The Apocalypse

The end of all said to come about as a resault of the final clash between God and Satan. The Two signs of Satan growing stronger the Anti-christ, and the False Prophet. The ultimate battle of good and evil with chaotic effects that could kill us all, or save us.
Okay what are your opinions, ideas, and beliefs on this topic.

I've read that those who side with god will be saved and brought to heaven before the final clash leaving those who sided with the Anti-christ on earth to await their appending fate.

Um both those signs have been fulfilled, Anton LaVey penned the Satanic Bible. I'm pretty sure that the first High Priest of the Church of Satan would probably qualify as the Anti-Christ. As for a False Prophet, take any Televangelist that has been caught stealing from the congregation. Or the Catholic Church.
I'm personaly indifferent to the end of the world because if it comes i won't know about it anyway (my religion has no afterlife).

That would be the rapture, and that would be a lie, i've read through the book of Revelation several times (in two separate versions of the bible) and NOWHERE does it say that the faithful will be raised up before Armageddon to the best of my knowledge

It's a great story buuuut.....
I think we're more apt to destroy ourselves before any of that seeing how things are going.
So Revelations (IMO) full of crap.

I honestly think humans will destroy everything before God ever thinks to. confused

I dont think 2012 is going to happen, I know the Mayans were smart and gave us a lot of things we use today, but...seems like another conspiracy theory to me.

I believe the world will come to an end eventually.
I just don't believe in the whole 2012 theory.

Every generation has claimed the end of the world would come during their time, and every generation so far has been wrong. So just on probability alone, the world isn't going to end in our time, or even our children's time.

This.

Edit: Wait. I just realized something. The world might be coming to an end. This is one of the first things you've posted I actually agree with and think the same way about.

Have ya'll ever read any Norse Mythology?

Look up Ragnarök, it is the scariest end of the world prediction I have ever heard. Once i was reading a Norse Mythology book, and it went into such detail that I had nightmares of it for 2 nights.

But there will be survivors. Apparently, those who are knowledgeable will seek saftey in a large tree to ride out the apocalypse in.

This Wiki article sucks at explaining it, but it will give you an idea: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragnarök

It doesn't in the Revelation but it does say so in one of Paul's epistles [I can't remember now where exactly it is sweatdrop ]. As for the book of Revelation itself, I think it's so full of symbols that it's hardly possible to know what they mean and what to take from it for us. :/
