There is a large river that travels along the western side of the village. The current is very fast but that doesn't stop it from being filled with fish. It starts out shallow at the edges but quickly drops very deep in the middle. Periodically in the river there are a series of large rocks that stick out above the surface. Since the bridge going over the river has not been completed yet the rocks are the only way across. They also make for a great sparring location.

Akio was walking along the river side wondering what to do, he decided to walk across it and started hoping from rock to rock. Akio stopped half way across the river and sat down on one of the stones.

From the West, Death emerged out of the woods along a dirt path. He had been on a little journey not too far away and had just returned. He was only gone a few hours and was sure no one had noticed. But now he saw someone out on the river, who obviously saw him, too. "Hello!" Death yelled. "How are you today?"

Akio put his hand on the rock he was on, pushed off and back flipped onto another rock then bowed "I'm great accually, how are you?"

Putting his hands on his hips, Death walked to the edge of the river. After some thought he said, "Ya know, politics and economics is a lot tougher than you'd think." Death was referring to building and maintaining the new village. "A word of the wise, don't build a village if you don't want tons of work."

"Yeah, so you can help with this place instead. I mean look, they can't even finish a bridge." Death motioned at the barely built bridge and he noticed something. No one had been working on it at all. It had been left and not worked on for a couple of days. The workers probably wouldn't even come back to it after everything else.

"I can't think of anything at the moment, but perhaps if you ask at the Command Center a desk clerk could pull up some material order forms. You could probably go and retrieve supplies if you wanted. But we're in no rush. I'm sure the workers enjoy the slow periods, just like me." Death laughed slightly. He eyed a nearby stone and hopped to it. "So, what have my lovely little genin been up to lately?"

Death looked down at the river. Water... not one of his favorite things. It's not that he had troubled swimming, but it wasn't exactly a friend of his powers. But at least it wasn't in rain form. "Sure, I guess I can. It'll help me learn more about all my newcomers." Death hopped his left foot to a rock, followed by his right to another, and then landing both feet on a third rock. He was about a third of the way across the river (from west to east).

Akio back handspringed from rock to rock untill he was about a third of the way across the river (from east to west) "I believe you have the first move"

"Fine then, are you ready?" Death always like to start off a fight by using projectiles in interesting ways. This time he threw a handful of large kunai. However, he aimed them not for Akio, but the water in front of him. They splashed into the river, shooting water back up in front of and slightly at Akio. During the splash, Death tossed two shuriken at his opponent, the splash had been a diversion.

Akio made a few hand signs as the water came at him, ending in a water seal "Water barrier wall" the water around Akio lifted and surrounded him also consumeing the two shuriken. After a few more hand signs Akio made the "hidden mist jutsu" then the mist began to cover the area

"Oh perfect, I hate mist." Death stood perfectly still. He made no sound and no movement. His hand was ready to pull out more shuriken, but he would wait so that he could counter instead.
