Ring Of Honor issued the following press release:
Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Bryan has been an exemplary talent and a wonderful member of the Ring of Honor locker room and family since the inception of the company. We couldn’t be happier for Bryan and all of his successes, many of which Ring of Honor has been proud to witness first hand.
We congratulate Bryan on the beginning of this next journey in his brilliant career, and wish him all the best as he progresses. Many Ring of Honor fans refer to Bryan as the “best in the world” and we look forward to looking on in earnest as he shows everyone watching the wrestling world’s biggest stage just why that is.
Bryan will appear as scheduled at all of the September Ring of Honor events. Please join us in Philadelphia, Dayton, Chicago, Boston, and New York as we say thank you and farewell to a truly one-of-a-kind talent.Update The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bryan Danielson was expected to sign with WWE ever since Ring of Honor debuted on HDNet back in May. The feeling is that Danielson never wanted to sign with ROH, and was always waiting to sign with WWE so he went with ROH in order to gear himself up for the eventual WWE signing. At this time, it is said that Danielson will skip developmental when he does sign with WWE, but things can always change as Danielson has worked in WWE developmental before and was released from his contract.

If WWE uses him as well as fellow former ROH talent CM Punk, then there will be no stopping him.

Lil Petey Pump Betcha half of his moveset will be gone by the time he makes it to the WWE. As long as they don't ******** with the Cattle Mutilation... I won't have as much of a problem... Harli the Pervy Sage Can't wait to see how good he is His nickname is "The Best Wrestler in the World". And rightly so. He is THAT ******** good. And as long as WWE doesn't dumb his moveset down that much, AND they use him right... You'll see why.

Well if a wrestler like Tyson Kidd didn't suffer much of the move cuts, I don,t see why they would force Danielson to scrap half of his moveset.

so he could be a straight to tv guy huh, im guessing a heel beatdown on some face post match announcing himself to ECW. anyone agree? lol
