Part one of a storyline involving Super as a focal point in enhancing his character while having you all flesh out character relationships with each other. This will be split into parts, more like chapters to a story. Separate chapters will often be some time apart, meaning other RP's can and will happen before, after, and even during the 'Knights of Chaos' storyline. It'll be an undertaking, but here's the rules of the RP.
---------------------------------------------RULES
1. No villains.
2. No Godmodding. Bullets are nearly impossible to dodge without cover.
3. Keep things as PG-13 as possible. Hardcore actions will not be tolerated, and you will be instantly banned from the guild with no hope of returning. However, 'R' rated violence is probably a given.
4. No calling shots. I don't care if it's against another person or an antagonist, it's not fair to anyone and will not be tolerated. Calling a shot will get your post immediately edited and the next attack on your character will hit.
5. This is a literate RP. Spoken words in quotes, appropriate spelling and grammar, and capitalization is a given.
6. Character relationships in terms of romance are always open. No one lives a perfect life, so if your character has the hots for another one that is already in another relationship, if you feel like it, have them hit on him or her. Hell, if your character is in a relationship as well, they can flirt as well. Just remember, for every action, there is a consequence.
7. The storyline follows Super's story, so don't deviate the path too much. There will be time to follow plots for your own character in side RP's and, if it works to the advantage of the plot, even in this series. Character interaction is a must in this RP, so flesh 'em all out.
8. No. Chaos. Emeralds. They will show up and be referenced in the plot, so no one gets any Emerald Powers or the Emeralds themselves. However, if they do show up, some adverse effects may occur to some people.
---------------------------------------------SETTING
Three blocks from where city meets suburb is where the Green Hedgehog known as Kindred 'Super' Elementis lives. However, this story will be going all over the place, to other countries across the ocean, and will often tread the borders of reality and delve into alternate states of existence. Knight of Chaos will take everyone for a ride that you won't want to miss out on.
We'll be starting at a small burger joint called the B-Dubs, in which the owner, Sickle Hound, is currently experiencing a slow day. B-Dubs is well known for it's expansive menu that seems perfect for any mood. Daily specials are a favorite and allows the owner to try out new recipes and additions. Sickle has run the burger joint for a little over eight months, in which he started to get his mind of personal issues from his past.
Sickle's burger joint will be the common meeting place for many people, as he allows people to come in and not pay for anything as long as they provide good conversation. This will allow anyone ample time to get into the RP and start interacting with each other before the plot kicks off. When will it start moving? About five of my own posts after Super arrives at B-Dubs.
---------------------------------------------PROFILES
Please refresh your profiles in the Character Profiles subforum to keep up with the RP in the Topic provided. The setup is simple, just get post it there.
---------------------------------------------TIMELINE
Knight of Chaos has a timespan of 5 years. Children are a hindrance if they are not RP characters, especially babies. That said, this RP takes place when Super's own child is 4 years of age, meaning that Nadia Elementis will be 9-10 years old by the tentative end of the RP. It could be shorter or longer depending on changes. And changes always happen as nothing is ever set in stone.
Don't feel discouraged by the timeline, as it probably won't take 5 years to go through. There will be plenty of time skips, and there will always be some time between chapters.
---------------------------------------------HISTORY
Super is an accomplished ex-soldier that left G.U.N. on bad terms. After clashing with the organization numerous times, as well as foiling an international plot while he was at it, Super gained and lost friends in the fight, including his old friend Milku and his old army buddy and informant, Soul Nella.
When G.U.N. took action against the 'potential threat' of the hedgehog's knowledge and inventions, it resulted in the hedgehog's fleeing of the country from the dictator-like grasp of Commander Brass. Whilst fighting overseas against a terrorist organization linked to G.U.N., Super and his team accomplished a momentous task of dismantling the organization from the inside out and cutting G.U.N. resources at the roots. However, they were soon to learn that while they had crippled their overseas adversary, other battles were soon to follow that did not involve the Hedgehog and his team.
Upon returning to their home country after two years, much had changed. The world had been thrust into a villainous plot caused by Brass's infernal research, and while Super and the rest of the world rallied against a godlike super-power, their missions were important. Success after success greeted the hedgehogs company, but at heavy losses. Sickle lost touch with his wife, Kairi, during the war. Super lost two old friends after just being reunited with another. Super even lost his middle finger on his left hand, a fact he was happy about, because at least it wasn't his ring finger or his sword-hand. Even after a radical and unlikely band of heroes ended the heartless war in Station Square, she did not return to him.
Super was reunited with his wife, Sparky, who had stayed home to care for their daughter. Re-establishing connection was tough, but possible. Now, Super and his daughter Nadia act like a grateful father and loving four-year old daughter should. Aunt Tsuki visits her niece every-so-often, and her relationship with Super features heavy sarcasm from both sides.
Eight months after the war's end, Super, at age 22, has reestablished connections with G.U.N. after the death of Commander Brass and the instatement of previous Commander's son, Commander Olin. The odd jobs of the army keep Super's family supported. Sickle, physical age 20, has started to recover from his loss of his wife. While Kairi had merely been declared MIA, it was clear now that she was lost. She was rumored to be pregnant. However, despite all this, Sickle had originally started the business to support Kairi when she returned home. Now, it was more because it brought him happiness to bring home-cooked meals to friends.
---------------------------------------------CURRENT
Super Elementis(22) - Alive and well. Father of One. Husband to Sparky Elementis
Sparky Elementis(21) - Alive and well. Put on a little weight after Nadia's birth, she has sense lost and kept it off.
Nadia Elementis(4) - Alive and well. Open minded and let's everyone know what she's thinking. Named after an old friend.
Sickle Hound (20?) - Alive and recovering. Lost wife and possibly a child. Owns 'B-Dubs'. Loud and helping.
Kairi Hound(20) - MIA. Wife of Sickle Hound. Possibly was Pregnant. Son's name to be 'Beo'.
Charles and Nemu Kowalski(28 and 24, respectively) - According to Charlie, the Polish name comes from one quarter pole on great-grandfather on his father's side. A human and dog couple. Known to be very open about all aspects of their relationship.
Soul Nella(Deceased at 24) - Old army buddy of Super. Died during a raid on a terrorist organization by an enemy sniper. Super can't remember the last thing he said.
Milku Psychotix(Deseased at 22) - A rocky history with Super, died while trying to covertly aid Super's cause from behind the curtain. Unfortunately was decapitated in front of Sickle, who was forced to relay the news to Super weeks after Kairi went MIA.
James Fletcher(31) - Friend of Sickle before his apartment blew up. Weekday regular of B-Dubs.
Tsuki Shot(21) - Sparky's twin sister with oddly colored eyes and fur. Blood feud with brother which ended in his death by the hands of Blade Elementis.
Bullet Tsuki(Deceased at 17) - The unfortunate death caused by advent of Blade Elementis. Never stood much of a chance. Violent by environment, not by choice.
Moonshot Tsuki(Deceased at 17) - The psychotic twin of Bullet. After taking over Bullet's body, he partnered up with Blade for a few hours before he was finally killed by Moonshock, whose name is now Tsuki. Taking the last bit of the name to honor her brother, Moonshock became Tsuki Shot.
Scourage(Deceased in his early twenties) - Ex-boyfriend of Moonshock. Killed by Blade Elementis, who let him bleed out in three hours of agony.
Blade Elementis (Deceased at 17) - Twin of Kindred 'Super' Elementis. Psychotic, smart, and an anti-thesis to everything Super held dear, he was the Joker to Super's Batman. Leaving the final battle between Tsuki and Blade, Super was able to regain control and release the memories locked within. A rush of consciousness flooded his senses and allowed Tsuki to kill him, restore Super, and create a body for herself outside of Sparky. This allowed everyone to live normal(ish) lives.
---------------------------------------------THE START
Sickle thought about whistling a jolly tune, but didn't feel all that jolly. He was happy, but not joyful, and certainly not jolly. He sighed and looked at the 36 ceiling panels. He counted them again and again to see if they would make any other number from time to time. He felt as though feeling joyful would betray her. As if not enough time had passed. Hold on Hope, he said. Super never argued it.
Looking into the pan, he wondered what today's daily special would be. He felt like something that was akin to a stir-fry, but without spices. Something more fruity. An idea soon formulated as a sly smile crossed his lips. He may not be joyful, but right now, he was happy. And that was enough.

The sound of a bell rang as the door to B-Dubs swung open, allowing a silver wolf with black streaked hair--which was put up in a braid--to enter the restaurant. Listening as the door slid closed behind her, the silver wolf's mixed-match aquamarine and purple eyes to slid over towards the black wolf as she began to watch him silently. "Having fun counting the ceiling tiles again?" the silver wolf asked as she crossed her arms. "I don't think their number is going to change any time soon--unless they somehow all blur together." Allowing her arms to drop to herself a second later, the silver wolf--who everyone knew as Tsuki--moved over towards a seat before making herself comfortable. Resting her arms on the counter in front of her, Tsuki gave the restaurant a quick glance about before turning her attention back towards Sickle, not really expecting a response. "Anything new happen--or is this place still dull as usual?" Tsuki questioned curiously. Tsuki didn't live in Station Square along with everyone else, she decided that she wanted space from everyone else and preferred the outdoors to living in a house, thus whenever she did come, it was usually only for a little while and only to visit her family as well as her little niece Nadia--who Tsuki was always delighted to see her, even though she didn't always act like it. Another thing about Nadia, was the fact that she had taught Tsuki to tone down her language--Sparky made it very clear that she didn't want her daughter learning her sister's language, especially at her age.

Sickle smiled as a familiar face walked in. He expected a sarcastic comment, but no one ever told Tsuki that. She probably wouldn't react well to being thought of as a one-trick pony. He shook his head at her question, "Ah, the day they change is going to be an interesting day." He explained. Thinking for a moment, Sickle shrugged. "Sans the daily special, duller then cloudy day. Hey Tsuki." He answered, finally greeting his friend properly. The rare occurrence of Sparky's other half was something that Super always wanted to treat as special, but the silver wolf never let that be easy. "How's life on the great outdoors treating you?" He asked, before adding, "Besides not giving you a proper shower." He gave a mischievous and malicious grin as he poked fun at the other wolf.

"Hey! I keep myself well groomed." Tsuki responded to Sickle's teasing comment. "Besides, at least I smell better than you." she countered as she gave him her own smirk before standing up from her seat and beginning to wander across the restaurant towards the jukebox. Staring at it for a bit, the silver wolf pressed the buttons a few times as she attempted to choice something to listen to--if she could find something to listen to, lately she had been rather picky about her music--everything reminded her of something...or someone. "Despite the occasional bad weather, it's pretty nice." Tsuki replied, as she continued to press the next button on the jukebox, flipping through the music tracks. "It's better than being stuck in some stuffy house--that's for sure--besides the rain feels nice." she added in a bit later. Tsuki, unlike Sparky, who wasn't all that found of it, love the rain. She loved the feeling of it on her fur and how it tended to cool down the air once it had finished. "Don't have very many good tunes in this thing, do ya?" Tsuki questioned a second later as she pressed the button one more time and began to move away from it, she almost selected "Wanted Dead or Alive", but she suddenly changed her mind and decided that she didn't want to listen to it all that much. Reaching up for a second, Tsuki messed with the two golden chains that hung around her neck--strangely both of them were empty, except for a small, metal loop that hung around one of them--most likely the remains of something that was once attached.

Sickle stared a moment and sniffed the air. "I smell of food. I smell of fruit and meat. I smell... delicious." He mustered, describing his smell. He got the mental image of trying to eat himself. It caused him to smirk before turning to watch Tsuki fiddle with the jukebox. "I didn't place the music, it was here when I bought the property. Namely old 60's and 70's music on here. Only a couple of current tracks from the previous owner." He explained, before thinking of Tsuki's living conditions. "I've lived like that before. Months at a time, usually. It's fun, but there's just something special about a place you can always return to, that's warm and comforting that you can always call home." He mentioned, leaning on the counter. Head in his hands, the wolf gave a curious sniff to tell how far along his cooking was coming. "Rain's fine and dandy, but you tend to smell bad afterwords." He mumbled the last part mostly to himself, but he knew full well Tsuki would hear him.
Lifting himself off the counter, he gave a chuckle before returning to the kitchen, which was in eyesight of the counter. "Today's special is a new dish I thought of about ten minutes ago. It's like a fruity pizza stir-fry!" He exclaimed from the back. "It's gonna be cheap because it's experimental, so give it a try and stick around, will ya?" He called from the back. Looking through the small viewing window, he made sure his wolven friend was still there. She was playing with the medallions again. He sighed and went back to work. Everyone loses something.

"Just because your restaurant smells good, doesn't mean that you do." Tsuki said, before stopping and beginning to think about her statement. As much as it seemed like a good argument, the simple face that smell tended to latch onto something and linger for a while could easily counter it--especially since the smell usually made whatever--or whoever--it latched onto smell good. Giving a bit a grumble, the silver wolf quickly changed subjects--trying to keep Sickle from picking up on her easily counted argument. "You don't smell that bad." Tsuki responded to Sickle's comment about the rain. "Especially if you roll around in something, you'll end up smelling like that, more than wet fur." she explained, as if admitting to rolling about in something after a fresh rainstorm--which seemed very unlike her, but everyone had their own quirks--even Tsuki. Fooling with her chains for a little bit longer, Tsuki silently looped her fingers around the chain and let out her own sigh as she went off into her own thoughts, thinking about a few things here and there. Mainly about thinks that probably could have been fixed or changed if she had even made the slightest attempt to do so. Like it would have really matter... Tsuki thought to herself for a bit, as she closed her eyes and silently pushed the thoughts into the back of her mind where they belong--today wasn't the day for depressing thoughts, she was with her friends and thoughts like that definately didn't belong there.
"Fruity...pizza stir-fry?" Tsuki repeated the name that Sickle had said to her, blinking a bit at the odd name. "Sounds like something that Sparky would eat, seeing how she likes pineapple on the pizza so much." Tsuki made a disgusted face a the thought. Tsuki didn't mind pineapple--it was a delicious fruit--but on pizza, definately not--She liked meat. "Who knows...maybe it'll actually taste good." the silver wolf mumbled out, mainly to herself than to Sickle. Tsuki had, had Sickle's strange specials before and usually they came out good--despite how weird they usually sounded.

Sickle just had a big open smile. It meant that he knew the hole Tsuki was quickly digging for herself, and at a moment's notice, he'd bury her in her words. However, he decided to dismiss it and give Tsuki a break. Not all friendships were based solely on who can win an insult-fest. Turning to look outside on the gloomy day, Sickle could smell the humidity in the air. It was thick and a storm was threatening to be set loose. A red convertible shot by the window on whatever business it may have been on. It had it's top down, which seemed just silly given the weather. Sometimes people can be so short-sighted.
When Tsuki finally decided to give a retort on his stir-fry, he smiled and nodded. Walking out from the kitchen, Sickle answered, "Actually, almost anything can go on pizza - Pineapples, Oranges... not pears or apples no, but a caramel like substance can be used. I'm hoping it'll turn out like something sweet, savory, but light instead of thick." He made accompanying hand gestures a little more extravagant then normal, because he was on the subject of cooking. "I've just been stuck thinking what meats and fruits to use. No veggies though, as that would take away from the fruit.

Sickle wasn't the only one who had seen the red convertible zoom by, watching as it zoomed past, Tsuki's left ear seemed to droop the same time that she rose the opposite eyebrow. "Say hello to a very soaked car." the silver wolf stated simply as she looked away from the window and back towards Sickle, whose smile she had decided to ignore. Even she needed a break from the constant bickering that she seemed to create between her friends. "Sounds pretty good, at least the way that you describe it." Tsuki responded as she watched the black wolf walk out of the kitchen. "Though, it still sounds like something Sparky would eat, her and her weird love for fruit...don't understand how she can put fruit on or in so many things." she mumbled, making a bit of a face as the silver wolf stuck out her strange colored tongue. "However...that doesn't mean that I won't at the very least try it." she added in a second later and letting out a bit of a sigh. The place seemed rather silent, which probably meant everyone was busy today. She wouldn't put it past Sparky at least--she had a little bugger to take care of. "Never been a fan of veggie's much anyway..." Tsuki stated a second later. "So I guess it works out in the end." Standing there silently for a moment as she watched the occasional person walk by the restuarant, Tsuki seemed to think about something before sticking out her tongue and seeming her stare at it for a bit--as it trying to figure something out, and it probably wasn't why it was such a strange color.
(dont know why its strange colored yet....I'll figure that out adventually. Just felt like adding it)

Sickle shook his head. "I'm more of a meat guy myself." He smiled, showing off his carnivorous fangs. He dropped the smile as he thought about Sparky's weird fruit favoritism. "Well, at least it's healthy." He mentioned, before looking outside. A slight drizzle picked up. "Hopefully the guy get's the idea to put up the top..." He mumbled absentmindedly. He didn't follow the subject of today's special any longer, and sat down on a stool near the kitchen. He hadn't started the meal yet, as Tsuki had yet to specifically order it. He didn't exactly give free food...

"If he does--I'll be surprised." Tsuki mumbled, though it was more to herself than a reply to Sickle's comment about the guy the convertible. Something told her that he was one of the optimistic people--either that, or they were just an idiot...most likely the latter of the two now that she thought about it. Glancing over towards Sickle for a moment as he took a seat on a nearby stool, the silver wolf let out a bit of a sigh and closed her eyes as if thinking about something. "Alright." Tsuki said a second later. "Let's see what this special of yours tastes like shall we?" she stated simply. They didn't have anything else to do--and it didn't seem like they would be getting any visitors soon--however that statement could easily be changed as time went on. Wonder if Sparky will be making her way over here soon... she thought to herself as she opened--strangely still--mixed matched eyes and stared up at the ceiling for a moment, before looking back over towards the black wolf once again--as if waiting to see what he was going to do. It wasn't rare for Tsuki to order the special, but usually she wasn't first person to try it. But, there was a first time for everything.

"How optimistic." Sickle mused. He let her ponder a moment about mobius knows what until she finally ordered. Sickle hopped to his feet and nodded. "Will do. Oh, and remember to tip, will you?" He mentioned as he headed back into the kitchen. He wasn't running a charity kitchen, for Pete's sake. He headed on back and started to look over the ingredients. There would be pineapple, and a little bit of an exotic citrus fruit that was much like an orange, but much sweeter. Then he fished for some meat, and got out a long pepperoni stick and cut some ham from a recently thawed piece of meat. Taking a moment to think about how Tsuki might want it prepared, he left the hardened skin of the ham intact because of it's flavor. Tsuki was canis, just like him, so a little tough food didn't pose much challenge.
Flipping the concoction in the wok, he added bits of bacon and it's Canadian counterpart, as well as some Italian sausage. Other meats and a couple of small doses of veggies went in to healthy it up. He kept dumping the grease but added small amounts of oil to keep it healthy, but tasty. Dumping the finished product into tortilla bowl outlined in a harder plastic bowl, He dumped fresh shredded mozzarella cheese over it and started to mix it in. Just before it was served, he dashed some Parmesan Cheese on top and exited the kitchen. Looking up at the fellow wolf, Sickle smiled and dropped the bowl off in front of Tsuki. "Lunch is served. My Pizza Stir-Fry is a-go." He announced.

"Yeah yeah--I'll remember." Tsuki replied as Sickle reappeared from the room with a bowl in hand, before dropping it in front of her her. Staring at it for a moment, she seemed to look over it curiously--it definately looked good and it smelled even better--and that was all that was really needed for Tsuki to approve of it--how it looked and smelt, though it was usually smell before appearance. "It smells good--that's for sure." the silver wolf simply replied before picking up and tortilla as she attempted to figure out how to eat it. Seeing how it was pizza, it only made sense to eat it with her hands, but being on a tortilla--it made it a bit tricky. After a few minutes, the silver wold finally managed to figure it out and quickly gobbled it down...Tsuki was never one for manners or neat eating, which was found out as she quickly gobbled down the last of it and quickly finished her meal with a loud burp. "Sounded weird--tasted great." Tsuki replied simply as she licked her lips, content now that her stomach was full. Oh right, the tip. She thought to herself and reached into her pockets as if searching for something, before finally retrieving what she was looking for--a wallet. Holding onto it for a moment, she wondering how much she was supposed to tip or if she was supposed to pay for it and then tip. Sickle's restaurant was one of the few places she ate out in, sure she went to others, but most of the time she found her food in the good outdoors...along with the occasional trip to the super market during the colder months.

Sickle walked over tot he register and typed in a few numbers. A few high pitched dings and some mechanical sounds ensued before finally printing off a small slip of paper. Ripping it off, Sickle brought Moonshock her receipt when she was almost finished. "Five ninety nine plus tax, grand total of Six dollars and thirty five cents." He informed, before heading to the back to wash the wok and the stove top. Restaurant business was a hard business, but he liked the work and he liked to keep it clean.

Opening up her wallet, Tsuki began to flip through the bills and whatever useless crap that was stuffed inside of her wallet. Searching for a bit longer, the silver wolf quickly pulled out the amount of money she needed in order to pay, along with an extra amount for tip. "There ya go." Tsuki said as she placed it down on the table, adding a five as a tip, making no comment about how much she was giving him or anything--Tsuki was like that, she could be a pain most of the time, but deep down she was nice...once you got to know her first that is. Looking away from Sickle, Tsuki glanced over towards the door and stared for a bit--wondering if and when anyone else was going to show up...not that anyone knew she was there--not usually the time to plan ahead or inform her friends of her visit, she tended to appear out of nowhere. Wonder when Sparky and the little twerp is going to get here... the silver wolf thought to herself, referring to Nadia, at the mention of 'the twerp'-- a little nickname that she had decided to give Nadia to tease her and nothing else--she liked Nadia, she just find pestering her fun, besides, Nadia never really minded, she was to happy to see her Aunt Tsuki once again.

"Thank you..." He smiled as he took the cash and put it in the register. He mulled about, trying to stretch the time out. He didn't much care for time, how slow it was. Turning to Tsuki, he drummed on the register before closing it. "So how have you been, anyway? I haven't seen you in a couple of weeks and you don't keep in touch with Super and the rest of 'em while you're gone." He explained, as if Tsuki didn't know somehow. "Nadia talks about you all the time when she's here. I think she somehow expects you to be here since you aren't there." He added, wondering if Tsuki was told that by Sparky or not.
