((A roleplay log between Marge [Isoke] and Seaki [Chozi and Nafsiumiza])) Isoke grinned happily as she prodded at an injuried worm that was try to wiggle its way back into the safety of the ground. It was so weird but funny looking at the same time. She poked at its once more before she bent her head and gently picked up the squirming, slimy creature and pranced back toward the den. Just wait till she showed Mommy what she'd found all by herself! Plus, Mommy would like the green stuff leaking out of the worm's side.

Nafsi yawn and watched her cubs. All eight of them, in fact, though not all of them were birthed from her body. She was proud though, of all of them. She tretched her body out at the base of the Tree Den, letting the few gashes that had closed re-open in a flurry. They didn't bleed much, but it was still satifyingly tingly. Nafsi hummed.
Chozi, today, wasn't pressed against his... er... her mother's side, but instead trailing behind 'her' various siblings in curiousity and a faint look of loss across 'her' face. 'She' didn't know how to play with 'her' siblings too well, and 'she' really didn't know what to do about it. He sat, looking lost for a moment before spying one of his siblings. Isoke! He gave a small smile and made 'her' way towards 'her' older sister.

Isoke paused as her name was called. She glanced around for a moment before her eyes fell on Chozi and she gave him a smile. "Hmft" The cheeton frowned lightly and set her prize down on the ground in front of her before looking back to her brother. "Hello! Have you seen Mommy around? I've got something to give her!"

The little cheeton gave a frown and trotted closed. A frown crossed 'her' face for a fleeting moment. "What is it?" Chozi questioned instead. 'She' peered down at the creatures seeped with it's own insides with interest. "Mama should be by the tree den though..." 'she' frowned a little and perked 'her' ears up, listening to the drifting sound of 'her' mother's huming. 'She' nodded to confirm it herself and glanced up into her sister's green eyes that he enviously noted were like their mother's.

'Oh good! Then I can give it to her." Isoke chimmed happily before she frowned and pulled the worm closer with a paw. "It's a slimy," The cheeton paused before adding defensively, "And it's mine." No way was Chozi going to steal her awesome new find. Isoke scowled at her brother, noting jealously that he had a coat the same color as their fathers. "You'd better not try to even touch it."

The younger of the two flinched back a little, and frowned. The scowl was... mean. "But, you're giving it to Mama anyways," he cried indignately. That wasn't fair! He had just wanted to look at it, but Isoke was being so mean. He pouted a littled, blue eyes scrunched up a little. Out of all the cubs, Isoke lookied mose like Mama, and that wasn't fair. Chozi didn't get the eyes of either parents, and that made him sad, and Isoke was just being meeaaan. The little male (even though he thought he was female) scrunched his face in irritation.

"Yeah, it's for mom. She's gonna think it's cool and I'm gonna be the one to give it to her." Isoke grumbled, stepping forward so the worm was under her. She poked him in his chest, her eyes narrowed. "Got it, Chow-Chow?"

Chozi frowned deeply. "Okay, but I just want to see." He ducked his head and tried to peer under his older sister. "Can I just loook?" He practically whined, and crawled closer to get a better look. "Why're you being so mean, Issy?"

"Fine, you can look. But only look! If you touch it, you can never look at anything I find again." Isoke warned as she stepped back to allow her brother to see. "I'm not being mean, I'm guarding what I find 'cause it's special and I don't want it to get stolen." She added, poking Chozi in the chest. The worm continued to weakly wiggle as the two felines fought over it. Isoke frowned, letting Chozi see it for a half a minute before she grabbed it and hid it under herself again. "There! You saw it."

The young cheeton looked at the dying work with morbid curiousity. He wanted to touch it but he refrained. He liked seeing what his siblings caught, because he couldn't catch anything himself. "I wouldn't steal it!" He cried out and flinched back away from the poking. It didn't hurt, but it was rather annoying. The younger cheeton almost snarled.
Nafsi, listening to her cubs argue and stopped her soft tune. She, being curious, pulled herself up, ignoring the agitated wounds as she walked. She gave a soft frown at the bantering. "Is everything alright?" Nafsi asked her cubs calmly upon finding them. She blinked her green eyes and smiled softly at the scene. Her cubs were growing well into their own roles.

Isoke looked up in surprise as their mother suddenly appeared. She grinned happily and scooped up the worm before bouncing over to the larger female and setting it down in front of her. "Yeah! Everything's fine. Look what I find for you! Isn't it cool?" She purred, rubbing against Nafsi's front legs. "Chozi was trying to touch it though and I told him that it was for you not him."

Nafsi gave her daughter a smile. "It's lovely, Isoke," Nafsi bent her head and gave the small tan cheeton a nuzzle. "I'm sure Chozi was only curious, little one." She gave a small hum in the back of her throat.
Chozi frowned and skittered over to his mother to press himself under her belly. He sighed. Siblings were mean," he frowned and pressed himself into the soft light tan belly of his mother, ignoring some of the blood that bushed into his darkly colored fur.
The tan lioness gave her only birth-son a nuzzle as well and started up her soft little tune again to sooth the cub huddled under her and reassure the little female, her oldest birth-child.

The cheeton puffed up proudly as her mother nuzzled her and rubbed against Nafsi's chin. "Well he doesn't need to be so curious. It's annoying." She pouted, frowning at her sibling. She sighed happily as her mother began to hum and instead poked at the dying worm. "Mommy, what is it? Is it special?"

The lioness stopped humming to answer the question directed at her in curiousity. "That would be a worm, or a grub. Some small rodents use them as nourishment." She had watched the odd stretched meerkat feast on the bugs that practically invaded the lands. "So I suppose, little one, it depends on who you ask. But it's very special because you gave it to me," Nafsi nuzzled her birth-child again. "Thank you."
Chozi, at his mother's belly, huffed in annoyance and envy. He directed a glare at his sister. "S'not fair," he grumbled out and stuck his pink tongue in her direction.

The cheeton purred happily. "Good. I'm glad you like it, Mommy." She crooned before all but glaring at her brother. "Mommy, tell Chozi to stop being stupid. Just cause he can't find anything special to give you doesn't mean that me giving you somethin' special isn't fair. Right?" She asked, looking back up to the lion before sticking her tongue out at her brother.
