Well I guess Jesus leads them back. Remember Jesus didn't care for the righteous all that much. I remember watching a documentary on Ted Haggard, and he said that "Jesus will leave the flock of 99% and will chase after that 1% and bring him back"
For a few years I've been wandering away from Christianity, but my back was never on God or Jesus but more so on the people. I came back last year on the account of my boyfriend, however converting because of those you love is never a good idea. (He didn't want me to convert). I was emotionally unstable, and because of that and how I was treated by my peers, I wondered away again. I became a pagan, however when it came to my beliefs and my morals they were Christian. I just never acknowledged the title. I never acknowledged what was in my heart. It wasn't until a few days ago that I had a revelation about myself. I looked deep inside my heart after a friend apologized for his actions and said he was going to convert to Christianity from Paganism or was looking towards it. I decided that it was time for my to look at myself and examine myself a little more closely. That was in it hit me that all this time, I was still a Catholic. I still believed in Christ and God. So like Haggard said, he'll leave the flock of the righteous and will chase that black sheep and bring him or her back. Which is why it is best to leave it up to Jesus or God when it comes to converting others.

Well. I was a really strong christian for a while. And I strayed away but God kept sending me reminders, like, hey Para, I am still here and waiting for you. And then I was like "WHOA, GOD IS STILL HERE." And I went back to christianity. I started to read again, looked for christian groups, things like that to bring me back.

I have read some of you last posts and I am glad that you have thought things through. I'm glad to see you taking God and the way you understand God seriously. I'm glad that you cam to the conclusion that God loves and Loves you. smile I have left God a time or two in my life time and it was a difficult time in my life with out him. Every one has there own way back to Him. This is where you mend a relationship with Him. Just like when you get in a horrible fight with a friend or family member that you love. sweatdrop This will take prayer and time and mediation on the Bible and on His love for you. It is true a lot of horrible things happen to the human race and in our own lives because we decided that we don't need God or His redeeming love. I suggest that you focuses on His love and how to see other people through His eyes. Hayabashi2 I don't know you but I can tell that you are intelligent and have talents, and God is just waiting to work beside you to show you how they are most effective. Keep seeking !!!! biggrin He will show you what to do. He loves you and everyone so much. going back to Him is as simple as leaving behind your Judgment of God, trusting Him and asking Him "ok what now?" I hope that things hove been better for you lately I'm praying for you your sister Lil April

"Youth is a state of mind" I've strayed away from faith, and I just feel lost, y'know? Like, I don't know how to take that first step back. :S I feel disconnected from God completely, and I don't want to.
