Personality: Aiko's personality really depends on how she's feeling. She can be a very kind person when she wants to be. She has very bad abandonment issues, so she can be rather clingy to her Zodiac and is usually seen around one of them. She has a very childish personality at times. She can act selfishly and be cruel to people on purpose. She had been known to even lash out at the Zodiac members. Some of them actually have scars from Aiko throwing something or using her nails. Aiko doesn't truly like to hurt her Zodiac. She's really afraid of them abandoning her, so sometimes she feels like she has to assert her place as head of the household, even if it means using violence like a child.
Then, there is the more calm, adult-like Aiko. She will think carefully about what she says and doesn't blurt out everything that's on her mind. She can act somewhat cold, but not harsh. Though she has weird ways of showing it, Aiko really does love her Zodiac. She can be easily embarrassed at times, but can also be brave. She can be short tempered and stubborn. However, if she does hurt someone, she usually feels remorse afterwards, though sometimes her pride is too strong for her to apologize. A lot of people would say that Aiko is a b***h, but those who know her better know that she only does the things she does because she's afraid of being abandoned.
History: Aiko was born the only child to two powerful Sohmas. Her parents couldn't have been more proud of their "perfect" daughter, the one who was 'born to be loved". Her parents raised her as a proper young lady, making her take all kinds of lessons on how to behave as such. If she was going to be the head of the family, she had to act like it. So as a child, Aiko never really got to play with the other Sohma children. Instead, she was isolated from them. Her parents put a lot of pressure on her when she was younger, which could have led to some of her behavior problems now. When Aiko was around eight, her mother left her and her father. Aiko waited for the day when she would return, but she never did. Somehow, she always felt like it was her fault that her mother left. Her father became more and more busy with work and barely had time for his only daughter.
And so, Aiko was left more and more alone. While the other Zodiac members went off to public schools, she had to stay at home and learn. After her mother left and her father became busy, Aiko started to show signs of abandonment issues. She remembered that her parents had always told her that she was the child who was born to be loved. But if that was true, why did she feel so alone?
It was then that Aiko started to cling to the bond and her Zodiac members. Yes, they were her Zodiac. She was the Goddess and the leader of their lovely, never-ending banquet that would continue for eternity. And they were meant to love her because she was their goddess. She'd always had the strongest connection with the dog, loyal companion to the goddess, and the rat, the first one who had arrived to the banquet and the last to leave...or so the story goes. Aiko loves her Zodiac more than anything and wants to 'protect' them from the outside world. But is she really protecting them, or just her own selfish desires?

+ She feels a special connection with the Dog and Rat of the Zodiac. She feels closer to them than any of the other members of the Zodiac.
+ The Kitsune mask is her most prized possession. It was a gift from her mother for her sixth birthday. Aiko cherishes it more than anything
+ Aiko has several scars on her fingers from smashing pots in her fits of anger and cutting her fingers open.
+ She can't cook at all. Everything she tries burns. She's gotten so frustrated before that she just assumes she that she can't cook and gave up entirely. She has other people to prepare her food.
+ Though she does have her own room, like a little kid, sometimes she'll crawl into other Zodiac's beds and sleep with them for the night. It helps her sleep better when she's next to someone.
+ For some reason, she really loves birds.

Personality: Ellen is light hearted, bubbly, and happy almost all the time. shes a bit of a rocker chick and loves music but cant play anything or sing for the life of her, so she expresses her emotion through art work, and all kinds. Shes a strong willed girl and once her min dis set on somthing she goes after it the best she can. Ellen also has random OCD about things here or there. it could be how somthing is lined up or how a room isnt clean to how food is put on a dish. although normaly she isnt too picky about how food looks, since its one of her favorite things.
History: Ellen didnt have a tragic child hood. no, she was never abandoned. no, her parents arent over protective. nor does she really have any porblems with them. ellen is a normal girl, who has lived a normal life except from her curse. you could guess a few members of the zodiac would be a bit jealous of her since shes "normal" but its nothing that ellen lets get to her.
Child Years --
Ellen went to a public school dispite the wishes of the main house. and even though she was in a public shcool for her main schooling years (elementary - high school) never once did she let anyone find out about her secret. when she was around 5, she discovered her tiger side. for a few years she liked it, but both of her parents were vegans, who didnt like anything that had to do with meat. if by instinct Ellen Hunted somthing she was put in time out or punished for it. it was nothing that was too harsh, she just couldnt have play time for a few minutes and was put in the time out chair. over a couple of years she began to dislike meat of any kid. by seven she wouldnt eat it anymore. by 8, she stopped liking cats and hunting. it wasnt that she hated herself, she just disliked the traits of tigers and other cats. one thing she did like though was being adventureous, and how she could see the world through two different sets of eyes.
by middle school, her main group of friends were all girls. she had gotten more accostomed to them since she couldnt really be around boys. Ellen developed the nick name Elly and since 7th grade. not too much happened in this time of her life. she went to school like a normal kid and developed normal hobbies. when it came to love, she became more open to females, but in the back of her mind she was still curious about boys. there was one and only one guy that she dated. at one point in time, a female friend of hers recomened dating one of her guy friends. Ellen dated him for a few weeks. but it was weird to him since she wouldnt let him hold her. they broke up shortly after deciding to be together. ellen realised for now, it would just be easier to date girls. by the end of high school she had friends who were girls and friends who were guys. he had dated alot of females, but in the back of her mind the curiosity of men grew.
now, Elly works at a local bakery. She also a very artistic person who goes to a technical school for the arts. her life is put in routine, and she wishes for a bit of an excape from the everyday " go to work go to school come home " which is why the beach summer vacation is just the perfect excape.
Opinion of the Curse: It was just the card she was dealt, in her opinion. somthing she was born with and has to live with. no use complaining.

Personality: Etsuko is someone that you'd call a "free spirit". She does what she wants when she wants and plays by her own rules. She hates the curse because it goes against that wild nature of her's and tries to tie her down. She's stubborn and will stand up for what she believes in, even if she has to stand alone. She can be quick to anger and is known for her "sharp tongue". She really doesn't see the point of sugar-coating things. She does have a kinder side, but she usually doesn't show it. She puts on a tough facade. If she didn't, she might just lose her mind to this damned curse.
History: Unlike most of the Zodiac, Etsuko's parents were accepting of their little baby girl. Parents of the Zodiac children tended to either abandon their child, or become extremely protective. Etsuko's parents were surprised that their beautiful baby girl had changed into a small baby snake when her father held her for the first time. But both of them were very loving people and it didn't matter to them. Etsuko had a nice childhood. She grew up on the "inside" of the Sohma estate, so she became familiar with the other Zodiac members who were already born. Well, at least until that little monster was born. And no, not that cat.
After Aiko Sohma was born, it caused an uproar in the Sohma estate. The "chosen one", the one they'd all been waiting for had finally arrived. Of course, the first time that the snake met the Goddess, she was overcome with emotion and cried. That was how it was with every other Zodiac member. Aiko was only two years younger than Etsuko, but the snake could feel the power that the Goddess had over her. And it scared her. Etsuko tried being friendly with the Goddess. The two had started off on good terms, until Aiko showed her ugly, cruel self to the snake.
Etsuko didn't like how Aiko acted, so she told her off right then and there. Of course, that didn't go over well with the Goddess. Aiko had lost her temper that day and gave Etsuko a scar on her side that would never heal properly. Ever since that day, Etsuko and Aiko's relationship was a bad one. The two rarely spoke. Of course, Etsuko tried not to listen to the Goddess, but she was the head of the household. The snake spirit inside of her would not allow her to go against her Goddess, so Etsuko has a lot of different emotions inside of her. She still gets in trouble sometimes with the Goddess and has to suffer her wrath. Etsuko has actually been put in the hospital several times because of that child's temper. Over the years, it's made her stronger and more determined to find a way to break that little monster's hold over all of the Zodiac. Etsuko will do anything to break the curse.
Opinion of the Curse: She hates it with a burning passion, plain and simple. She hates the fake "bond" that ties them all together and wishes more than anything for the curse to be broken.

Other: Though she acts tough, she cares a lot for the younger members of the Zodiac. She tries to protect them from Aiko's temper tantrums so that they don't end up with horrible scars.

History: Most of his life has been his dream, people laugh, he laughs with them, but after being abandoned by his parents due to the curse rearing it's ugly head, he became a little more solemn, but after a few years, he got tired of that and began to realize that living without laughter is no life at all, and so he went into high school hoping to bring a smile to each person that he meets face.
Opinion of the Curse: He personally doesn't care much for the curse, it gets interesting when he turns into a monkey, but tripping on banana peels does get a little annoying because he hates bananas
