[ It pisses them off. ]
A slow, unamused hiss came from River as she circled a beetle on the floor. She was- rather, had been relaxing before the damned thing had started scuttling about, and now it was either kill the thing or move to a different spot.
Like hell she was moving for a damn beetle. Swatting it away with ease, a grin cracked across her face as the little insect hit the window with a soft tink and fell away out of view.
The warehouse loomed overhead and blocked out a good chunk of the sunlight, creating a wonderful shaded area in the midst of summer. While the sound of other winiko rumbled inside, the female turned her face the opposite direction. She didn't need their loud voices and their constant badgering.
River's eyes glanced about her, checking over the rest of the garden for any other... intruders. She had become accustomed lately to take her afternoon beauty-nap in here where it was quiet and away from the usual mess of activity. Finding no one there to disturb her peace, she returned to a little patch of soft, green grass beneath a large, gnarled old oak. Flicking one or two acorns from her makeshift blanket, she circled it twice, three times before finally settling back onto it.
Ah, sweet peace... nothing stood in her way now.

Rhaegar tipped the bottle of rum upside down as the final drop touched his tongue. "Son of a -hic!- b***h!" Rough night called for a day long drinking for this demon. Taking a few uneasy steps forward he flung the bottle up against the closest building he could see; a warehouse.
"Where in -hic!- the world...no...damn -hic!- idioOoot he issss!" He made a few more steps before he tripped over his front paws.
"I'MmmmM -hic!- gunna kill -hic! hiimm!!" he didn't know how or when but he had to make it back to...he stopped to think. He didn't even know where his brother would be at this hour.
"Uggggh! What -hic!- time izzz it?!" -hic!- The fire demon looked up towards the sun; squinting.

And just as she thought she could relax...
What WAS that?
Growling softly, River lifted her head from her paws. Who could possibly be about so loudly at this hour? Her hour? Shaking her head, she was about to attempt a nap when the sound of shattering glass splintered the quiet.
That was it.
Leaping to her feet, River padded silently through the early afternoon woods, following the telltale yelling and obscenities that easily showed her where to go. Finally she reached the perpetrator and rounded the corner, paws landing hard in the dirt to show her obvious superiority.
"What do you think you're doing?" she snapped at the older male, "Disturbing my sleep like that?" Suddenly she froze, scenting the heavy smell of alcohol that seemed to waft over from him.
Bad move.
