[17:59] Well, the outer casing of a standard uniform is similar to a modern BDU, but softer, and tougher.
[18:00] Actually, having these as two seperate layers would be useful, allowing for the pilot to simply take off the standard jacket and pants and be in uniform for flying.
[18:00] And for a marine, the combat armor fits over the uniform, creating a third layer.

Terran Uniform:
Layer one: A black or navy blue jumpsuit which goes all the way to the wrists, neck, and ankles. The jumpsuit exerts mechanical pressure on a body when exposed to vacuum, allowing a human body to remain undamaged from the experience. used in conjucntion with a pair of special gloves and boots. The gloves can give mechanical pressure, but allow for full range of motion.
Boots: Black fireproof, waterproof, vacuum-sealed. They have a heavy steel toe which protects the wearer's toe and gives extra strength to a kick.
Layer two: A green uniform jacket, with 2 front pockets, 2 side pockets, and 3 internal pockets. it zips shut and seals, making it waterproof. it is also fire resistant. The material is lightweight, soft, tough, and breathable.
A pair of green pants. two front pockets, two butt pockets, two thigh pockets.
Belt: synthetic leather, with a holster for a pistol, a small cable, a communicator holster, and a canteen holster. It also has a flashlight and a slot for a standard rifle battery. it also holds the standard terran combat knife.
Combat knife: Duratanium, monomolecular edged, serrated utility knife with a hidden compartment in the hilt which holds matches, water-purifying tablets, and a compact emergency blanket. Blade length: 8 inches, full length: 14 inches.
