The ocean had called little Yawo that day. She'd grown weary of she laying around and so she answered the call with her foot prints marking the sandy entrance way before reaching the water's edge. She always got just here and then went no further. He fur would get a terrible mess if she set even a paw in there. She sighed, gazing out instead and ignoring the waters want to mess up her pretty white fur. The horizon matched the beauty of the water.
It was early morning at this time and the sun was at it's rising point so it still touched the waters furthest edge. "Stunning." Muttered the juve as she stared some more. Her ears were completely set forward and she lost her lion's mind to pay attention to her surroundings.

Satomi had come across this pride quite by accident. She had met a guard at the borders, Ajabu? Something like that and he had told her that she needed to seek either Kwaruza or Tamu to stay on the lands but when she mentioned she wanted to see what she could smell he allowed her through on the condition that she didn't stick about too long without talking to one of the two lionesses.
She had made it down to the sea following her nose, she had seen a few lions on her way down but none had spoken to her, in fact this pride had more lions in it then she would have expected it to.
As she reached the water she just smiled. It was stunning, so beautiful. She flicked her tail behind her as she moved closer to the water and when a wave hit her she jumped back in surprise. This water was strange, she had never come across anything like it before. It was amazing, beautiful and wet...

Yawo closed her eye's and sat there, her breathing and the crashing of the waves meeting the shore running on a similar tempo. Silly little juve didn't notice that not far off from her spot she'd chosen was another lioness.
She began to hum softly, thinking pure thoughts of the days to come, her growing up and where she'd want to head when she got old enough. Her mind was set on exploring a bit before settling in one spot.
It took a few more seconds before she realized she wasn't alone.
A lioness, much grander then any she had ever seen was at the shorelines as well. Yawo just stared unsure of whether to speak or not. She'd seen almost every lion/ness in the pride and this made her a little nervous. Who was this vastly beautiful lioness and what was she doing bouncing away from the water? So strange this sight was, even if the water were to touch Yawo she'd never jump back.
Hmm. She pondered lightly.
