Pilot Information

Lewis comes from a big family that is rooted in one of the smaller border towns of the Republic. He aspired to join the army after seeing soldiers risk their safety time and again to help protect the Republic's citizens... That and to get out of being the eternal babysitter that his folks constantly finagled him into being.
If not caught reading or slacking off in some other manner he is most likely working letters home and to the various people he has befriended. Writing to and keeping in touch with pen pals is relaxing to him and helps fight off any combat zone jitters he may come across. The letters are almost always upbeat since he doesn't want anyone to worry. Not being a fool Lewis is plenty aware of what he writes and makes sure a letter is not blabbing some secret or contains something his supervising officer would yell at him over (jeez that guy can yell... And for a really long time).
