Why would the cowboys pick up Colt when they have Romo? I don't like Tony Romo but he is their franchise QB.
Sam: 49ers Colt: Seahawks

Wacko Zacho Why would the cowboys pick up Colt when they have Romo? I don't like Tony Romo but he is their franchise QB. Sam: 49ers Colt: Seahawks if romo ******** up this year he should be done, and jerry jones will see the marketing oppertunity for the starting QB of the dallas cowboys to be Colt McCoy, firstly he is from the university of texas, secondly his name is Colt, how texan is that? if you dont understand that, its a texan thing

Colt-49ers at second highest the highest he could go is the second round with the Lions or Rams. Sam-Rams,Lions,Jets,Redskins(any of those team would get him)

Colt McCoy is a little too similar to Alex Smith; small build, spread offense, questionable arm strength; for the 49ers to want him.

That is hardly true, imo. He is 6'2'', 200 pounds and very frail looking, he is about the same speed as Alex Smith, and he definitely does not have to best arm in the nation. If anything his arm strength is worse than Smith's. McCoy does well because of his accuracy, decision making, and mobility; just like Smith did in college.
