Anyone done it through the mail? Personally, I've done it with a few people already. It's worthwhile if you know the people and all.

i wouldn't do it by mail. for fear that they dont send the card to me.
selling would be different. i could use fedex or something to regulate the payment.
i dont trade much anyways, unless i go on a deckbuilding binge and i try to get every possible card that would work in it.

I agree, trading through the mail is a bad idea.

Same, the fear of not getting the card would be great, but the loss of money would be bad. the trading idea could work, if they sent you the card first(if you initiated the trade) and then you sent it to...wait that wouldn't work either, you or them could keep the card.

But isn't buying cardes online a matter of trust as well? You are paying a guy to give you singles from his stock.
I've ran into about as much problems trading individuals cards as I have in buying them from "dealers"
Oh yeah, the next time I have to wait for a "dealer" to send me a card after having posted on their website "will send cards 1-2 weeks after ordering" and in actuality I wait 2 months... I'm going to sue.

I wouldnt trade cards through the mail unless they send me the cards first and then I send them back the cards I want to trade. Selling I would do and would only accept paypal.

I've had some pretty good experiences with trading online. And, as for eBay, I not only insist on Pay Pal, I also insist on PP users having a comfirmed adress. Had one too many nightmares otherwise! eek Also, Cardshark is a decent place to buy and sell. heart

I've never tried it and I think you need to see in what condition the card is before trading, that's why I only trade with someone personally.

They have some of the highest prices on older cards that I have seen.
