Terrible thing isn't it? well luckily no one has landed on this in our marching band yet even after the strenuous work right after eating.
anyone barfed yet?

of course, first throw up was a horn player, Josh. He was talking to our head bd and threw up right front of his face and he went running to the restroom.

Suprisingly none... which is weird bc every year except for this one, our second chair tuba has thrown up... It was really bad freshman year bc he threw up every day that week....

Yesterday, pretty much the end of band camp, a tuba player threw up. Apparently it was pretty bad...the BD told the section leaders to throw the water from their water bottles on it to wash it away. (We were in the front parking lot rehearsing). Someone who was next to the tuba player heard like a splash when it happened, like a water ride. They threw a lot of water on it. It was the first time someone threw up during band camp, or the first time that I've heard of.

I'm pretty sure no one threw up at ours. At least, not on the field.

(I'm gonna consider this as more than puking just at band camp. so I don't have to lock it. :] )
One of our tuba players puked the first day of band camp, after our run. I think he puked in a trash can, or something...when he was done, instead of asking if he was okay, our drum major went over and asked, "...Did you have eggs for breakfast?" xd One of our color guard members puked after lunch...she hadn't eaten anything other than a hot pepper (loooong story of the idiocy of my band), and once they started doing stuff she had to be sent home because she couldn't stop puking. The last one I know of this year is a girl in the pit who pukes whenever she sees twinkies...don't ask why. Well, twinkies were given out for dessert that day, and people kept on showing their twinkies to her...she ran to the bathroom maaany times. It was horrible, we could hear her puking while we were eating...D=

My dumbass friend Joanna drank a tall glass of milk on the first day of band camp, but she still never puked.

No-one's puked on the field yet this year, and I don't think we'll see any since school's about to start.
Though I do remember this one time when the trumpet players from a nearby band played the national anthem at a DCI show... and one puked right in the middle of it in front of everybody. It was terrible.
But their band director went and cleaned it up herself! That's dedication. xD
