Character name: Till Kruspe Applying for: Nurse/Doctor RP-sample: (This is my history that I wrote for my character. It is not my thoughts or feelings, it is my characters. I am not Anti-Semitic or anything of that sort) Quote: Ric opened his eyes and looked up at the blank ceiling. The day he dreaded for quite some time had finally arrived. This would be his first day of this school year. Something told him that today was not going to be a good day, but he ignored the feeling. No matter what feeling he felt, Ric had to go to school. His mother had pleaded and guilted him into enrolling yet again, though the school didn't exactly want him back. The year before was not exactly the best year for him. The education here was dumbed down to Ric and it annoyed him to be learning about things he felt were "petty" and "unnecessary". Instead of applying himself to his studies like a good American boy, he began to mentally and torture his teacher. Twisting things words and phrases that seemed harmless to everyone else, the teacher became an emotional wreck. She was related to a Jewish woman who had been killed in one of the concentration camps, so torturing her was easy for Ric. Phrases such as "It's hotter than an oven" or "Does anyone else smell gas in here?" brought the woman to tears on some days. She had no idea that Ric purposly was breaking her with these words, so she never lashed out at him. However, administrators at the school noticed what was triggering her random outbursts of sobs and began forcing Ric to go to the office. At some points, he would recieve a paddle to the behind, but that only fueled his maniacle torture against his teacher. At the end of the year, the woman still did not understand what went on, but she quit her job as a teacher and ended up hanging herself from the guilt of letting her loved one die. Ric pivoted on his bed and swug his legs so that his rather large feet touched the wooden flooring of his room. The room itself wasn't very large, but it was extremely clean and tidy. Ric hated when things were out of place or dirty. Even coming out of a nights sleep, his bright blonde hair was slicked back with two small strands of hair hovering over his eyes. "Get up, you don't want to miss the bus. Walking the first day would make you look poor, and I will not allow you to ruin the image that I have been working so hard to improve of this family." His mothers voice rang in his ear drums like a pestering fly, digging in deep so that it was impossible to ignore. "Da." Ric mumbled, still trying to bring himself together from his nights sleep. Not even a second after he replied, his mother paced into the room and reached her hand up high into the air. A thud could be heard all through the house as her hand connected with the back of her sons head. "What are you doing?" His eyes looked up to a very flustered looking mother. "I told you, do not speak like that anymore. You are not allowed to." Ric snickered and arose from his bed. "I'm sorry that I refused to be ashamed of my superiority over these pathetic excuses for humans." Her hand was raised again, but it slowly lowered. She finally came to understanding that no matter how many times she hit him, he would continue doing what he was doing. "Get dressed and go to school." She left his room and strutted into the kitchen. And I thought today was going to be bad. That's one more win for Mother German over Mother Traitor. He snickered again as he put on his school clothes and walked out the door of the small home the family currently resided in. The school that he enrolled in was small, but packed filled with people of many ethnicities and religions. The only thing that Ric felt that the Americans did right was that they seperated the colored people from the normal schools. In Germany though, they wouldn't of even given them schooling. Walking up to the old wooden doors, he took a deep breath and sighed. Swinging the door open, he strolled down the hall with a smile across his face. Nobody knew of his true ideals or mindset, so nobody really had a problem with him. Truthfully, quite a few people adored him. This was found to be annoying to Ric sometimes, but other times it worked out in his favor. As much as he disliked Americans, he sometimes grew lonely and wanted someone to talk to. He found that some of the girls at the school weren't too bad at all, some even resembling the beautiful German girls back in Germany. Finally reaching the classroom that he was told to go to, he quietly opened the door and slipped inside the class. He ended up being late to school because he refused to get on the bus. The drivers nose was a bit too big for Ric's tastes and he decided to walk to school. The only open seat in the rows of desks was the one all the way in the back of the middle row. Again, Ric felt like today was turning out to be another great day. Sitting down in his new desk, he looked to the right and saw that he was sitting next to a rather beautiful blonde girl. Her hair was a bit darker than Ric's, but he didn't mind that at all. Her skin was a milky white and her shirt couldn't of been any tighter. Ric released a smile that he had not shown since coming to America. Today really couldn't get any better. "Hello, might I ask your name?" His voice was low, but as smooth as ever. She giggled lightly and looked down for a moment. "Anna." Ric's eyes met hers and he noticed she also had the perfect blue eyes, matching his own. "Such a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl. My name is Heinrich, but you can call me Ric." She smiled and nodded, then looked back to the front of the room. A tint of red ran across her face, showing that his flirting was a success. This truly felt like the best way the day could of ended up being. After class, Ric waited for the beautiful girl to pack up her things, and then began walking with her down the hall. She went on about herself, saying that she actually came from Germany. This excited Ric more than her amazingly beautiful body. To find another German on the first day of school, let alone a beautiful one, was only the best of luck. It seemed that God was truly smiling down on him today. Walking down the street, she told him that she needed to run by the local shop so that she could pick up some things for dinner tonight. Ric decided to go with her, rather than go directly home and be pestered by his mother about how his day had went. Standing outside the shop, he awaited for her to finish up. Walking by, a Rabbai was strolling along the sidewalk. Disgusted, Ric spat on the Rabbai's foot. The devils smirk reached across his face as the Rabbai looked up at him. Not wanting to cause trouble, the man walked on. As soon as the Rabbai was out of sight, Anna emerged from the shop. Ric took his place next to her and began walking on. After a few moments of awkward silence, Ric smiled at her and slipped a finger into the bag and peered into it. "So, what's for dinner tonight?" Various spices and items were in the bag, but one of them stood out the most. "Why did you buy kosher items? All of them are kosher..." Anna smiled and took one of the spices out. "Why do you think I bought them? I'm Jewish." Ric's heart was erased from existance. This beauty that he was spending time with... was a Jew... A dirty Jew... Ric lost the smile that he had been showing to her each time she was looking at him. "Ric?" Anna stopped for a moment and looked at him. "Do you want to stop by my home for a bit? I think it'd be easier to talk there?" The words just stumbled out of his mouth, but he understood fully what they meant. "Sure." Her gentle gleam returned and they walked to Ric's house. The young pair walked into the home and Ric looked around. The house itself was small, so looking around didn't take more than a few seconds. Nobody was home. Anna placed the bag on the table and smiled at Ric. "So, what did you wanna talk about?" Ric ignored her statement and walked into his room. Anna quickly followed him into the room, finding Ric sitting on his bed. "Come sit with me, Anna." Anna's blush grew across her entire face. Was he trying to do something like that this soon? Anna cautiously sat down next to him and crossed her legs. "Close your eyes. I have a surprise for you." She closed her gentle eyes and her smile grew even larger. A few moments went by as she sat in wait. Her mind began to wander, but it only wandered for a few seconds at most. Before any of the thoughts became fully developed, everything stopped. A sharp pain came across her head before she realized it. The pain was so bad, she couldn't even release a yelp or scream. Slowly opening her eyes, she could see blood dripping down onto the floor. The pain was rising with every moment she was breathing. Before she was able to lift her head up enough to look at Ric, she was struck again. This time, it was all over. Before he had any time to think about it, Ric dragged her body into the living room and out the back door. Out in the small backyard, a fire pit laid dormant and inactive. Throwing in her body, he poured gasoline in the pit and lit the match. Before long, he milky white skin was black. Putting out the fire, Ric burried the young lady and patted the soil to be level with the ground. Ric smiled at the brown patch of dirt in the backyard. Walking back into the house, he smiled and whispered to himself. "Still the best day ever."

Character name: Rin Seishou Applying for: Swordsmanship Teacher or Assistant RP-sample: A hole opened in the floor of the room, a black hole, with red veins running down endlessly. The first thing that was seen coming from this void, was a grey reaitsu, swirling up like smoke. And then, grey hair that was spiked up started to come up, followed by a body with many different wrappings around his body, loosely hanging from different areas. Most came from the end of his arm, while what seemed like two cords hung from his elbows to the top of his spinal cord, connecting at the tips. Deep red eyes seemed to glow when the old eyelids opened. Grey gauntlets covered his hands, stretching from the cord like objects. He wore a loose white outfit, like that of a shinigami's garb. He had a katana on his side, ending with a harpoon spike. He had black shoes on, rimmed with white, and plated with some metal at the bottom. His skin was pale, like a ghost, almost making him seem like he was made from the walls of an asylum.
When the hole below him closed, he started to walk toward Usuroh, slowly, taking his time. As he walked, the cords unlatched, letting the gauntlets disappear, and his skin seemed to tan up. What happened would be a mystery to them for quite a while, but he seemed less menacing now, especially now that he had lost the dead pale skin. The red eyes then had two black lines appear over them and started to scan over Relo's arrancar uniform, looking at every detail. His white shinigami like garb then seemed to transfigure itself into an arrancar uniform, threads changing and latching back together to give himself an arrancar uniform. Finally he reached Usuroh, but unlike many would do, he stood there and laughed at those who thought he should bow. ((It was an entrance post in another guild.))

Character name: Hannelore Applying for: Nurse RP-sample: (Based on the same character, but not what she can do within the guild.)
Hannalore winced slightly, the sounds of battle shattered her concentration as she knelt over the wounded Shinigami. It was difficult, she was struggling against her desire to heal, but also against her nature. Blood was something she could handle, but she didn't like healing on the battle field. If she could, she would heal in a spotless medical room where everything was hand washed and steralised to perfection, but there was none of that out here. Her hands were pressed down on the Shinigami's chest, his blood seeping through her fingers as she attempted to slow the bleeding while she collected herself. It was happening again, she could feel it at the back of her mind. A soft tingle at first, a tingle the slowly grew into a pain. Her eyes glazed over a little, she could feel the panic attack trying to force itself out, to make it to the surface. The Shinigami could see what was happening, he had known Hannelore for a while, she he could see how difficult it was, doing something so important under pressure, with so much going on at once. Weakly, he placed a hand on hers, forcing a smile to his lips with his dwindling energy. 'H..Hanners...you can do it, you've always...been stronger than you look. I know you have it in you...'
Hannelore took a breath, feeling the Shinigami's reassuring hand on her own. Crunch time. Pulling herself together, she began to concetrate. The pain in her head stopped, the noises around her seeming to fade away. She was left alone, kneeling over her patient. "Chiyudo number five. Kai Kizu!" Her hands began to glow, slowly healing over the cut on the man's chest. He lost consciousness as she was healing. As soon as the wound healed up, she moved her hands, positioning them either side of the Shinigami's chest and trying to prevent another panic attack at the idea of losing her friend.
Hannelore only had one chance, she had to save him, she just had too. "Chiyudou Eighty One. Ikasu!" A jolt of reiatsu surged through the man, his body jerking a little at the force. Nothing. "Chiyudou Eighty One. Ikasu!" The body jolted again as a bolt of reiatsu moved through him, trying to get him going again. Tears were streaming down her face, a warm hand rested on her shoulder as if to say 'I'm sorry, there's nothing more you can do.' She sobbed, her head turning slowly to see who told her to abandon her friend.
It was a blur, the transition was unoticable to her. From scared battle field, to clean, white medical room. The hand on her shoulder was another of the medical staff, a concerned look on his face. It was then she realised she was crying, her eyes wide. 'Hanners. Are you alright? You...you had a panic attack, you've been standing there for several minutes, staring into space.' The other man spoke softly, trying to help her as much as he could.
If it wasn't for the clothing and the glove between his hand and her, she would have freaked out, but now wasn't the time. She turned once more to see a wounded Shinigami, so similar to her horrible memory. She looked at him solemly, before wiping her tears and stepping over. "I'm not losing you this time. Chiyudo number five. Kai Kizu." Her hands began to glow once more, her proceedure began.

Character name: Onozuka Nikuyokura Applying for: Kidou Assistant
RP-sample: The air whistled, all three blows coming in to strike her head. Her surprise almost ended her life
I thought I was only fighting one opponent! Where did the others come from? the thought, ducking the oncoming blows. Her surprise caught her foff guard against when the expected clatter of katanas did not come. Blow after blow was aimed at her, forcing her position back towards the cliff's end. It was rare that she had the speed to lift her own katana in time to parry so she ended up dodging many of the viciously fast swings. Three more swings came in once again looking as if from three different blades.
There's no way he can be this fast... Desperately, she raised her katana to parry; three things happened at once. A loud screech blasted through her mind as her blade met with her opponents, a whoosh dulled the scream of metal on metal as she dodged another blow, and her breath stopped short as the third blow stabbed cleanly through her side and puncturing both lungs. Time slowed in death and she could finally see her opponent again without his mask of blinding speed.
He smiled as she fell from the cliff, never letting go of her sword. The man turned and sighed... oh how he hated killing women; it just seemed like such a barbaric thing to do...
He started to saunter away, reaching into his robe pocket for a small device. He held it to his mouth and spoke "The job you wanted me to do is finished. May I be so bold as to inquire... why was I ordered to kill a team mate?"

Character Name: Takanashi Tsubame Applying For: Theory Assistant or Zanjutsu Assistant
(Let me be perfectly clear in saying that my character will have no prior knowledge in the subjects, but will pick them up extremely quickly if given a staff position. Myself, on the other hand, will be trying to tone down the knowledge I let her have. >.<)
Role Play Sample For Theory:
Pen flying over paper, Tsubame’s hand was cramping from the speed of her writing but she was so intrigued by the text she’d found in the never ending library she couldn’t stop. Today she’d been asked to find rare entries on Arrancar in the vast catalog of materials she had access to, but ended up being side tracked by an account of a young Shinigami that had been misplaced in a back section of the building. After reading the first few lines she was hooked, scampering about from one end of a shelf to the next, piling scrolls and books into a haphazard pile teetering wildly in her arms. Since she’d first read about it in the basics class in Theory, she’d been curious about Garganta and its status as a world in between.
Now she sat at a long table, books throw open to miniscule passages; scrolls strew this way and that while she madly scribbled down her own thoughts on the subject. Only in the recount she’d found had Garganta been described as an encompassing world by the man that had been trapped inside. So with some stretching and reading between the lines Tsubame formulated her own hypothesis on the matter.
If Garganta is a world of light and shadow, and as shown by the recount of this man, be it true or false, heading towards the darkness takes you to Hueco Mundo. His understanding of it came from his inability to escape the world and watching as a few low ranking Hollow wormed there way through from one world to another. Traditionally, in text books and newer materials it has been described nearly in the same way as the Dangai, a world in between but from the publicly released reports of Arrancar appearance the function is seems to be different. Shinigami cannot leave Soul Society unless through one of the multiple Senkaimon, fixed gateways that lead along the same pathways with no particular deviation until moments before emergence in the Living World. That being said, Garganta can be opened from anywhere as recorded in reports based both in Hueco Mundo and the Living World.
If that is the case, than couldn’t Garganta be opened directly into Soul Society? It is already and established fact that Hollow can worm their way here and have often been found preying on sections of the Rukongai. As such, I hypothesize that depending on the depth a person is to travel into the light or shadows of Garganta the farther they will find themselves in the heart of either Soul Society of Hueco Mundo. More information and possible exploration would be needed to test this, but it seems logical in a trial basis. Will need more information and possible access to restricted levels before any further research conduction.
Dropping her pen and shaking her hand vigorously to loosen the sore muscles, Tsubame smiled down at what she’d just written and with a few deft folds reduced the size of the paper and place it in the top of her Academy uniform. The librarian’s would have a few choose words from having to clean her mess, but she was late in returning with the material she’d been sent to find. Luckily the recount was a find that would work nicely. Tucking it beneath her arm she darted for the door, careful to skirt the watchful eyes of the librarians before fleeing down the hallway, back to on task as she should have been before.
Role Play Sample For Zanjutsu:
"No Tou!" came the barked command from the instructor and Tsubame complied in kind, her right hand allowing her zanpakutou to swing downwards as she pulled it towards her left hand and the waiting sheath. Sliding the back of the blade along the indent of her thumb and forefinger the bright silver blade arced into the pale sheath as she pulled her right foot back to align it with the other. The soft click of multiple habiki locking into sheaths resounded in the Dojo's vaulted structure and a collective rush of exhaled breath indicated each advanced student's relaxation into the ready posture. Tsubame herself was lax as usual; a definite advantage in the sword arts where the set of ones shoulders could off set a technique completely. "Keep in line! Free practice for eight cuts, begin!"
Unlike many of the others, Tsubame started slowly, counting out her moves in slow rhythm, knowing full well that with the understanding of ones own movements, she could easily brake from them to send an opponent reeling. Placing her right hand lightly on the tsuka of her blade, she drew it with the light ring of the metal reverberating against its holster and let her left hand meet the bottom of the tsuka will the tip of her blade remained at eye level. Eyes forward and mind blanked of all distraction her right foot slide forward and a barbaric screech left her mouth as she cut diagonally to her right, as always facing forward. Then she swapped direction pivoting on her left foot as she arms drooped only slightly and moved with the force of her hips in a slash across the midsection, and her kiyai continued that same barbaric tone issued with every strike until she’d finished, the last cut straight down from the top of the head to the groin and beyond. Once finished Tsubame pivoted again, her arms before her in defense and readiness as she stalked forward to the point she began at before sheathing her blade once more.
Then a clap came and she immediately removed her zanpakutou from her obi, setting it beside her to her right with the curve facing away as she came down from the readiness all Zanjutsu practitioners should have from the moment they dawned their blade. “Seiza!” Complying, she used one hand to slap the fabric of her red hakama back between her legs while dropping to her knees, her hand loose over her lap. Following her instructor she stared at the Shomen and bowed low in respect when he did, rising up only to clap twice in time with him in ending to the class. Then as always each student bowed to the instructor and to there training partners before being set free, expected only to bow to the Shomen before leaving the room for their next class or break period. But Tsubame enjoyed the serene atmosphere the dojo provided and stood quietly as the others filed out, “Takanashi. I’ve made the plans and necessary papers to excuse you from the rest of your courses today. I want to see you out on the practice grounds in the next twenty minutes. Shibasaki, Juunei, Fujiwara, Takagi, and Hikawa should be there too. We’re working on free style, and where to take and give technique in a true combat situation.”
Almost startled by her instructors sudden blurb she barely got out a ‘hai’ before he was out the door and off to do who knew what. Yet Tsubame was beaming, she enjoyed the free training and how similar it was to Randori in her Hakuda classes. Looking towards the Shomen, she bowed slightly before picking up her zanpakutou. She would not be late and strode out of the room with purpose and a delighted swirl of her Academy garbs.
(Sorry if I confused anyone, here's the terms I was using.
No Tou: A command in Iaijutsu to sheathe your sword and return to ready position. Iaijutsu is a sword art different than Kendo (Japanese fencing) and mainly focuses on cuts and drawing the sword.
Habiki: The small square piece just before the hand guard on the blade, it holds the guard in place and helps to lightly lock the sword into the sheathe.
Tsuka: The hilt of the sword
Kiyai: An abandonment of all proper conduct and letting the spirit run free in the form of loud shouts. It's use is difficult because its both letting go of yourself while keeping control of your movements with the blade.
Seiza: Traditional way of sitting on ones knees with the balls of your feet crossed and upper body held straight and with good posture.
Shomen: The shrine located in all dojo at the forward wall, normally it is dedicated to the founder of the art practiced in the dojo.
Randori: An Aikido term for a free style type training session where one defender remains in the middle while three or more attackers try to strike them. The person in the middle is to use the attackers to block on another and does not focus on technique as much as keeping the attackers at bay.)
