I'm a bibliophile. I'll admit it. I have a mini library started in my room almost. xD
I'm currently obsessed with the House of Night books by PC Cast and Kristen Cast. What's interesting is that it has Pagan and Christian references and it claims that all of our celebrities are Vamps. xD And it calls Christians "People of Faith" And they have very overzealous attitudes and think vampires are evil. (Think of True Blood's Church of the Sun.)

Ooh! Books! I've got just about every Anne Rice vampire story I could find, a lot of R.A. Salvatore, some Ed Greenwood, and a little Ellaine Cunningham. Everyone but Anne writes Forgotten Realms novels (Dungeons and Dragons world. Yes, I'm a little obsessed with it too. lol.)
My favorite would have to be The Assassins of Tamurin by S.D. Tower. First book I was ever able to read more than once, I think I've gone through at least 3 times now...

Almost any kind will work for me ^^ I LOVE books by Christopher Pike, Michael Chriton [sp?], and Ellen Hopkins especially. Sci-fi, historical fiction and books about modern warfare are awesome too.

The meaning of life is secret inanity. I prefer to read mystery books but I'll read anything with a story to be told held within. Piers Anthony is the exception to mystery books. I'll read anything he's written. DOWN WITH MUNDANIA! The meaning of life is secret inanity.

Fantasy and mystery. Of all sorts.
In 10th grade I was addicted to the murder mystery books, lol. In 11th grade I was addicted to magic fantasy books, like dragons and fairies.
My senior year I didn't read as much, but what I did read was Anne Rice. I really enjoyed those.. I also read future(ish) books, like 1984. Actually did my report that year on George Orwell..
Now I have a crapload of Stephen King to read, and I've only actually read one book so far, but I really enjoyed it..
I suppose my only problem has ever been that when I get into a book, it's really difficult to get out. You can talk to me and I'll never hear you. Sometimes at night I'll lay in bed wondering what is going to happen next. It's even worse if I finished the book and it's one that lets off as to what happens next.
While I'm not too fond of the authors themselves, I agree that the House of Night series is pretty good. Last Christmas I got a giftcard to Target and the first two books caught my interest, so I bought them.

I'm another one with a small library. I tend toward fantasy and scifi when it comes to fiction but really, anything but romance novels will do. I also enjoy quite a few of the "classics" and read books on history and mythology for fun.
Currently reading Victory of Eagles by Naomi Novik, Gods and Myths of Northern Europe by H.R. Ellis Davidson, The Once and Future King by T.H. White, and volume two of the complete stories of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle.

The Davidson one is a good read though I don't agree with everything she has to say.
