The brown blue cub laid on his side in the thick of the brush today all alone. Not really by choice, he just felt the need to wander off on his own and had lost his way. The snake he'd talked to told him the wrong directions and now he was all alone.
Moyo wasn't worried though, he'd happen back home at some point. For now he was quite entertained watching two butterflies flutter about.
They weaved around each other in perfect harmony, it was like a dance as the two brightly colored creatures fluttered. The scene was almost practiced, so perfect and yet so delicate. The slightest wrong move and the two would run into each other and disrupt the beauty of their dance.
Moyo's violet eyes kept focused. The two butter flies were so balanced, so beautiful. Getting lost had been well worth it. The brown blue cub couldn't help but smile. Maybe the snake had wanted him to see this? Maybe that was why he had given him the wrong directions.

He wasn't back yet! She thought with a panic, father would be displeased to find him missing. The little gray cub was smaller than her siblings, but it didnt keep her from fretting over them like a little mother hen, she stepped lightly over a fallen branch as she looked around almost franticly.
Pausing, she spotted the two butterflies, tropical blue orbs sparkled as she watched them weave around one another, in a dance that no one was supposed to see, it seemed almost magical. Her white and black streaked tail tuff flicked behind her as she sat down, she curled her tail around her paws as she couldnt seem to move another step, watching them dance with one another, seemed to be her only mission at this point.
Not to find her fathers mates missing son.

Moyo was also frozen by the dance of the two butterflies. He'd never seen anything quite like it before and wasnt sure if he'd ever see anything like it again. Did butterflies usually dance like this?
He'd had been frozen there all day if it hadn't been for his step sister entered his field of vision. Moyo blinked a few times and got up. Had she come to find him? Moyo smiled and pranced over to his step sister, his tail trailing behind him in a lazy fashion.
He hadn't noticed before, but she seemed to have her mind on something. She was in a deep gaze like she was watching something. Moyo stopped, absolutely puzzled. He'd never seen her so ... in trance....
He turned around and ... oh right the butterflies. The cub blinked and looked at his step sister again. Huh. Odd.
Moyo took a seat and just watched her and the butterflies.

The moment of her step brother caught her attention instantly, she blinked several times before her head turned to him.
She smiled, and flicked her tail at him as she stood up, shaking any dust that clung to her fur off. "You wander so far.." she tsked with a shake of her head, giving a playful smile.
Neph flicked an ear as she glanced around, night would be coming soon. And with night, the dangers that cames with it, something she was just not ready to deal with quiet yet.
"Why do you wander so much Moyo?" she asked with a tilt of her head.

Moyo opened his maw and closed it. Was it that obvious he wandered off quite a bit? Probably because he was highlighted with such a bright blue none of the other cubs had. The cub frowned.
"I just.. I just," Moyo chewed on the thought. Why did he wander away today? "I wanted to see the rest of the savanna," Which was truthful.
A butterfly landed on top of Moyo's head. He let it sit there a while before waving it away with a free paw. Not that he didn't like butterflies on his head, but he remembered how his older step brother had waved away the dragon fly a few days earlier.
"Did you come searching for me?" The cub got up and took a few steps closer to his step sister. He looked hopeful.

She stretched, digging her ivory claws into the hard earth of the savannah before she shook her head, and gave her step brother a half hearted pout, "You couldn't wait for even me?" she stepped closer, pawing at him playfully.
Nephthys wasn't known for wandering with her siblings, out of all of them, she stayed the closest to home, so tender pawed she was.
"Of course Moyo.." She smiled. "I couldn't let you get lost." She tsked.

Moyo opened a maw and smiled. He wouldn't let her get lost either. The brown blue lion loved his siblings and family very much. Moyo would be willing to go search for one of them if they got lost as well.
"T-thanks Neph... " He wasn't sure why he was feeling so bashful all of a sudden. He'd do the same for any of his siblings.
Moyo blinked as another butterfly set up residence upon his head. This time he did not swipe it away.

She crouched into the pouncing position as she eyed the butterfly, they were usually so much fun.
She looked to her step brother and smiled. "Of course Moyo." She sent him a beaming smile.
She never felt this playful before, usually the fear of something bigger about to get her, is what kept her close to her fathers side.
Her romp wiggled as she then pounced onto him, swatting at the butterfly as she landed on him.

Moyo eyed his step sister as she crouched. A brow raised and before he could ask her what she was doing, the pounce happened. The butterfly had left the top of his head but now Moyo was on his back looking up at Neph. His eyes were wide open now and his jaw was slightly agape. All he could do was stare.
"Nice," A smile curved on the lion cubs maw. He slowly rolled onto his side and got to his feet. Still, he eyed his sister.
It wasn't long until he was crouching in a pounce position either.

She pawed his ear, with a laugh she rolled off of him, shaking her coat out.
She then bowed, with a laugh. "Why thank you." She giggled, her tail swaying out behind her as she watched him curiously.
"Moyo..Wot do you think your doing?" she asked, her eyes growing wide as she began to laugh and giggle. "Oh no!" she laughed as she spun around in place.

The lion cub smiled as he jumped toward his step sister... and missed? Now he was laying on his belly with a maw full of dirty. Phewy!
"mrphhhhhhhh" He couldn't well get words out with a maw full of dirt now could he? The lion spit and splattered. That was not something he wanted to taste. Sitting up, the lion licked one of his paws trying to get the rich taste of ground out of his mouth. It was gross.

((logged) Doodle: Neph smirked at the sight before her, tail flicking out behind her playfully as she giggled. "Are you alright Moyo?" she asked with a playful brush of her paw.
Chobi: Moyo frowned still trying to get the taste of the earth out of his mouth. Dirt was not good, not at all.
"Bleh!" The lion finally managed. Really he meant to say Yeah, but it got butchered from all the spitting and left over dirt. His tongue hung out of his maw. Just ick.

Doodle: Neph shook her head and began to walk towards what look liked a large, hallow vine, but with a few slashes of her sharp from being rarely used claws, a trickle of water began to flow.
"Here you go Moyo.." she smiled.
Chobi: Moyo watched his step sister with great interest when she revealed water. There was no time to just stare at her in disbelief though. He had dirt and mud and possibly insects in his mouth from his tumble.
Greatfully, he lapped up the cool water. The mud and gunks taste slowly started to lesson until he could only taste to cool sweet water flowing in his mouth.
"THANK YOU," He gasped at her after taking his fill of the sweet sweet water.
Doodle: She nodded, "I saw a pair of what looked to be water starved birds do that...figured it might work for me." she shrugged simply.
Neph was completely modest, she didnt think she'd done anything another lion would have been able to do if they'd been there instead.
Chobi: Moyo just smiled at her with a silly little grin on his maw. He was impressed. The boy would have never thought to do something like that.
"You think we should head back now huh? So mom and dad dont worry," He looked down at his paws shly.

Doodle: "Yeah, Da' is a bit paranoid like that.." She said with a shake of her head with a giggle.
"Though, it was...nice to break away from it all and look around at everything without our parents."
Chobi: Moyo chuckled and nodded, "Yeah we should get back now though. I been out a while and Im sure they may have a fit if we don't get back soon."
He started off toward their little den. "Coming sis?" He looked back over his shoulder at her.
Doodle: She nodded her head, bounding after him with a laugh. "What do you think they're going to do when they notice IM missing too?" She grinned at him before bumping her shoulder into his softly.
Chobi: Moyo grinned at her as the two headed back, "Probably hang you from your toes," He teased and shot him self off threw the air trying to beat her.
It was not gonna take them a long time to get back to the den but they had a little bit to go. A chance for the two to talk and laugh and race and play even though they were headed home.
