Anyone bored? Lets have some fun shall we? *No, not that kind of fun >_<*
If you want gold, just keep posting, anyone notice how they made the cost of posting higher? Wonder what would happen if the Gaia economy crashed... That would be interesting to see.

Jenovah The Calamity Out of curiosity, any one here from Washington state? I just moved here, all the way from New Hampshire. I'm from Indiana. So no. I hope Gaia's economy doesn't crash. Then all my pretty items wouldn't be worth anything!

If it crashed, we'd need Gaibama to save us.

I really could care less if the Gaia economy crashed, just because a) I'm a hoarder, so I never sell even the most worthless of things unless I have multiples. b) there is nothing woeful about the virtual price of virtual items for virtual gold getting screwy.
Through artificial inflation, people are already messing with the Gaia economy anyway. Remember when you could pick up an MC for 6k on the market within a few days of it's release? Now it starts at 80k-ish and floats down to 30k. People are already raping the economy for the profit of, uh, nothing. Really. A number on the screen.

Well, in all fairness, when you could pick up an MC for 6k, 6k was worth a lot more. And I don't think it's users who are raping the economy. Gold is pouring into the Gaia economy, especially through things like the cash shop, and not being taken out. That's what's causing the inflation.

C- We have a class system that mirrors the one in real life America. As the middle Class Gaians (IE the ones that made smart invents and such) are slowly becoming just like the newbie poor. As they can't catch a break. However yes it would be fun to see if it did in fact crash. However Gaia would have to release CS, Ei, and RIGS pretty aggressively for that to happen. I'm talking on the hour not just a few times a week. Also if gold was just shat out in en mass as well. Like when they had that Sour Patch glitch that told dozens of Gaians they won 1 million gold. Something like that has to happen. Or much like 1929 demand has to drop to negative number (IE a boycott of some type) Damn now I want crash the system.

I mean, most Gaians aren't mean to people who are poorer than them or something. It's true that people who have been around longer tend to be richer, but that's just common sense. Are you going to single handedly bring down the Gaian economy?

That's what's causing the inflation. Nope, the majority of inflation is artificial. One or two people price something on the market 50k+ish more than it's worth, and everyone else follows suit because they think that's the price now. Something worth 20k is now worth 80k. Because of one guy, abouts.
