im a big fan of anything Argent Dawn / Argent Crusade. So to me the instance is a really great experience. Its also helped me come a long way with my tanking set. Before I had a set that was ok for regular now im working on a set more than good enough for raids.

the argent tourney raids are mostly being used by guilds to gear new 80s for naxx and ulduar since they are so easy.

Actually, the badges make it completely worth it. The new gear is better than conquest gear, and that makes it worth it to some extent.

They're challenging because you haven't killed a boss past Auriaya. My server was pugging past that about 2 weeks in to Ulduar. My friend's guild has not wiped in the instance once on live. Ever. ToTC should have been released a few months after Naxx, not balls deep into an expansion that's released a new look on raiding. (hard modes never existed in the past, they were just actual hard content bosses with no drool-on-keyboard-collect-loot option)

I'm not trying to be rude, but for anyone (and I mean anyone) who is taking the normal path of progression in WOTLK the instance is a complete joke. If you've done any HARD hard modes I imagine it's an even bigger joke.

I have yet to see a mage drop in h TOC.

The 5 man is ******** ridiculous easy though.
