The sun had set just below the horizon, the sky starting to turn to a deep twilight. the khaki coloured lion padded across the pride lands, his home lands, they had become much more crowded of late, it was a good thing, though his dreams still often confused him, but at the end of another day he knew that there wasn't much time before he would once again dream. It had been a day of spontaneity, which had confirmed he wasn't dreaming, but now he knew his dream was going to take a part of his life again, sitting upon the slight rise in the landscape he looks out over the softly lit world in which he belonged and waited.
He knew soon enough someone would appear and he would strike up a conversation, he never quite knew how the conversations would go, others could change, the future could change with a slight change of a personalities mind, all he knew was that it was a female whom would approach him.
He smiled a little, watching the sky turn from red and gold to deep midnight blue, the start twinkling in to life., glassy green eyes smiled, another day in his home gone another day made real by those he met.

Shangilia was not wandering to meet others; or at least, that wasn't her intention. She was wandering to explore her new home, taking in every rock and blade of grass in order to memorize the layout and familiarize herself with her surroundings. It was something she had done all her life; every morning she would take stock of herself, and then she would take in her environment. In order to notice anything amiss, of course, she had to know the land as she knew herself and that took investigation.
As mentioned, it wasn't her intent to meet anyone, and yet when faced with the opportunity it seemed the right thing. After all, she was a pride lion now, wasn't she? And with being in a pride came a social nature she had to reacquaint herself with.
What misfortune it was that she should happen upon a male as soon as this new resolve struck her. All the same, game for a challenge, she stopped a short distance from him and followed his gaze to the sunset as her hindlegs folded beneath her. Curling her tail around her forepaws, she weighed her options before offering up a short greeting without even really looking at the lion, "Hello."

Abiona stayed looking at the sunset as she spoke, he neither smiled nor blinked, watching as the sky fell in to it's darkness, it would almost seem like he would never reply to the femme, almost seem like he was going to simply be rude and ignore the simple hello, but as the first stars dotted the sky he whispers his own form of greeting.
"I have been waiting for you bird marked." It was a simple if somewhat cryptic answer which caused him to turn at last from his sight seeing and lay watery green eyes upon the chocolate brown lioness. His gaze instantly flickered to her shoulder and he smiled a quick, flicker of a smile. His dreams were never wrong, occasionally upset, but never completely wrong.
Setting himself down before the lioness he bowed his dark, muddy coloured mane before lifting his head, his eyes, though pointed in her direction, didn't really seem to look directly at her, finding the near distance more palatable to the eyes perhaps.
"My name is Abiona. Earth clan, it is a pleasure to meet you." He whispers, his voice almost lost with a passing breeze, or maybe his voice was the passing breeze? It was sometimes hard to distinguish between the two.

Lia arched a single brow ridge at his words, crimson eyes darting toward him though she didn't turn her head. What in the world? Her tail lashed across the ground and then flicked a few times before settling around her paws once again. She was unaccustomed enough to speaking to mails, she hoped this one wasn't prone to riddles.
His quick glances gave her cause to turn her own eyes towards the sky, though her gaze narrowed a bit in suspicion when she caught his flickering smile in her peripheral vision. When he settled himself nearer to her, her tail gave an agitated flick and her shoulders tensed imperceptibly before forcibly relaxing as he spoke.
Her brows arched impossibly further up her forehead, claws kneading the dirt beneath her as she resisted the urge to snort. Instead, she remained civil as she replied, "Shangilia, of the Mantis Clan. Pleasure to meet you, as well."

The khaki coloured male turned his gaze momentarily upon Lia, he didn't often look directly at people, he had an odd fear he might see something about them he didn't like if he did so. Usually the distance was a much safer option, but the feeling of upset caused him to draw his eyes towards her.
"I apologise, I didn't mean to upset you." He whispers, his voice always barely above the breeze, a part of it almost. "I meant to greet you in a much more respectable way but sometimes my lips answer before my brain can thing." He smiles a watery smile turning his gaze once again slightly to the left of the lioness.
"Your clan, it has only just been rekindled, you must be proud to be in such a position of honour, a new member to the re-established tribe." He smiles again, though this time the smile was aimed at the horizon, though it was certainly meant for her.

At that she did snort, paws ceasing their movement as her tail curled around to lay across her feet. She felt stung; like any surly young lioness, she didn't like others assuming her moods. She met his gaze, unintentionally challenging in her movements, but her temper was up.
"I'm not." It was meant without question, almost daring him to refute her before his gaze slid off her again. She wasn't going to comment on his greeting; there wasn't anything for her to say about it.
"I am." She spoke shortly and abruptly, clipping her words, before she realized that perhaps that deserved a more thought out response. Pressing her lips together for a moment, she added, "It's an honor to join the pride at all, and only greater so that I'd be trusted with 'rekindling' a clan."

Abiona felt quite surprised that she was angry, but then, he had expected it, this day had changed in a few ways, somehow how dreams could not change personalities of creatures or that they could change their minds, only the general idea of what would happen in any conversation could be portrayed, the future, he knew, wasn't set in stone.
"It is indeed an honour to join this place, I came here a while ago as a lost adolescent looking for a place to call home. We are blessed with this place." He chuckles slightly letting a gentle sigh roll over his lips.
"May I say your marking is very beautiful?" He whispers, his eyes still resting on the near distance rather than directly upon her, "I have never seen such a stunning mark before."
