[.::Kerri's Room::.]

Kerrigan's room is neat, everything in it's place. Across from the door is a queen-sized bed, a nightstand on the left side with an alarm clock on it and a small lamp. To the left of the door is a desk with computer and other desk-like items on it, a bookshelf sitting on the wall next to it. There are books and other assorted knickknacks ready for use. It is on her desk that she has a lot of her supplies for making ammunition, so that area is well lit. On the left side of the room there is also a small love seat so she can accommodate more than one person in the room at a time. Usually, however, this is where she throws her dirty clothes to keep them off the floor before she does laundry.

There are two doors on the right side of her bed, the left one leading into the closet, the right one leading into the bathroom. Needless to say, the closet is pretty much jam packed with clothes, though she has a whole section dedicated to hunting gear and weapons. The bathroom is just as small as the rest of the room, though everything is neatly put away like in the rest of the room.

Her dresser sits on the low wall that divides the kitchen area from the rest of the room, also on the right of her bed. On it is her TV and DVD player, though they are hardly ever used save to watch the news. The kitchen area lays beyond that low partition, equipped with a small refrigerator that includes a freezer, microwave and toaster. Though this area also hardly gets used, she does keep emergency stashes of blood packets in the freezer for when she needs them.

Kerrigan walked into her room, looking around at it for the first time in so long. Shortly after she and Krii split, she rearranged all the furniture, though she was never able to really enjoy her changes. Now that she was looking at it with a fresh pair of eyes, it looked good. She was glad it was so different from the original - as much as she loved him, she didn't want to be reminded of the life that would have been with Krii every time she walked into the room.

Making sure the door was closed, she began to peel off her travel clothes, tossing them onto her love seat before heading into the closet to pull out a fresh outfit. If she was just going out by herself, it would have been a much easier decision - instead she stood in front of the walls of clothes in her undergarments for several minutes before pulling out a suitable outfit. She wanted something that she could move in, yet at the same time looked good and hugged all the right places. Why she felt the need to actually try was beyond her - it was almost an impulse at this point.

Eventually, she emerged from the closet, buttoning her dark wash skinny jeans as she went. Her top consisted of a tight black tank top, covered by a looser grey one. Even though it was baggier, it seemed to make her look even skinnier than before, her toned shoulders and arms hinting at the equally proportional body hidden beneath the clothes. Pulling her boots on over the jeans, she laced and clipped them tight to her calves, finally hooking her belt around her waist, securing the holster straps around her upper thighs. Slipping her magnums into place, she did a quick turn in the mirror before grabbing her black leather jacket and heading out of her own room to get to Hunters. With any luck, she wouldn't keep Raven waiting for too long.

Flipping over in bed rather suddenly, Kerrigan let out a soft groan, sweat beading on her forehead despite the colder temperature she kept her room at during the day. Another thrash of the sheets and her body shot bolt upright, hand instantly reaching for the gun that she kept under the opposite pillow. Her crimson eyes stared into the darkness of the room, searching momentarily before she relaxed once more, flopping back onto the bed. The arm with the gun draped over her forehead, the metal of the barrel glinting softly from the light of her alarm clock next to her. It was almost time for her to get up again anyways - she wanted to get in a training session before the other hunter's started to trail in from the city. It was another night for her to do what she did best, but she still needed to talk to Eden before she did anything.

Slipping out from under the covers, she walked across the darkened room with ease, flipping the light to the bathroom on to wash her face. Looking up at her reflection in the mirror, her lips moved in silent words, repeating the mantra to herself that she had learned over the last few months to calm her nerves when she was feeling frazzled. There was no way she could do her job when she was suffering from severe anxiety, and so she calmed herself the only way she knew how. Putting on a smile, she slipped her black slip off, tossing it on the loveseat before walking into the closet to get dressed.

Re-emerging moments later in a pair of jeans and a black tank top, she headed through the hallways of Haven towards the training room, glad that she remembered to keep a set of work out clothes in her locker.

Once more, Kerri proved why she had advanced so far through the Hunter ranks, managing to open her door while juggling her keys and an unconscious man. Practically dragging him across the room, she managed to make it to the love seat, dropping him halfway onto the piece of furniture before she managed to step back, her chest rising and falling in time to her accelerated breathing. She might be in good shape, but she just lugged 160 pounds of man through Haven - talk about conditioning.

Kicking her heels off, she pushed her dirty clothes off the back of the love seat, positioning him to he was at least not going to fall off any second. Even in the dark, her vampiric senses were enough for her to take off his tactical vest, draping it over the back of the desk chair that wasn't too far off. She could really embarrass him and undress him the rest of the way, but thought better of it, chuckling to herself as she tried to make him comfortable. Grabbing an extra pillow from her bed, she stuck it under his head, pulling a blanket from the closet and draping it over him. It was a sight to see, Raven completely passed out, feel hanging off the end of her love seat.

Once she was sure he wasn't going to drown in his own vomit or something like that, she left the light off, stripping down to her black cami and boyshorts before crawling into bed herself. This had been one hell of a day, and she really deserved the rest.

Back in the younger years, Marcus would join his fellow classmates and colleagues at the local bar and toss a few beers around. Eventually he would get to stronger and harder stuff. He was notorious for holding his liquor compared to his friends, that is till his late college years. During his senior, the man slowed down the drinking and eventually didn't drink anymore except on special occasions. Such as the night he met that mysterious bloodied woman who tore all but one of his friends apart. It was that night he met a fellow hunter and learned the way of the shadow warriors; those who hunted the undead and such.

However, New York had a charm that only brought back Marcus's old self. His habit in drinking was one of them. Sober since that fateful incident, Marcus forgot how long its been and now, he was waking up in the a dark room, unable to see anything.

"Oh s**t..." The dark haired hunter quietly moaned in hopes to not harming his aching hearing. His stomach began growling in protest and echoing unbearable pain as he shifted where he was laying. His head was pulsing with nonstop hurt as his eyes attempted to adjust to the darkness. Gathering what barrings he could in the dark, he was apparently somewhat on a couch. "What the...?" He whispered as he then took the blanket off and realized the weight of his tactical vest was gone. Someone had began to undress him.

Heh, Guess Kerri took me to my room... The man reasoned as best he could, his head spinning slightly as he attempted to slip onto the floor. His hands fell onto the floor as he began crawling in the dark on the floor, his hands working his web gear and straps to remove his ammo, grenades, and guns. Feeling lighter and even more tired from his actions, the man eventually reached what felt like the bed. He sighed as he took his shirt off and managed to get on his knees.

Remember to thank Kerri for dragging my a** to my room... The confused and extremely fatigued hunter thought as he took off his boots and socks next, fighting the sudden urges of his stomach convulsing. He'd be damn if he was going to throw up in his room after just moving in. Sighing, Marcus slipped over the edge of the bed, not recalling the foot of the bed facing towards the love seat.

It's late. I'll figure it out later... The man reasoned as he found the blankets and slipped beneath them, his hands searching for his pillows...Wha-? Something soft and like flesh met his fingers as he looked underneath the blanket. His mind attempted to compute what it was till he realized it was flesh.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Marcus shouted as he then got up and looked into the darkness at the direction he felt the gentle skin. "WHO THE HELL'S HERE? KERRI?! IS THAT YOU?!" He was now confused even more and his head began to spin even faster as he attempted to process the flow of information rushing his senses. Secretly, he hoped it was for if he was going to find anyone sleeping in his bed, he'd rather have her than some random member.

Why is Kerri in my bed?
PostPosted: Mon Sep 07, 2009 12:20 am

Kerrigan was sleeping, dreaming her sweet dreams of nightlife in the city, taking on more vampires than she would normally be able to with finesse and grace she normally possessed, times 10. Just the visuals themselves were enough to bring a soft grin to her lips, so lost in the world of dreams that as Raven began to stir, muttering to himself as he thought he was in his own room, she remained completely oblivious. Even as she felt something brush her skin, she simply adjusted slightly before being awakened by Raven's loud cry.

Now, she was paranoid enough when it came to sleep, but when she heard someone scream in her room, instantly snapping her out of her dreams, her hand shot under the opposite pillow, pulling out a small revolver. Whipping around in bed, black curls falling about her face and shoulders in her hurry, she let out a scream at the shadow at the side of her bed, eyes still adjusting to the dark.

"What the fu- RAVEN?! Jesus, you almost scared the s**t out of me," she breathed out, running her fingers back through her hair to get it out of her face as he flopped back into the bed, her breathing accelerated. It was obvious that she forgot he was in the room until her rude awakening, and if there was one thing she hated, it was being woken up thinking there was a stranger looming over her bed.

"God, I'm sorry, I forgot you were in here. I couldn't fish your keys out of your million pockets, so I just gave up and dragged your heavy butt to my room," she explained, breathing deeply to try and calm herself down. Everything was blurry as she sat up in bed once more, the covers slipping down to show her cami bunched halfway up her stomach. It was clear she forgot she was in a cami and boyshorts as she reached over to the lamp on the nightstand, flipping the switch to bath the room in soft, yellow light. Rubbing under her eyes, she let out a soft groan, clearly winding down from her adrenaline burst moments before. Standing from bed, she motioned for him to sit down on the bed, moving into her kitchen area with shuffling feet to grab him a bottle of water. She reappeared a moment later, bottle of water in one hand and two advil in the other.

"Here...take these and sip this," she said softly, slipping onto the edge of the bed as she handed him the meds and the water. Stifling a yawn with the back of her hand, she sniffled, tossing her messed curls over her shoulder as she waiting for him to take a few sips of water. It would help with the hangover in the morning.

"How are you feeling? As green as you look?"

Luckily it was too dark for Marcus to see the revolver, but hearing her voice was enough to cause him to leap up, stumble and fall back onto the ground as he attempted to pinpoint Kerri's position in the dark. "Kerri?! Oh s**t...don't tell me..." He grumbled as he rubbed his eyes to the sudden change in lightening. Glancing around the room with blurry vision, Marcus noticed there were an extension to the room and the bed was definitely facing the wrong direction. Then the thought struck him. Kerri only confirmed it.

"I'm in your room?" It was with that statement a smile spread across his face as his vision attempted to focus on the shape that was the Vampiress. "s**t...what happened?" Marcus grumbled, more to himself than to the female as he slowly managed to get himself up from his position on the floor. She motioned for him to sit on the bed, which he did and watched her form go into the extended portion of the room.

Slowly but surly his vision focused more clearly and Marcus could pick up the distinctive features that were of the woman's room. It was nice, though a tad messy with the dirty clothing oozing out the back of the couch. Then again, so did his room. This caused his crooked smile to grow even more. But nothing prepared him for what he saw next. Kerrigan in her nighttime clothing. Unable to hold his pervert smirk, Marcus looked away as he fell back on the bed.

"Thanks." He said, taking the small pills and the bottle of water blindly with his one arm over his face. Though he wasn't thirsty and he highly doubted advil would stop the pulsing behind his face, he humored the dark haired beauty and did as told. But it took a few more tries of swallowing as his throat was sore and very cottonmouth, a sure side effect of "Hunter's Gasoline".

"Er...am I really green?" He then replied to the last question as he removed his arm from his face to look at the woman with an amused expression on his face. "I don't know...all I can really recall is Hunter talkin' about a vampire in the basement and Edith in love...I think." The hunter moaned before attempting to sit up right, a painful feat for the man.

"So you really dragged me to your crib? Heh, I'm gonna be gettin' s**t for this, ain't I?" The man then asked, shaking his head as he laughed a bit. "Oh well, at least it was slightly worth it to see where the 'Great Kerrigan' lived...that and what she wears when she's goin' to sleep." Marcus couldn't help but wink to the woman as he prepared for some sort of painful physical rebuttal to the last comment.

"Yes, you're in my room. As much as I enjoyed feeling inside every pocket you had while juggling your unconscious body, I eventually just gave up and brought you three doors down," she explained in a little more detail as she attempted to make something of the messed curls tangled about her shoulders. It was funny that she was more concerned with her hair than her lack of pants - that would be a field day for her shrink. Watching as he took the advil, sipping the water like she told him, she took the open bottle when he had enough, closing it and setting it to the side with a deep breath, muttering a "don't mention it." Her eyes travelled over his shirtless form as he lay back on her bed, snapping her attention back to his face as he asked if he was really green. It brought a small smile on her face, chuckling as she shifted around so she was facing him more, bringing one leg up under the other.

"Well, you decided to try and impress me with the whole 'I'm not drunk! I'm a man! I can drink you both under the table' speech, downed Hunters gasoline against my advice, and proceeded to keel backwards off the stool. If it were up to Hunter, he would have just left you there, but you just remember that I took pity on you, and really did try to take you back to your own dwelling where you could awaken and undress in peace," she said, a mischievous grin slowly appearing on her lips as she relayed the story from her perspective back to Raven as he said he couldn't remember anything past his conversation with Hunter. She might have embellished a little here and there, but for the most part she tried to keep it as truthful as possible. Flirty, but truthful. As he joked about getting s**t for this, her fanged grin widened, the huntress leaning forwards slightly as she ran her fingers back through her hair.

"Oh yea. Never living this down for the rest of your natural life," she said with a soft chuckle, returning to her normal sitting position as he responded about getting to see her place. Once more she laughed, mostly because of the ridiculous notion that anyone would care where she slept, much less what she slept in. Reaching over, she gave him a soft thwap on the shoulder, apparently not the least bit embarrassed to be caught so scantily clothed. Krii and Will saw her in less than this once - after that there was really nothing left to hide.

"You know, if my night attire doesn't suit you, I can always go change. After all, this is all a dream, and your wish is my command," she said in a rather sarcastic tone, sticking her tongue out at him playfully. She wasn't sure if she should help him back to his own room, let him worry about it now that he was conscious again, or put him back on the couch in case something were to happen. She didn't know much about him, but she could tell that there was still quite a bit of alcohol in his system.

Marcus laughed as he shook his head. "Boy, if only I was in a better mood..." The man replied as he chuckled a bit more before falling back onto the bed and throwing one arm over his eyes again. "...well, since this my dream and your to my bidding, turn off the light. It's killin' me." With that, the man moved over to the edge of the bed and tucked his arm beneath her pillow. He wore a smile as he closed his eyes and shifted his body to the side.

"We'll talk later...right now, I'm head is poundin' and I'm too tired for any more sexual innuendos." Marcus still held his amused grin as he shifted some more on the bed, insuring their was room on the bed before relaxing his body to the point where his fatigue got the better part of him. In a few moments, he was asleep.

This was the kind of relationship Kerri liked to have with men - plenty of fun and games, though there was really nothing going on between the two of them. Even as Raven asked her to turn off the light, making himself comfortable on her bed, she laughed, nodding as she stood and walked around to the other side, flipping the lamp off. Before she climbed into bed herself once more, she reached over to the love seat he had vacated, grabbing the blanket from there as he was apparently not going to get under the covers - it was probably a wise move should anyone -couchEdithcough- walk into the room and want to know what the heck was going on.

"Night Raven," she said through the darkness, the smile on her lips obvious by the tone in her voice as she approached the bed once more. By the time she draped the blanket over his form, he was already asleep once more, no doubt having drunken dreams of random thoughts. A laugh escaped her once more as she got back under her own covers, getting comfortable once more in the dark of her room. It had been forever since she had a man in her bed, and now she could say it was a drunken Raven...yea, he really was never going to live this down so long as she knew him. Closing her own eyes, it wasn't long before she too fell back asleep.

It was dark and quiet in the bedroom. Opening his eyes to the darkness, Marcus laid on the bed and listened for any movement from the other occupant. It was clear she was asleep, for nothing stirred in that dark room. Marcus could felt the weight of the woman next to him as she slept soundly as he shifted slightly. He let a quiet sigh as he slowly and carefully moved off the bed. Though at first he thought he would trip on something, he found himself extremely lucky and on his feet. Carrying an unseen weary smile on his face, the man went on all four as he began searching and collecting his article of clothing and gear.

A few times, the man accidentally stumbled upon Kerri's under garments, but in his mind, he had an excuse. Recovering from a hangover in the dark while searching for his clothes sounded reasonable. Marcus's smile grew as he found at least his boots and shirt as well as the tactical vest left hanging on a chair. On the floor in the dark, Marcus slipped on his boots and shirt, sighing as he realized he left his gun somewhere near Kerrigan's side of the bed. I'll pick that up the next time I see her... With that, the man quietly worked his way towards the far end of the bed to find the door. As quietly as the skilled hunter could, he made his slip out of the vampiress room, sure that he would catch hell later...

Several hours later, Kerrigan stirred in her bed, glancing to see that Raven was already gone. When exactly he left, she had no idea - when she finally made it back to sleep she was out for the rest of the day. Glancing at the clock on her nightstand told her that it was time to get ready for the night shift, as she sometimes liked to refer to her life as. Slipping out of bed, she messed her hands through her bedhead curls, stalking into the bathroom and taking a shower before she emerged in a towel, heading into the closet to change clothes. She had gotten the message that Krii was coming back to Haven - while most would have thought she was thrilled with the idea, it really put her in a rather foul mood. Even if she was still wearing his ring on a chain around her neck, that didn't mean the two parted on good terms.

Coming out of the closet in a pair of jeans and a white tank top, she zipped an extremely form fitting leather jacket over her torso before disappearing into the bathroom once more to straighten her hair. By the time she was done, her normally tight curls fell softly about her shoulders, showing just how long her hair really was when she took the time to actually do something with it. Checking herself once over in the mirror, she headed out the door, deciding her first stop would be the Infirmary to check on Edith and their guest. If Raven didn't make an appearance by then, then she might have to check up on him as well. Looks like she was resuming her place as the Haven babysitter, not that she minded. Slipping through her door with a grin on her lips, she took to the hallways of Haven, heeled boots clicking against the floor.

Kerrigan stalked into her room from leaving Hunters, leaning back against the door as she closed it and released a heavy sigh. So many thoughts and emotions were running through her head that she was starting to get a migraine. Moving over to her bed, she no sooner sat down than she felt her phone vibrating in the back pocket of her jeans. Fishing it out, she braced herself for a message from Krii, but was instead met with an invitation from Raven. She stared at the message for a moment, contemplating if she wanted to go or sit here and fume over everything that happened. Realizing that the latter of the options was just one step above a pity party, she sent him back a message, standing from her bed and moving over to a full length mirror. Securing the top half of her hair back with a clip, she did a quick turn around before slipping back out her door, heading into the City. How was it that Raven always seemed to know what she needed? Right now, she needed to forget about Krii, and drinking was usually the best way to do it.

Sethe walked Kerrigan down the halls of Haven, and opened the door to their old room. He walked her into the room, and sat her on the bed. Sethe turned, and walked to the door, and leaned against it for a moment. 'Don't worry about it. I probably won't be sleeping much for a long time. It doesn't matter to me. I need to talk to Uncle for a while, so sleeping isn't going to be happening a lot for me.'

Sethe shook his head, and sighed. 'When you get a chance to, send me a message when you want to talk.' He got up off from against the wall, and stepped out of the threshold, his hand on the door handle, closing slowly. 'I'll... see you later. I lo-' he bit his lip, looked at her, and closed the door.

Kerrigan allowed herself to be helped to her room, standing on her own as they came to a stop in front of her door. Her green eyes turned to him as he spoke, telling her that the room situation was fine for now. She lingered in the doorway of the open door before moving over to the bed and sitting down so she didn't have to focus so much on standing.

"Yea...I guess the least we can do is talk," she said simply, watching him walk away and close the door behind him. After sitting for a moment, she looked at the clock on her nightstand, sighing slightly. Pulling her clothes off til she was just in her undergarments, her head hit the pillow and she was out almost immediately.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Groaning, Kerrigan sat up in bed. Her hair was pulled up into a messy bun, no doubt the result of some middle of the night endeavor when she got too hot under the sheets. Her clothes were strewn about the floor at the foot of her bed, the raven haired vampiress checking about the room as if questioning how she got there in the first place. While she could vaguely remember the order of events from the previous night, the specifics were all a little hazy.

Running her hands over her blurred eyes, she tried to make sense of the clock on the nightstand, sighing as she realized it was time to get up and get moving. She had already overslept by her standards, which meant that a workout would have to wait until she got back from hunting.

Slipping from the sheets, she moved across the room to the bathroom, kicking the door shut behind her as she turned on the shower, undressing and stepping into the steaming water in an attempt to wake up. She had less of a headache than she thought she would, though it was definitely still there, but the hot shower did help somewhat. Walking back out into the room, wet hair in a towel, a black robe tied to her waist, she turned on the evening news to listen to while heading into the kitchen area, grabbing a blood packet. As she fed she listened to the evening's stories, sighing as there was more news of violence throughout the streets.

Tossing the empty packet into the garbage, the huntress disappeared into the closet, re-emerging a few minutes later in her hunting outfit, using the mirror to lace up the back of her corset before securing her magnums to her thighs. Giving herself a look over in the mirror, tousling her black curls about her shoulders, the huntress took to the hallways of Haven, heeled boots clicking with each step. It was time for this huntress to get back in action.
