Might there be anyone else around this little corner of the intertubes who happens to have extrasensory ability, specifically that of mediumship?

well, i'm no medium, but i can read your mind.

you'll find loads of people with odd "Powers" here... we had a discussion about it a while back...

I think I have a very weak ability to see minor future events but no spirit communicating here.

Yeah I'm going to go with lucky on that one. As a practicing witch and Celtic pagan I know that magic doesn't quite work like that....it's essentially energy with your will and intent behind it.

I wouldn't say I'm a medium per se, but I do have a guardian spirit I communicate with occasionally. I always have really good intuition about people (though sometimes I do let stuff cloud my judgment), and lately I've developed the talent to say "I bet this will happen today" and be right but I wouldn't call it being psychic because I never actually believe the event will happen until it does and then I remember that I totally called it earlier (sometimes I'm able to predict based on a pattern of events, but sometimes it's just a random feeling of "I think this is going to happen even though I have no earthly reason to").

I will stand up proudly upon my soapbox to declare "Yes. I am a medium"

Can I see dead people. No (I'm not little Hayley Joel and my best friend is not M. Night)

Do I hear them. Yes. Sometimes when I want to... but most of the time when I don't. Music helps.

Smells outweigh colors. I never get flashes of those forboding aura/karmic colors unless I'm having a dream. This has only happened to me once after I attended a group reading by the medium John Edwards in Sacramento back in 2006 (I think that was the year) which my cousin took me to in hopes we'd get picked to validate her wavering beliefs. She's very scientific. Needs to see it to believe it.

I'm the only one in my family that isn't afraid to admit to it openly. But ironically, I rarely speak about it because of the highly sensitive discrimination attached to it. Mostly the "trick-pony" attitude I get when friend's start asking me to "read" them or "connect" them. I'm not a spiritual USB cable, so naturally, I am very very guarded.

I'm also empathic. This part sucks most of all. When I have a bad day, 9 times out of 10 someone else's bad day is on me too (and their buddies bad day, etcetera etcetera). I'm also an Indigo. [Crystal children you get all the fun!]

I practice animism and in a way shamanosm, and have had a few brush in with spirits of either the dead or demonic.My friend would often drag me with him to spiritually active places.Grave yard, the dunes, the woods, his house for example.Im often found creating wards amongst things.I've willingly let spirits of nature guide me and have minor control of my actions.Am I a medium?I have no idea.
