 The afternoon had started to warm up. A blazing sun moved high above the Isle, as the many small creatures quieted down. Each one going to find shade to hide under.
An orange body could be seen bounding from one rock to the next; across one side of the lake and back. Her tail swayed behind her, as she used it to keep balance and purple wings were open half way to help her glide on the air smoothly. Expierence blew a piece of stray hair out of her face and jumped into the lake with a loud splash. She chased after the ripples across the surface of the clear blue water with a wide smile spread across her maw. Her tail fluff stuck out of the water from time to time, as she dove under and watched the fish down at the bottom swimming around.
Expierence came back to the surface with a small laugh, and sighed feeling the heat dissipate into a cool warmth as it warmed her soaked fur. She swam in circles around the large lake, letting the carefree excitement sink in.

Jiathyn couldn't help but come out at a much slower pace. He let out a slow breath as he slightly began to regret letting his sister do this to him. However, just as he reached the lake he spotted the orange lioness swimming in the water, light glistening off her bright fur and in that moment his breath caught in his throat, she was rather beautiful...
Stepping out further, he eventually paused by the lake bed, his tail curling around him as he sat down. "Hello Expierence." He stated with a small smile on his face.

She gave a flip of her hair, getting the long, stringy strands out of her face, while she moved to float on her back. Staring through the treetops up at the clouds, Expierence felt a calm wash over her, as she went to daydreaming. Somehow the blue of the sky reminded her of Jiathyn and it was in that moment she heard her name.
Her attention snapped up to him. With a wide smile and fevered cheeks, Expierence laughed. "Why hello yourself! How've you been lately? Your sister giving you trouble still?" she asked in a joking manner.

Jiathyn couldn't help but give out a little grunt at even the mention of his sister, "Doesn't she always?" He stated with a slight roll of his eyes before he crouched down to get a better look at her, leaning over the water's edge. "I've been alright I suppose, a little lonely, how about you?" His eyes watched her intently as he found that he had no wish to look away, he wasn't sure how it was managed, but she looked even more beautiful right now than she had the first time he met her.

Expierence swam closer to him to get a better look. Somehow he looked different than the last time she'd seen him, even though he seemed the same. She kept that to herself, rather than saying it out loud. Her words had a tendency to walk in circles and confuse others, especially when it was her thoughts speaking. "Well, what can we do about?" Expierence gave a flick of her tail and giggled. "The days have been fair, though a little dull. You've been lonely?" she meant to say it as a statement, but came out as a question in the end. It oddly gave her some hope and her eyes lit up. Had he missed her like she missed him? Her eyes searched his for a long while, before she glanced down at the water surrounding her.

He gave up his shoulders in a big heave. "Eh. Its just Koi... I'm not really sure anything can be done. She just is who she is... though she's rather annoying.." Shaking his head to and fro, his eyes finally settled upon her again and a soft smile came upon his face for a brief moment. Had he come on too strong with that statement? He hoped not. A part of him wanted to use the question to give some slick flirty statement in her direction, but he worried it would be too much and he wasn't entirely sure that was him. It would probably come out too forced and then she might not believe him and think he was lying? So in the end he decided against it, "I haven't seen you in a while." Was what he did decide to say, it could be left up to her digression on how to take it though, at least in his mind, there was definitely much more meaning behind it.

She looked back up to him with a smile, "Just Koi huh? That's enough of an explanation," her tone was half serious, but ended on a homorous note. Expierence dove underwater for a brief second and came back up with a small fish in her mouth.
She tossed it into a small basket with a victorious smile, "Caught it finally!" she sighed and turned her attention back to him. "Sorry 'bout that. I've been trying to catch him all day," the tip of her tail poked out of the water and swayed back and forth. "Well I've missed you too, and your sister . . . A little," Expierence climbed up onto the edge, so about a fourth of her body rested on the soft ground. "But mostly you. Want to jump in? It's very refreshing." She left it as casual talk, but tried to give little hints here and there.

Jiathyn watched her resurface after her statement with a bit of a strange look in her direction, after her explanation he shook his head but let it slide. Sometimes she was as weird as his sister. "Miss Koi?" He wrinkled up his nose in a playful manner but it was quickly doused when he heard the last of her reply, she missed him more? "Well... you don't have to miss me now." He chided a little with a small smile on his face. At her invitation he instantly jumped in, leaving a large splash of water behind him before pulling her in under it with him.

Expierence caught the playful look and for a moment was shocked, "That's good news for the both of us then." She watched the splash turn into droplets before giving a gasp, as he pulled her under with him. Bubbles floated to the top, as she tried not to giggle underwater. Expierence swam around him and caught his tail with one paw then let go, before swimming off in the opposite direction. A playful challenge was bright and clear in her eyes, as she flashed him a quick wink over her shoulder.

Noticing her trying to swim away from him, he immediately began to go after her. He wasn't going to lose her if he could help it.. even though technically he didn't have her yet.

She glanced back over her shoulder to see him right behind her. Expierence smiled and found an odd looking rock a few feet under her, diving down she noticed it was wide and tall enough to hide her. She could have hidden, but that wasn't her intentions. Instead she waited there for him on one side, with only her head visible and a wide smile.

Musing, Jiathyn saw her swim around the rock and instantly swam as fast as he could toward her. He wasn't entirely sure of her intentions, but he wanted to try to prove that he wasn't as much of a dry stick as his sister tried to say he was. Swimming close, he eyed her for a moment, his tail waving in the water behind him.

She noticed him pick up speed and was amazed at how graceful he looked in the water. The pendants seemed to glow under the water, like a light to show through the darkness. Rays of sunlight shattered as they hit the surface of the water and he seemed to glow against the broken light. Expierence caught herself and hadn't noticed he was right in front of her.
She gave a playful smile and moved to the left, seeing if he would to.

Seeing her move to the left, he raised one eye in her direction and moved to the right as if to pretend to leave. When she wasn't looking, he swam right around the rock and ended up behind her, smirking when he tapped her with his tail.

She gave a small frown and stared after him, but turned her head to search around for anything. Feeling a tap she was shocked as she turned to see him there. A bright smile replaced the frown as she swam up to him and nuzzled his cheek. Expierence wasn't sure of any other way to show him that she was glad he hadn't left.
