Hello, FEF. For those who don't know me, I am Sue, the resident female nomad. I've taken up the trade of... splicing and spriting. I'd like to show off my completed works and gets some honest critiques (not FLAMES, there is a difference) to improve them... but mainly the latter far more so than the former. :3
Just give me a second to post them, for as we say in the Blast, "Pics or they don't exist."
Some of your mugs have this stretched or squashed look to them, but they are still very nice. John and Magnet are my favorites and I like Nathaniel's shirt that is an edited Joshua shirt if I'm correct? Victoria and Beatrix are the two wonky ones that stick out the most. With Victoria it seems her nose and mouth are a few pixels too low, and Beatrix just looks kinda squished sweatdrop
You Battle Sprites are very well done, are your Generals slightly customed? I particularly like the one that I believe is supposed to be Shiela unpromoted, and the one to the left of her which might be unpromoted Victoria? And the Very last one in the Promoted line, I believe it is made from a male Sage, Eliwood, and Lyn with Sol Katti? Also never thought of having a Cavalier, which I think is Present!Leon, have an Axe 8O
Some of my critique may sound bad, but I mean it all to be constructive I'm just not very good with wording things the way I want them to sound.

Oh, I wish that Sheila and the Generals were mine. They're sprites from a game called Fire Emblem Tactics Online, but those colors I picked out are mine. biggrin Victoria's hair I had to modify into the normal cleric sprite. All the clerics have veils sans Serra.
Yes, that is present!Leon, the axe cavalier. He's amongst the favorites of the OC's I've made. heart
That last one is meant to be my imagination's form of a promoted Marth. :3
Edit: Next to unpromoted Sheila is actually Mage!Nyna.

I haven't done a battle sprite in ages, and I just started back up on mugs. I've been on a LONG hiatus, because my new 'job' is killing my imagination by not allowing me to think outside the box. But please do take a look at my sprites and tell me anything, on the ones closer to the top, that looks bad. Because in my opinion that why were here, to get others to look at our work and point out flaws so that we may better our work and get some slight sense of recognition!
After a long day's work, Victoria's new mug is finally ready for viewing! =D
I'll be using this in her posting format, and I'll make a linkcard featuring it soon!
I haven't had this much fun in a long time. I realized that I need to start spriting again.
I suppose all that's left is for me to take a crack at the contest. Spriting tomes should be fun. I still have a few days to get my entry in, and I will get it done.

Her face isn't 'long' anymore. Yay.
On a more serious note, the shoulder closest to the viewer looks a lot longer than the other shoulder, and might need some shading to give it more perspective like you did with the face.
I'm not a spriter though, so my thoughts on the new mug may not hold that much weight.

Your advice makes sense and it's easily fixable once I get back on the laptop. I'm glad you pointed it out to me before I made a link card and included it in my posts.
That hair. gonk I am proud of it but it was a pain in the butt to get that way.
