A beautiful tiny island sits alone in the middle of the vast ocean. Palm trees sway in the warm breezes. A perfect sky reflects off the water. Little crabs scuttle across the fine sand, and the occasional gull circles overhead. It’s a lovely scene…broken only by a swirly rainbow portal of excellence, through which the crew from the Lunar Hope emerges.

*Kyla sets up a table with all the fixings to make blender drinks. Ichigo sets another table with sushi, sandwiches, and pizza, among other delicious foods. Shade bounces around on the beach and chases the occasional crab*

Didn't feel like swimming. Though, It was more tiring to do that than I thought. ^^;

*Shade and a crab become engaged in an epic battle. The crab snaps its claws at Shade, while the little blob of darkness stabs back with his little tendrils. Eventually, the crab snags one of Shade's tendrils, and Shade scoots around the beach in a panic with the crab hanging on for dear life*
*Kyla waves to Kold* Hi! It took me forever to figure out which swimsuit to wear. In the end I went with my favorite, mew mew. whee What do you think?

I can't say that I'm not happy you're wearing it, but in front of everyone....? sweatdrop
Well...it should be fine. It's been a while since we've had a vacation, though I have the odd feeling we should be doing something else right now....

*Kyla looks at her outfit* Well it's not that skimpy. I'm covered anyway. At least I didn't go with the "Alruna" style suit *Shudders* That thing had thorns in bad places. And as for the forces of evil that could drop from the sky and crush us at any moment....yeah they can wait. Summer's almost over after all, mew mew.

It was at this point, Corbenik came wandering idly out from some tall grass, half carrying, half dragging a large black parasol behind him and humming the Invader Zim theme tune jauntily. He reached a patch of beach midway down the beach and stabbed the end of the parasol into it and flipped it up. "I claim this patch of minuscule rocks in the name of the Irkan empire!" he suddenly declared "The time to go see if I can make explosives from innocent party drinks has now arrived! Get out here Dr Doom" He added.
The shadow under the parasol distorted into a shadow portal from which Kokujo emerged, squinting awkwardly at the sun from the safety of his parasol stronghold.

*Kyla grins and mixes up a couple of drinks. She pours them into coconuts and hands one Kokujo* Alcohol will help you forget about the sun, and I think there's some "SPF Holy s**t" sunblock around here somewhere.
*She hands the other drink to Kold* I wasn't sure what you'd like...so I mixed a bunch of things together. Enjoy!

Kokujo took the drink and examined it suspiciously as he did every new thing he came across. "Why is this beverage served within part of a fruit?" He asked curiously. "Yeah I totally know what you mean. I prefer the taste of mugs myself, glass also hits the spot. But I think these have a few too many unpronounceable vitamins" Corbenik added "....Not what I meant" Kokujo replied dully, before almost being hit if the face by a bottle of sunscreen. "Here ya go Dracula, according to the add for this, your skin can survive being up to 5 meters from the sun. It's just a pity the rest of you can't" Corbenik said cheerfully "Now shut up and cower from the weather while I ogle Kyla. Beach traditions must be upheld!" Corbenik declared.
While he was doing this, his tail seemed to be working independently, pouring different drinks into the largest coconut shell he could find. It was pretty safe to say he would have no idea what he was mixing with or without actually looking.

Hmmm, pretty much the same. Training with my familiars, doing the usual chores at the Lunar Hope, mew mew. Though it has been taking up a lot of my time. It's nice to just relax like this.
*She makes a drink for herself. Shade finally gets away from the crab and runs over to Kold, hiding behind him*
*She raises an eyebrow at Corbenik* Traditions? What do you mean tradition? How often does this "tradition" of yours happen exactly?
*To Kokujo* What? It's not poison. It's served in half a coconut so that...erm....*Tries to think of a reason that Kokujo might accept*...So that you can enjoy the knowledge that an innocent fruit was slaughtered simply so you could drink alcohol out of it's disfigured corpse, mew mew. 3nodding

Corbenik scratched his head. "Well, technically this is only the second time I've ever been to this whole beach place. The first time I was here I set fire to the souvenir shop with a magnifying glass, I learnt how to do that from Wikipedia" Corbenik said proudly striking a pose "If you're not supposed to ogle swimsuits at beaches though, what's the point of them anyway?" he then asked curiously. "For swimming....idiot" Kokujo answered as he gingerly set down his coconut carcass so he could apply his factor 10 million sunscreen. "They should bring submarines then, or those mech suits from Bioshock. Imagine throwing a frisbee with that thing, you'd take someone's head off.....then you can maul the others with your giant drill" Corbenik said excitedly, clearly not having any idea what a frisbee was for.
He then turned to Kold "I'll have a nightmarish torture flavour one, with chocolate sprinkles and a wafer!" he commanded, raising a furry arm.
