelle!
He stared--wide eyed down at the ground, clinging to dear life. He had even forgotten about Pilate. Was..she alright?

Pilate watched as the Gazelle started to ram the small twig of a tree. Damn, what was up their asses? Weren't they supposed to be the ones terrorizing them? How'd this happen?
Oh right, Pilate picked the group of CRAZY gazelle.....
The cheetah got to her feet and charged. Her teeth gnashing the whole time she charged. It had worked for the last group.... maybe it'd for for these bastards too.
Someone was gonna pay after all for all this running . Pilate was working up a hunger.

The gazelle paused, turning their heads to Pilate with a 'deer-in-the-headlights' stare. It wasn't long before they got the message to run or be eaten; they instantly scattered among the brush, running to freedom.
Meanwhile, Ruu'sh's ears perked at the sound of a breaking branch.
"Oh shi-"
He didn't have time to finish before he landed with a thud on the ground, or what he -thought- was the ground. It seemed kinda furry to be dirt though...

Pilate stopped charging right under Rush. Hmph served those gazelle right. Before Pilate could do any sort of victory dance she was pinned to the ground and having trouble breathing. The cheetah looked up.
Rush?
"I know that you must be comfy up there but would you mind.." The cheetah could not get up with him on top of her. He was so heavy. Leopards and lions were generally huge compared to cheetahs. Pilate never thought they were heavier though. Never was a thought that came to mind.
But here was Rush on top of her and she couldnt moove.

Ruu'sh's ears swiveled as he heard a familiar voice. He blinked and raised a paw, looking down at the squished cheetah with wide eyes.
"Gah! I'm sorry!" He cried, then squirmed off of her and shook himself off. What a fall.

Owwwie, being locked under a full grown leopard was not fun. Specially being fallen on top of.
"Thanks," Pilate managed to say as she helped her self up on to all fours. "DUDE DID YOU SEE ME? I totally ran them off. I was like RAWR and they were like WHOAH! And I was like GRRRR"
Yeah, Pilate was quick to recover.
