There is an expansive forest to the north of the village which stretches for miles. The southern half expands from the northern wall of the village to the Moon Lake. Some places of the woods are extremely dense but at the same time there are a few empty clearings periodically throughout. The trees are of all different variety and are beautiful when fall comes around. There are a few giant trees in this part of the forest, one just outside the north gate. Regular wildlife roams through the forest and shows little to no threat. An occasional tough animal comes along every time to time, but can easily be taken care of by a strong genin.

Death exited the village and entered into the forest. It was obvious from his outfit that he had set himself on a mission. He was wearing his Anbu mask over his face and the Anbu cloak covering his body, but with the hood down. He was wearing his signature red scarf, allowing it to wave in the wind as a sign of his readiness for danger.

He looked up in the air and saw one of the larger trees of the forest. This specific tree could be seen from within the village and would most likely make a good lookout spot for the future. But at the moment, Death would use it to look in the other direction.

As the acting leader of the village, it was Death's duty to know the area surrounding their territory. Today, Death would attempt traveling north and into the vast mountain range. Once before he had tried to do this just casually. Much to Death's misfortune, he had discovered that the further north you traveled the more deadly the wildlife became. He had only gotten as far as to find a magic lake before he had to turn back.

This time around, Death had prepared himself for the inevitable battle on his journey north. The wild things would not trump him this time. He had his weapons ready, underneath his Anbu cloak. To take even more precautions, Death planned on looking before he leaps this time.

With a single jump and a three-quarter forward flip, Death landed on the side of the huge tree. He was holding himself to the tree with a classic foot technique. It was simple, but effective. He ran up the side of the tree in a flash and was at the top in no time.

He glanced behind him and saw into the village. Death could see the construction taking place and the few citizens walking about the streets. This really was a great lookout that he would have to remember. Death then looked north, towards the mountain range.

"I wonder how long the journey will take me," Death pondered to himself. "Perhaps I should have brought some food... nah, I could always eat the animals." It was a bit grotesque, but true. Death probably would have to kill a few woodland creatures for dinner, but if he didn't eat them, they might eat him.

Before Death left on his mission, he waited. Not only was he concentrating his energy, but he was allowing people to see him. Everyone that Death could see in the Village, could in return see Death. He would like them to take notice and interest. Perhaps some one would even be kind enough to approach him, he had been quite lonely lately.

He silently walked into the large forest. He marveled at the size of the trees and how dense they were. He found a small clearing after a few minute walk. He noticed death in a tree a short distance away and nodded to him. He pulled out his scimitars and started to practice with them. He also carried a larger thick bundle of other items we would be using to train.

((Remember to type in your character's name or some other form of identification instead of just "he" all the time.))

Death looked down through the branches towards Voern. From his own perspective it was a little more difficult to see but Death could make out the shape. After all, there weren't too many people in the village so it was easy enough to pick someone out.

Looking up at the sun, Death noticed that he still had a little time to spare; he was a bit ahead of schedule. He then jumped backwards from the tree and began his long plummet towards the ground. Death landed in a roll as not to break anything and he stood up now at the base of the tree.

"Hello," he greeted as he removed his mask. "What are you up to? You training?" Death wondered what kind of things this citizen could do. He should, after all, learn more about each member of his village, it's only right.

Voern looked at Death as he approached. "Yes that is what I am doing, and I am slo testing some of my new weapons I have forged." Voern looked at the mask. "why are you wearing that thing?" He put down his scimitars and picked up a large axe and tested its weight.

Death looked at the mask in his hand. It was a standard Anbu mask that he had barely wore but this seemed to be a good time to. "It's just in case I encounter a dangerous human along my journey. I wouldn't want him knowing who I am and allowing him to stalk me. I doubt it will happen but I should get used to wearing this thing."

Death watched Voern play with his exotic weaponry. It was very interesting to see such diversity all being used by one person. "Have you ever tried sai?" When Death had been younger and learned basic martial arts, sai was one of the weapons taught to him. Death hadn't used them in forever but he could probably still remember.

"I have a pair in my work shop" voern said remembering the shiny pair of sai that had barely been used. "You may have them if you like, Their name is Eiswut." Voern put the ax to a tree and swung it. The one bladed ax cleanly swept through the tree.

"Cool," he remarked. "I don't want them, I was just curious." Death pondered over the various other weapons he had learned. "I assume you know basic things such as the katana," he guessed. Death pulled open his cloak slightly to show the one he had strapped to his right hip.

A deathly pale young woman walked through the gates of the nameless village, the expanse of the Ukude Forest opening before her. Her face was concealed by an Anbu mask and an Anbu cloak hung on her shoulders, covering most of the rest of her body. The hood was up and covered her hair.

She approached the two men, taking careful steps, stopping about half a meter from Death.

"You couldn't wait five minutes for me, could you?" Life's voice grumbled through the mask at her twin.

"yes I am familier with it" Voern pulled out a katana from the bundle. It was of a high gloss finish with asian writing on it. The handle was black and gold cord wrapping. The blade had a gold inlade line under the writing. "It was made for a friend of mine, but she was killed before I was able to give it to her"

"Oh wow," Death remarked to Voern. "That's pretty upsetting. Death is an excruciating torture after all." This probably didn't help much, Death wasn't good at wording things with care. "Well it's quite beautiful. If you die I will be sure to edit your will so I can have it.... Just kidding!!" Death chuckled for a moment before placing the Anbu mask back on his face.

Turning to his sister, Death said, "Well perhaps you shouldn't take so long. And don't get started about how 'it's a new place' and 'I haven't gotten used to the feel of everything yet.' You're fine; you made it this far after all." When Death quoted his sister he used an obnoxiously high pitched voice that was obviously wrong.

He started to giggle at their sibling rivalry. He noticed how everyone was wearing a mask so he joined the fun. Voern found a metal mask in his side bag and placed it over his face. It was a stained black skull shaped metal piece. The teeth were carved out and inlaid with small peridots.

Mentally, Life glared at Death. Because physically glaring would not be anymore effective, considering the fact that there was a mask over her face. At any rate, she retorted, "Well, that's all true. We haven't been here long, and you know I need to take more time. I think the real issue is that you're too impatient."

Life turns her head away from Death and towards Voern. "You are one of the villagers, yes? I don't think we've met. I'm Dying Life, Living Death's twin sister."

"I am voern, yes I am a villager" Voern nodded toward her knowing that she wouldnt be able to see his smile any more.

Voern turned toward death "I would be willing to give it to you"

Death felt special being offered so many nice things. "You don't have to give me anything, don't worry. I've got everything I need." He smiled from under his mask, he was starting to like this genin. As for his sister, Death simply made a talking motion with his hand, something Life wouldn't see.
