okay then lets start with a bit of background I'm 14 and have been in the teachers quorum for about 6 months and just about last week maybe 2 weeks I'm not sure a close female friend of mine admitted that she had a crush on me she is in 11th grade and I like her too (I know all of you have crushes on friends as well) well I admitted to her that I liked her and that I couldn't date and I don't want our friendship to become awkward please help!!

What grade would that make you?? I'm sure that she can understand if you have made promises to yourself that you would uphold certain standards. The best way to handle this kind of situation is to be upfront, never beat around the bush, it will just prolong/create drama and heartache. at least there are my two bits ^^

O.o freshmeat and junior jailbait huh? Wow... awkward... take your elder's advice and not mine. Relationships count: 0. best you can do is just be friends until you reach the right age. by which time, who knows what will happen.

If she were a sophomore and you were a freshman, I'd say just wait and see, but since she's a junior, I don't think it would work. By the time you can date her, she'll be in college and one or both of you will have moved on.
