In the far back of the graveyard appeared Cassus' mansion. Its outer walls are decrepit and old, however they rebuild themselves if blown apart or broken further. Ghostly knights patrol the grounds and gargoyle statues dot the stonework and look at people with crazed eyes. Inside the mansion is a giant throne room on the first floor where Cassus spends his time reading and giving orders to his undead soldiers. He has also been known to have dances and feasts in the castle, though with who is unclear. In his basement is a torture chamber without prisoners, though the screams can be heard as the machines torture bodiless people. Few have seen the upper two floors but the library on the second floor contains book upon book of dark magic and artifacts. The third floor contains a portal to the Demonic Plain and a sacrificial mound where Cassus can turn those he brings into undead creatures.

Reks collapsed to the grass on her knees, her hands burried in the thick weeds as she let her head fall forward. she didnt care where she was, just that it was away from the ruins.. and away from Quin. few things hurt anymore, but she had trusted him. he had went to them, the family that had hunted her and her mother.. it tore her heart open and left it weeping, a scar she was sure wouldnt heal. takeing a breath she lifted her head, takeing in her surroundings carfuly.. even though she felt close to tears. she never cried.. and would not start now.

She was on a hill side, the grave of her mother infront of her.. so she didnt see the building a distance behind her. she didnt care, she wouldnt run back to Quin because she hurt.. lifting a hand she pushed the vines from her mothers small tomb stone, the touch loveing and gentle. " what can i do.. im so lost, first father then you.. now Quin. i do not know the path i should walk.." she let her eyes close, her tone calming as she breathed. " you would know.. wouldnt you?"

lifting the note she studied it, for a moment feeling her heart twist. she did know him. felt him every time she held her sword. wiping at her eyes she sniffed, holding the letter to her as if for comfert. Issac.. wolf man! why are you so big? the memory was fallowed by the image of the lycan, her own form so small at the age of Nine. the memory left her feeling a little better. " you didnt abandon us.. i know that papa. please be safe, where ever you are." she didnt know if she could trust this.. her heart hurt still, but she did remember Issac. " if i find him.. ill stay with him. i promise." still holding the letter she put a rose on the grave, standing and heading back to the castle. she would avoid the other man.. finding Issac was her goal.

Maverick had spent and hour at the most feasting on a fresh hunted female he had encountered as he arrived to the castle. His face mostly around the mouth had blood on it. He licked his lips like a dog, he had no feelings about the eating it was good. The dead woman was following close behind chewing Maverick out from what he had done. It was normal to be chewed from a woman that had been eaten. "What the F**k was that for." Maverick looking back at her while carrying her body on his shoulders muttered. "I wish I could make you shut up." He stopped and so did she then he buried. As the last grain of dirt feel in the unofficial tomb her ghost vanished.

Maverick step at the door of the castle and knocked. He ignored the creatures of stone.

Upon getting the invitation from this castle he got the best impression of this place and the owner of it. Maverick drop the helpless tone he had used at the other castle. "Oh you think you can just come outand eat me when I would like to live here. The other castle, Viktors was sickning for me. I thought I would kill myself any minute. So you wanna try and get some lunch." Maverick then stood his ground. "Well im not going to be some little helpless sheep."

With all Maverick had endured in his life, loosing would be not a big deal. "Oh you will snip out my tongue. From where you come from, is taking people's tongues who show disrespect work? Not for me, I don't need it, ill loose out on some things but so." Maverick lessened his tone a bit and then spoke his reason for being here. "I normally don't do this but, the other place they wanted to cage whats inside me but I don't want that. I come here to pledge my loyalty to Cassus."

"I got nothing better to do." Maverick then leaned against the stone face.

Very well. You are to be seen, child. Oh, and Cassus, that little problem in the Mainlands is taken care of. Our sight should not be restricted any longer. He opened the doorway for Maverick, his imposing figure frightening, and his jubilant expression unsettling.
