I thought this would be fun to have. We say what people think and the reality of their thought.
Here is mine.
Spiritomb and Sableye have no weakness. This is true on the most part but if a pokemon used Foresight or Odor Sleuth you are able to hit them with fighting moves. There showing they have a weakness.

Fighting-type and Normal-type moves actually. Though I don't understand what this has to do with myths?

I think what you are trying to say is that by using odor sleuth or foresight
Spiritomb becomes a dark type pokemon ............?

No he's saying even though it's a ghost type that it will be supereffective when it hits them. Dark types are weak against ghost but it hasn't been proven...yet that it will work.
You could use the move tester app in the poketch.
I haven't tried it though.
My wi-fi is down so I'll have to get another year of training down.
Luther beat me in a battle.

Still it was fun.

Yes, it is.
It makes you feel better when your trying to catch it though.
XD
It's a random chance of capture.
First to determine if it will work you will need to know five things.
1.How rare the pokemon is.
2.What level it is.
3.is it asleep parylyzed? ECT.
4.How much HP it has.
5.what pokeball you are using.
I get masterballs from my Fire red alot so I don't usually calculate this stuff.
I can make a system if you all like.
It is very hard to do.

I always end up pressing and holding the B button and up direction on the D-pad, rather than the A button. =P Makes me feel mostly effective, haha.

It's a MYTH that Onix and Haunter can only evolve by trading. If it were totally true, how is it possible there are wild Steelix and Gengar? D:

Also, in my case at least, it's a myth that a Ditto holding an Everstone will always pass on its nature. You have to breed it to a male Pokémon to even have that come into effect, and even then, it seems to me like the Ditto needs to get "warmed up" or something before I'll start getting babies with the right nature. >_>

Never tried it.
I always use pokemon of the same race.
Alakazam +alakazam.
No dittos.
Unless i'm trying to get a certain pokemon using it.
Like Phione.
Is it a myth that strong pokemon with high ev's pass on half of their ev's to their spawn?
XD

I think a pokemon that is holding the everstone has a 50% chance of passing on their nature to their offspring. At least that is what I always heard. So if that's true it won't pass along their nature all the time.

This pretty much sums it up, though to correct Nezu, you can actually pass down natures whether the non-ditto Pokemon is a male or a female.

Actually you can only pass natures down with the female, or ditto acting as the female.

S'what I meant. =P I've tried putting a Ditto with an Everstone to get a Miltank with a specific nature, and had to go through numerous Eggs before I finally got what I wanted, though it was totally by chance. The female took precedence over the Ditto.

No, Miltank is a Female only species, so you woudl have to have given the everstone to the Miltank. What ever is the female or is acting as the female (ditto) is what can pass on it's nature, of which there is a 50% chance. So if you had a male Torchic, and a ditto, if the ditto had a nature you wanted, you would give the everstone to the ditto, as it is playing the part of the female.
